She is one of the most beautiful women that he's ever seen. What he liked about her is that she has a look that is serene, mature and elegant in every way. He can look at her for hours until forever, because she is so beautiful. It's worth every second that you look at her and she takes your breath away. He has dated a lot of beautiful women before, but why does it feel so different with her? Probably because she is very popular and top rated actress/model/product endorser/business woman. She is very successful, very rich and involves herself in charitable causes by donating some of her money for the welfare of the poor and also for the shelter that cares for stray cats and dogs until they get adopted. Not only she is beautiful outwardly, but most importantly inwardly as well. It's really what he is looking for in a woman and with every passing day, he is falling more and more in love with her. He is not intimidated with her success, instead he took it as a challenge and, for him, it just makes her a more interesting person.
Oh, how beautiful she is! Her beauty is so stunning and intoxicating that they never made a mistake of letting her endorse products such as perfumes, luxurious lotions, sleepwear and underwear made by a multi-national and world famous fashion empire.
It's been his tenth year since landing a job, right after he graduated from college, as a photographer for a very successful and world famous fashion empire. He makes a decent living as a photographer and is exposed to the lifestyle of the rich and famous. In contrast to her luxurious and glamorous background, she has remained simple, humble and down-to-earth. Much like before she got so famous. It's just that her beauty is so intoxicating...that he got dizzy...he couldn't concentrate on the lenses of his expensive camera...and with a thud, he fell down the floor...unconscious.
"Hello...! Hello...! Earth to Jacob! Earth to Jacob! My goodness, for heaven's sake. What happened to you? You just suddenly fell down the floor. I know it's my fault. It's probably my perfume or something, that's making you dizzy and all of a sudden unconscious. Oh my God, I'm sorry, but not so sorry, as I really like collecting and using perfumes. Calvin Klein, Victoria's Secret, Elizabeth Taylor, you name it, I have it all", said she after waking him and pulling him into a sitting position.
You're right; it was your very strong perfume. Next time, please use only a little bit, okay? Anyway, it's not like that you're bad smelling or something", sneered he.
"Yes, I know that time is very precious for such a busy woman such as you. I mean, you have a lot of businesses to attend aside from your job as an actress, model and product endorser", said he after standing up and fixing his appearance.
He then picked up his camera, cleaned the lenses with a cleaning cloth and they resumed with the photo shoot. He got a lot of beautiful pictures of her looking awesome while wearing an elegant red gown that made her look all the more attractive. Among the pictures, he chose the three best pictures of her for the endorsement of the perfume and another three best pictures of her wearing only a sexy nightgown for the endorsement of the luxurious lotion.
What made him like her all the more is her elegant simplicity. She uses make-up, but the colors that she chooses are just neutral colors such as black and brown and it just makes her look classy and it doesn't look as though she has made too much effort on trying to look beautiful. What he admired about her the most is that in her young age of twenty-seven, she was able to build a restaurant and deli serving delicious food and gourmet products that are moderately priced. He always buys food from her deli especially when he is too tired to cook and during rainy days when it's hard to go out and buy food.
After he was done with the photo shoot and choosing her photos for the advertisement, he went straight home. He made sure that his dog, Furball, still has a lot of food and water on his bowls and then he took a bath to freshen up himself, wore his pajamas and shirt and went to bed. Since he can't fall asleep right away, he decided to go to his kitchen, opened his refrigerator and poured himself a glass of milk. He then went to his bed, lied down and turned the television on. He watched the news to update himself with the current events. The news was about showbiz and the news reporter was interviewing none other than Violet Sanders.
"So, Miss Violet Sanders, with such a busy schedule, how would you make time to date somebody? We all know that you are one of the most busiest stars these days, well, you know with all your upcoming movies, product endorsements and businesses", said the news reporter.
"Well, all I can say that it's hard for me to date somebody right now as I'm so busy with all my upcoming projects and with my restaurant, but when I meet somebody that I really like and if he is worth it, I would be sure to make time for that important person in my life. When I date somebody, I don't just see him as a date to pass the time with, but as a future husband and father of my unborn children. I am very serious person and I don't just date for fun, things like that, for me, are just a waste of my precious time", she told the news reporter.
"Well said Violet. And guys you already know what to do if you want to date the beautiful and famous Ms. Violet Sanders. Be serious and never waste her very precious time", said the news reporter.
"Talk about good timing", said he to himself before falling asleep.
He woke up the next morning with his dog, Furball, sleeping at the side of his bed.
"Good morning, Furball, so did you also sleep well last night? I'm sure you did", said he to his dog. He went to the living room where Furball's food and water bowl was located and checked if there's still food and water there.
"Ah, no more food. What a big appetite you have Furball, considering that you are a cute Pomeranian", he muttered as he poured dog food in Furball's empty food bowl and water in his empty water bowl. Ever since he was a child, he already loved the company that dogs give to humans. He grew up having a pet and for him, it's just like having a child in many ways. You get to feed them and care for them and, in return, they give you companionship and loyalty.
He went to his kitchen and opened the door of his refrigerator to check what the contents are but he sees nothing. Then he remembered that he forgot to buy his groceries for the week. Since he was already so hungry, he decided to wear his clothes for going out and went to Cuisine, Violet's restaurant.
"Hi! Good noon sir. Welcome to Cuisine", said the waiter while ushering him to his table and giving him the menu.
He asked the waiter in uniform "What are your specials and best sellers?".
"Well, we have, as our specialty, the Baby Back Ribs and our best seller is the Clam Chowder Soup with Buttered Bread on the side sir", replied the waiter.
"Oh, I'll have both then", he told the waiter. He looked around the restaurant and observed that they have very tasteful, stylish and elegant furniture, tables and chairs. He also noticed that they have glass shelves for cakes, pastries and other desserts. He longs to try some of Violet's desserts later after his meal.
"So, may I ask you where the owner of his restaurant is? I worked with her yesterday and I know that she is very busy, but I was just wondering...where she is?", he asked the waiter.
Just as he finished saying the sentence, Violet came out of the kitchen, her hair were tied in a ponytail, she was wearing an apron and was using very light or almost no make-up at all. He was relieved to see that she was just human like the rest of us after all.
"Hi! I didn't know that you are here", he stammered.
"Well I'm here and this is my restaurant. I like to personally cook the food that we serve every time I don't have any other commitments. I'm glad that you came to have your lunch with us, and it's my pleasure to cook the food that you just ordered. Here's a complimentary mint iced tea to go with your order", said she while pouring him a glass of mint iced tea.
"Wow! It tastes great and it's so refreshing. Thank you very much. I'm really impressed that you personally cook the food. Cooking must really be your passion, I guess. So, what made you decide to choose to set up a restaurant? I mean, there are a lot of other kinds of businesses that you can choose to go into", he asked her.
"Well, I can say that food is a very basic need for all of us and I very much like the thought of never ever going hungry up until I grow old and die. I'm also thinking that once I start my own family, of course I will have the responsibility of serving food for the whole family daily and so I thought why not set up a restaurant and have food ready all the time", said she.
"Good thinking. You really live up to the motto of a girl scout: Always be ready. By the way, I'm also planning to set up my own restaurant in the future. I'm starting to think about what food I'll be serving to our diners. I really like to go into the food business because my sister, brother, mother, father, niece, nephew and cousins, I mean the whole extended family all love to eat. We just love to bond over food. I think the food business is less risky as compared to all other kinds of businesses, as every one of us needs to eat. There are just so many potential customers that I can think of", said he.
"I'd be sure to come and visit your restaurant once it is set up. Good luck in all your endeavors, now if you'll excuse me so that I can finish cooking the food that you ordered", said she to him.
"Sure, go ahead. My stomach is already growling and I'm so excited to taste your Baby Back Ribs and Clam Chowder", he told her.
She went to the kitchen and cooked the food while talking to her kitchen assistant. After a few minutes, she came back out.
"The food is ready. It shall be served in a few seconds. Enjoy your meal, Jacob", she told him. She then went back to the kitchen to cook the other customer's order.
Wow, she's really something, he thought. How could a woman like her find time to date a man like him? Well, if she really wants to, then she would find a way. If a person wants to do something, there is always a way, but if a person doesn't want to do something, there is always an excuse.
Before eating, he looked at the menu and found out that they are offering a dessert sampler. He was quite happy that he could taste a lot of dessert just in one order.
"I want to order the dessert sampler, please, to be served later after I finished eating. Thank you", he told the waiter that he called.
He then concentrated on eating the food that he ordered. It was really so delicious. After a few minutes, he was over with eating and just in time the dessert sampler was served. He ate New York Cheesecake, Chocolate Cake, BukoPandan, Ube Halaya (Candied Purple Yam) and Leche Flan.
"Your food was so delicious and so was the dessert", he told Violet just as she came to his table.
"I'm glad you liked the food. I hope that you can come here again next time", said she to him.
"Of course I will. Bye for now Violet, I still have to do my grocery shopping. I'm running out of food at the house. I'll see you next time, I promise", he called out to her while going out of her restaurant.
After eating lunch at her restaurant, he went to the supermarket to buy his weekly food grocery - chicken, beef, fish, shrimps, onion, garlic, tomatoes, potato, rice, bread, some canned foods and milk. He also bought dog food for Furball. Then he went home. He arranged all his groceries in the refrigerator, put the non-perishable in the pantry and went to take Furball out for a walk in the park.
There are lots of people in the park. Most of them are families having picnic in the grass. After a few rounds walking in the park, he sat on the bench with Furball.
"You know what Furball? Today a very beautiful woman cooked my lunch and I simply can't stop falling in love with her. She is everything a man could ever want and I got the feeling that you are going to meet her soon", said he to his dog after giving him treats.
