It seemed like Lili was there one second and gone the next. When I glanced back only moments before, she was on her phone. Then, she disappeared. I checked the other end of the bar, where the guy had been, but he was still there. A part of me wanted to worry about her, but with Jessie’s tongue trailing up my neck, I quickly forgot any concerns I had.

“We should go to your place,” she said when she reached my ear, her teeth pulling on it in a way that had my dick twitching in my jeans.

I shook my head. “Roommates.” It was always my excuse for not taking random hook-ups to my house. Truth was, I didn’t want them to know where I lived. As I’d told Lili, women were crazy. “Your place?”

She leaned away, frowning for a second as she seemed to assess me. “Yeah, but I should warn you, I don’t live alone either.”

I shrugged. “I don’t mind if you don’t.” She smirked and raised an eyebrow, tossing back the last of her drink before pulling me to my feet and heading for the door.

The ride to her house was a blur of wandering hands, intense moans, and the throat clearing of the cab driver when things started to go too far. It slowed us down, but only temporarily.

When we stumbled inside her condo, she was giggling as I struggled to keep us both upright. The lights were on and the sound of a TV floated in from my right.

“Oh good. She’s still awake,” Jessie whispered as she started to lead me through the small entryway. I froze when the figure on the couch came into view. Dirty blonde hair with streaks of red and darker brown weaved through, pulled up in a messy bun, and no makeup on her face — it was all so familiar.

She glanced away from the TV, her eyes widening when they met mine. There was something, anxiety or fear, that jolted my memory. “Zane?”

Jessie, who had just opened her mouth, probably to introduce us, paused. “Wait, you know each other?”

“We’ve met,” I said, not taking my eyes away from Tabitha.

I met Tabitha months ago. Late July, if I remembered correctly. It was just after my divorce had finalized and I was out drinking away the pain, as I normally did. She caught my eye and immediately came over to talk to me. She was eager and easy — I didn’t know the warning signs back then. It wasn’t until we were fucking in the backseat of her car and her boyfriend started pounding on the window that I realized my mistake. She was one of the few that stuck in my memory because I learned some valuable lessons about life that night. For starters, never trust a girl who is
that
eager. More than likely, you’re a revenge fuck and you draw the short straw when you get caught. Also, they want to get caught.

“How’s the boyfriend? Scott, right? Wasn’t that his name?” The memories of a nearly dislocated jaw from his sucker punch while I was still trying to pull up my jeans made the words come out bitter.

Tabitha looked away, embarrassed. “Um, we broke up.”

“You dated Scott?” Jessie asked, her eyes narrowed at Tabitha. “It was Scott you were with when we broke up?”

As the two women stared at one another, I felt the tension in the room through the haze of alcohol. It was hot, but not in a way that was at all appropriate. “I should probably go.” Neither of them so much as blinked to acknowledge that I had spoken.

“I dated Scott, but when I found out he was fucking you behind my back, I went out to find someone else. That’s when I met Zane,” Tabitha said, no hostility in her tone. Her words made my dick twitch as they sunk in. Fuck, they were together at some point
and
they’d shared a guy? It was so wrong of me to wonder if they’d ever been with a guy at the same time, but it was the only thing I could think about.

They both turned toward me then, and I couldn’t decide whether the way they moved in unison was hot or terrifying. My dick was still in charge of my brain apparently, as all I could think about was how much I wanted this to happen.

“Is he as good as he thinks he is?” Jessie asked, her eyes on me but the question clearly directed at Tabitha.

“We didn’t have long before Scott caught us, but he’s definitely worth another go. I wouldn’t turn him down for a round two.”

Holy. Fuck.

I had to be dreaming. That was the only explanation I could come up with as my dick strained against the zipper of my jeans.

Jessie hummed in thought as her eyes ran down my body in obvious appraisal. She stepped closer, running her fingers under my shirt and up my stomach enticingly. “You think you can handle us?”

I could see Tabitha moving into the entryway out of the corner of my eye, but I kept my focus on Jessie. She licked her lips slowly as her fingers continued exploring my skin. “I’d be willing to sacrifice myself in the attempt.”

“Good answer,” Jessie whispered as she rose onto her toes to nip at my lips.

I groaned, enjoying Jessie’s hands as she lowered them. Hooking them in the waistband of my jeans, she pulled me toward the back of the house. I followed without hesitation, smirking as she released me just inside a bedroom and pulled Tabitha, who had followed behind me, to her in a passionate kiss. They made a show of slowly removing each article of clothing from one another. At the sight, it took everything in me not to pull out my cock and start pleasuring myself.

It wasn’t like this was my first time with two women, but there was a definite difference between being with two women who were more interested in having a threesome for shock factor and being with two women who were into each other just as much. As Tabitha leaned her head down, taking one of Jessie’s nipples in her mouth, I couldn’t hold back any longer. Moving forward, I copied Tabitha’s movements on the other breast, causing a moan to escape Jessie.

Jessie grabbed my face, pulling me to her again and kissing me as I felt Tabitha’s hands working on the button of my jeans. At the same time Tabitha started pulling down my jeans and boxers, Jessie leaned away and tugged up my shirt. Damn, the fact that they could work together in such synchronization had my imagination running wild with possibilities.

Before I could even adjust to the temperature of the room, both women were on their knees, faces poised as they worked my cock together. I grabbed a fistful of hair in each hand, trying to hold onto my composure. Tabitha moved, allowing Jessie to take over fully, as she slid beneath her. I could barely see the top of Tabitha’s head between thrusts but what she was doing to Jessie caused her to moan around my cock and the vibrations of it were enough to make me moan loudly.

Pulling away, I grabbed my jeans and removed the condoms from my pocket as the girls made themselves comfortable on the bed. I watched them for a moment, entranced once again as they touched one another in a way that told of familiarity and enjoyment of the other’s form. Just as I might have started to feel like an outsider in the action, Jessie curled her finger at me, motioning for me to join them. I climbed on the bed beside them, shaking my head as Tabitha reached to take the condom from my hand.

I didn’t trust women. Actually, I didn’t really trust anyone anymore, so I wasn’t about to take a chance and let someone else wrap my cock. That was my responsibility. Control freak? Maybe. But I’d be damned if I was going to end up with something I didn’t want. A disease or a kid, either one.

Once I was fully covered, I stayed on my knees, my mouth finding Tabitha’s in a quick, rough kiss. She moaned, her nails digging into my ass as she pulled me closer. I bit her lip before turning her to face where Jessie lay on the bed. Tabitha automatically bent her face, burying it in Jessie’s pussy as I moved to kneel behind her. Running the head of my dick up and down her slit, I was happy to find her ready. She wiggled her ass a little, clearly wanting me inside her. I complied, pushing until my length was completely sheathed in her. She moaned and the sound elicited one from Jessie as well. She buried her hands in the sheets at her side and arched as I started moving, my thrusts into Tabitha making her move rhythmically against Jessie’s clit.

I watched Jessie’s face as I fucked Tabitha, enjoying her reactions as I slowed and quickened our pace. Tabitha’s hand reached up, cupping one of Jessie’s tits and tugging on the nipple. Jessie arched again, screaming as she came. That, I wanted to feel. I pulled out of Tabitha quickly and lifted her so she straddled Jessie’s hips just in front of where I needed. Pulling Jessie’s legs up, I thrust inside of her as she cried out yet again. Feeling the tightening of her muscles as she continued to orgasm was almost enough to send me over. She locked her ankles behind me and I released her legs, reaching forward to pull Tabitha flush against me. I toyed with Tabitha’s clit, holding her tight while I continued to fuck Jessie. When she began to squirm, obviously about to come, I leaned her forward and pulled out of Jessie to take Tabitha once more. Tabitha kissed Jessie deeply while I pumped, bringing her over the edge with me as I released.

Dropping down beside them, I loved the fact that we were all fighting for breath. Even though I knew I had to work tomorrow, I stayed, hoping to be able to go at least a few more rounds with these two.

I was waiting out front when Tony pulled up. As I slid into the passenger seat, he grinned. “Where to?”

“Wherever. I just had to get out of there,” I said, leaning my head back against the headrest and looking out the window as he headed in the general direction of his place.

“Everything okay? I thought you were working tonight,” Tony finally said, breaking the silence. I glanced over, watching as he twisted the knob on the radio between his index and middle finger to lower the volume. It was a weird habit.

“I quit. Why do you do that?” I asked, gesturing to his hands.

“You quit? And do what?”

“Yeah, I quit. Why don’t you use your thumb and index finger to twist the knob like most people?” I was changing the subject, but I didn’t care. I didn’t really want to talk about my job. Truthfully, I was trying not to freak out about the fact that I was without income, yet again.

“Oh.” Tony glanced at his hand and held it up as he came to a stop at a light. “Broke my thumb in a fight when I was in middle school. Had to have surgery on the hand. While it was healing, I just adapted to not using my thumb and it became habit.”

I grabbed his hand, leaving him to drive left-handed as I studied the scar I hadn’t noticed before. “Huh. And it doesn’t interfere with tattooing?”

“Nope. I’m left-handed,” he answered as I released his hand. He turned into the drive and shut off the engine. “Now, you wanna tell me what’s really going on?”

I sighed. I’d met Tony about a week after meeting Tish. I’d only just started to get comfortable around Tish and another guy, covered in tattoos, who was quiet and brooding, seemed too intimidating. When Tish first offered me a job working the front counter at Living Ink, I was too scared to say yes. I was terrified of being around both of them but I quickly learned I had no reason to be. Tish was, even back then, looking out for me. Tony, once I got to know him, was much more likable. But, the unfortunate side effect of friendship, I was learning, was people could read you once they knew you. And they expected you to talk about your life and your problems.

“Can we at least go inside before you start giving me the third degree?” I asked, stalling, but also not wanting to sit outside. It wasn’t that Tish ever came by Tony’s place unannounced, but if he did, I didn’t want to get caught. Tony was well aware that I didn’t want anyone to know about us and he didn’t mind keeping it that way.

Tony chuckled and opened his door, leading me toward the front of the house. Once inside, he went to grab us each a beer and I made my way to the couch. I plopped down, having been here enough times to be comfortable.

As we both sipped from our bottles, I knew he was waiting for me to speak, but I wasn’t really sure where to start.

“Oh, you’ll never guess who came in the shop looking for you,” Tony finally said, smirking.

“Who?” I turned toward him, pulling my knee up a little. His eyes trailed down the length of my bare leg and back to my face. I didn’t feel self-conscious; I never had. I was used to being looked at. I was also comfortable with Tony.

It had only taken about a month after I started working at the shop for Tony and I to end up closing together. He found out that I usually took a cab home if Tish wasn’t working and offered me a ride. If he had been anyone other than Tish’s business partner, I would’ve said no. I wasn’t in a place where I trusted people, but Tish was different. Tish, after all he’d done for me, I trusted completely. Tony made me laugh. He was a bright spot for me when I’d spent so long surrounded by darkness. An easy friendship started between us as we would prank one another at work and shit talk. One night, after a few weeks of that, we were in the shop after close. I was hanging out in his office, waiting for him to finish his paperwork because he’d offered to take me home again, and we ended up kissing. He stopped it and told me that Tish had warned him not to lay a hand on me. That only made it that much more appealing for us both. We may have tried, half-heartedly, to behave ourselves, but it didn’t last. We’ve been hiding out, carrying on for several months now, and the arrangement was working perfectly.

Catching the similarities, I frowned. I’d let Tony in, became friends with him. He was attractive and he made me laugh. He teased me and flirted and it ended up leading us here. Was that what I was expecting from Zane in some fucked up way? That because we were friends and he made me laugh, because we were comfortable with one another, we would end up in the same place?

“Hello?” I blinked at Tony’s hand in front of my face. “You okay?”

“Yeah, sorry,” I said, smiling up at him. “Who came into the shop?”

“You’re all over the place tonight,” he stated, his head tilting to the side as he studied my face. “What gives?”

“Nothing. Just a bad night. Now that we’re friends again, I think Zane has it in his head that I’m going to be his drinking buddy. Going out and watching him pick up chicks is not high on the list of ways I want to spend my time,” I answered honestly.

Tony’s hand, which had been resting on my calf, started sliding up toward my thigh. “I could always distract you…” he teased.

“I was hoping you’d offer,” I said, smirking as I leaned in.

When his mouth found mine, my mind became completely and blissfully focused on the moment at hand. I felt him pull on the zipper of my hoodie before sitting back. His eyebrows lifted as he glanced back up from my chest. “Where’s your shirt?”

I shrugged. “I returned it when I quit my job.”

“Damn. I wish I could’ve seen that,” he said, leaning in to kiss a trail down my neck.

“Don’t worry, unlike the pervs from the bar, you’ll actually get to see what’s under the bra,” I promised. He groaned as his head moved lower.

Using his teeth, he tugged on the cup of my bra, exposing my breasts one at a time before admiring them. “You have great tits. Have I told you that?”

I laughed and he reached forward, covering both with his hands. “Only every time you see them. I believe you’ve even said it in texts when I sent you pictures.”

He groaned and leaned in to wrap his lips around my nipple. “Still true.”

I shrugged out of my hoodie, pulling my arms free before gripping his hair. He moved to the other nipple, giving it the same attention as I tried to wriggle beneath him. His hand moved up my thigh, running over the lacy thong I’d worn tonight in hopes that I would see him. He pulled away, rucking up my skirt with an excited expression.

“Well, this is new,” he stated, his eyes roaming over me intimately as his fingers traced the edges of the lace. I smirked at him and when his eyes met mine, the normally light brown was much darker. He ran his nose up and down the thin material and I moaned loudly. My head dropped back against the couch, causing me to lose the ability to watch him touch me that way. I felt his teeth and tongue, still through the lace, and I fought to keep myself still. My legs locked behind him as he wrapped both arms under my thighs to settle in.

In the months we’d been at this, I’d avoided this intimate of contact. Letting anyone get
that
close was uncomfortable, but I was loosening up as Tony gained more and more of my trust. He knew me, knew my body, and knew just how far he could push each time we were together. I felt the material shift as his fingers swept across my skin and then his tongue returned, starting at my entrance and running straight up to my clit.

“Holy shit,” I groaned, my toes curling as he held my hips in place, not allowing me to scoot away from the intensity of the feeling.

He continued his finely crafted technique, drawing me to the edge of orgasm. Just as I was begging for… something, though I’m not sure what, he slid two fingers inside me. That was all it took. The world was a bright mess of color and I screamed, not caring if his neighbors or anyone else could hear me.

As I blinked away the blurriness from my eyes, his smug expression filled my vision. “You look incredibly sexy coming apart that way. I have to remember to do that more often,” he said, as if I hadn’t stopped him every other time he’d wanted to do that.

“I wouldn’t mind that a bit,” I said, laughing a little at how breathy my voice came out. I sounded worse than drunk, if that were possible.

“Good to know,” he said with a grin, leaning down to capture my mouth. Our bodies aligned and within minutes, the seam of his jeans rubbing against me had me ready for more.

Pushing him back a little, I slipped off the couch as he pulled a condom from his wallet. He removed his jeans and rolled it expertly over his length while watching me strip off the remainder of my clothes with rapt attention. Leaning over him where he sat, I grabbed the hem of his shirt, following it up his body with a trail of licks and kisses until it was gone. I straddled his lap and positioned myself over him before lowering slowly. He grabbed my hips, rolling them forward so my clit ran over his pelvic bone on each pass. This position was new for us and it never ceased to amaze me that someone could take the time to teach something like sex without making the other person feel stupid. But that’s what it was with Tony. Somehow, he knew, though I’d never mentioned it, that before him, sex had always been an obligation for me. He was always coaxing me along, showing me what worked and what didn’t each step of the way — how to get the most pleasure out of my body and how to give the most pleasure to someone else. Sometimes, it was verbal cues, but even then, it was always with praise and always with a very positive end result. Other times, like now, the non-verbal cue was enough.

As I caught on to the pattern, rolling my hips forward as I moved up and back as I came down again, his hands quit directing me, allowing me to set the pace. His fingers ran up my back, carefully skimming over each crevice up my spine until he wound them both into my hair at the base of my neck. Roughly, but not violently, he pulled my face down to kiss me. I had to steady myself, one hand on the back of the couch and the other on his shoulder. As the movement brought us closer, I realized it didn’t take as much of a roll from my hips now. Our rhythm sped, both of us tightening our grips as our bodies took over completely.

Tony growled, the sound rumbling pleasantly through our connected bodies, and his hands moved back to my hips. He held me above him, lifting himself to move faster, and the sound of our bodies, the feel of his control, was all it took. He kept his pace as I cried out, falling completely against him as the euphoria brought with it a wave of exhaustion. He stiffened, a few expletives mixed with my name as he buried himself inside of me completely. Knowing he was finished, I wanted to move off him, but my body felt worn and thoroughly relaxed. His hands started stroking my skin again, up my back to my neck and down again, running along my spine. My breath finally slowed to a normal rate and I caught myself about to doze off on top of him twice.

We both hissed as I moved, disconnecting our bodies and sliding my feet to the floor. I grabbed my phone before I even started to redress, dialing the number of the taxi service I used regularly and holding it to my ear.

“You know, you could always stay,” Tony said as I spouted off his address from memory to the dispatcher. He told me a cab was fifteen minutes away.

“And tell Tish what? That I just happened to randomly be at his best friend’s house and became too tired to function and had to sleep?” I asked, picking up my clothing piece by piece and pulling it back into place.

“You shouldn’t have to tell Tish anything. You’re an adult. He’s not your father,” Tony said, his eyes watching me redress with much less enthusiasm than they had before.

“You know that’s not how it works. If I didn’t come home, he’d worry.” I’d used Tish as my excuse for so long that even I was starting to believe there was no way around it. I knew that if I chose to stay out, if I shot Tish a text right now and said I would be home in the morning, he wouldn’t care. As long as he knew I was okay, he’d be fine. The truth was, I didn’t want to stay. Staying meant more and that was something I didn’t want. Not now, not ever. I’d never been comfortable sharing a bed with anyone and I didn’t see that ever changing.

Tony sighed as I grabbed my beer, downing the last few swallows quickly before leaning over to kiss him. He pulled me in, deepening the kiss and I let him, a part of me wishing I wasn’t who I was. Maybe if I were someone else, if things were different, I could stay. But he didn’t really want me. He had other girls, some I knew about and probably some I didn’t, that knew more than I did about sex. They also probably stayed with him when they were over. It didn’t bother me. I knew our arrangement was strictly friends with benefits and so did he.
