“Twiggy, over the next few days can you sort this out. Work with Dec and find a neutral spot where all the MC Presidents can come. Also speak to Sinbad and have him attend the meeting.”

“On it Prez.”

Damn it, I’ve only just returned from Blue River and wanted to spend time with Ivy, and now it looks as though I’m going to be on the road for a few more days.

“Okay, now that’s sorted. I need you all to think about voting in Fraggle and Quick-Draw over the next couple of weeks. And we’ll also need to keep an eye out for a couple of new prospects.”

When the meeting was over, Inferno dropped the gravel and soon the room was deserted, leaving only Linc and myself behind.

“Problems?”

“A small one. I need Quick-Draw to continue helping Ivy out while I’m on the road, and we could do with sending a couple of men down to Bear.”

“Sundance and Chilli will go to Bear’s and you keep Quick Draw for as long as you need him.”

“Thanks VP.”

Normally after a run, I would have unwound with one of the whore’s in my room upstairs. However, knowing that time with Ivy was limited, I left the club after a quick beer, telling Twiggy to meet me at Ma’s house early. As I was making my getaway, Inferno joined me at the main door.

“Aren’t you Stopping Prez.?”

“I’m on my way over to Tie me Down. Care to join me.”

“Not tonight.”

Inferno’s mocking laughter was grating against my shoulders as it followed me into the humid night. Without looking back, I flipped him the bird. All it would take was one phone call, and I could have the laughter quickly removed from his face. However, tonight I’m feeling generous and let it go by.

With my lady between my legs, I felt the rumble of the engine as it vibrated against my inner thigh. I loved this piece of steel. The power and freedom, which came with it, was a bonus I didn’t take for granted. As I expertly took the streets, it wasn’t long before I had the bike parked next to Ma’s sedan. While Ma’s away, I’ll hunt the keys out and give Ivy the use of the vehicle.

With a low whistle, satisfied at my second generosity of the night, I dismounted the bike, and went in search of my little goddess. When I found her, I hadn’t expected to find Quick- Draw, sat on a chair, his hands held apart while Ivy balled up yarn, which was wrapped around his palm. Neither, Ivy nor the Prospect spared me a glance as I went to sit beside Ivy on the deep blue couch. Pa was in his chair, watching John Wayne. Whenever I looked at Pa, sadness would fill me. As a child, he had been indestructible. Now the man I once knew was fading fast.

“Hey, what’s up?”

Ivy’s sweet voice drags me back to the present, and I tear my gaze away from my father. As much as I wanted some alone time with Ivy, I was aware that it wasn’t going to be tonight.

“Quick-Draw, why don’t you go to the club and we’ll see you tomorrow.”

When Quick-Draw went to stand, Ivy threw a frown in my direction, before leaning over to the prospect to relieve him of the yarn. Her head turned towards me, and there was a wicked smile playing on her mouth, as silent laughter made her eyes gleam. Shit, what was she up to?

“Hold your hands out Dec.”

About to refuse, I held my hands in the same position, which Quick- Draw had had his. Once Ivy had the yarn in place, she pulled my hands apart until the yarn was taunt. Again, a giggle escaped the little goddess.

“What.”

“Now I have your hands bound, and you’re not to move.”

From goddess to witch in seconds. I can feel the laughter building up in my chest, all because of the false innocent expression on Ivy’s face. It didn’t bother me that we had an audience, or that Quick-Draw was still here, putting his jacket and cut on before leaving. With the lightness in my head, caused by the gleam in Ivy’s brown eyes, I swooped my head down to hers and kissed the open mouth. It was a fleeting kiss, one where our lips barely touched, yet a shudder of arousal, spiked directly to my cock.

“Dec, I told you not to move.”

“You have to be more specific than that Ivy. I was under the impression you meant just my hands.”

With a “humph.” Ivy sat back, her head resting on the back of the couch as she watched me. Her gaze mutinous. Quick-Draw’s loud chuckle and bye, reminds me we weren’t alone, and over the top of the couch, I watch as he leaves for the night.

“How was he?”

Ivy’s gaze was firmly on me, a little sadness replacing the happiness, which had been present a moment ago.

“Who?”

With a slight frown at the confusing answer, I lock my gaze on to Ivy.

“Pa.”

Ivy shuffles in her seat, and the sound of my voice must have penetrated Pa’s thoughts, because he looked over at me, his eyes squinting as he brought me into focus.

“Is that you John?”

“No Pa, it’s me Dec.”

Reluctantly, I left Ivy to go and talk to Pa until he resettled. While I had been sitting with my old man, Ivy had slipped into the kitchen and prepared a quick supper for the three of us. Although we eat in silence, it wasn’t an uncomfortable experience. After supper, I returned to my position next to Ivy and picked up the yarn.

“Dec?”

“Yeah, Ivy.”

“You’re quiet.”

“I was just thinking.”

“About what.”

“You and me.”

Before Ivy, can answer I place my finger over her lips.

“I need an answer about you and me. I’m going back on the road tomorrow. I’ll be back for the party. You have until then.”

“Thanks Dec.”

I wasn’t going to make this easy for the redheaded witch and seeing that Pa had drifted to sleep, I dropped the yarn from my grasp and pulled Ivy into my arms. Searching and finding her mouth. I kiss her. This is no soft, easy kiss. It’s hard and demanding. My tongue fights for dominance with hers. As our tongues battle, I push Ivy down until she is lying flat on the couch and shuffle my body in-between her legs and give a gentle thrust of my hips. Ivy’s groan has the blood burning in my cock, and with regret, I pull back.

“Friday Ivy.”

Twiggy and I arrived at The River Demon’s club late morning. The place was a hive of activity, whilst most clubhouses, where structures on land. The River Demon’s used an old riverboat. The president of the club was standing on the bayou, tinkering with his bike, whilst his vice president, was leaning against a fence, smoking, his eyes covered by a set of shades and a bandana was tied around his head. Although I couldn’t see his eyes, I was aware that he was watching me, and that he had muttered under his breath to the president, who hadn’t dignified us with a look as he carried on fixing the Harley.

“Bastion, Damian.”

“Twiggy.”

“You’re a long way from home.”

“I would like to say this is a social call, but it's not.”

By now, Damian, has finished wiping his hands and has dropped the rag onto the ground. With a dig at Bastion, he grins at me, and then grabs me in a man hug.

“He never rings, he never writes. But when he wants something, I’m the first he calls. What do you think of that Bastion?”

Bastion was handing out beers to Twiggy and myself, which he had snatched from a cooler by his leg. His own grin bright against his tanned skin. Large white teeth flashed as he slapped Twiggy on the back, causing the giant to stumble.

“Bastion you old bastard. Is that a pouch you’re carrying?”

Sebastian rubs his flat stomach, before delivering a heavy punch to Twiggy’s own stomach.

“Fuck man you could do with losing a pound or two.”

“I knew there was a reason we kept them separate.”

Damian’s voice broke over me, as I watched the cousins fight. Born on different sides of the river, the cousins had joined different MC’s, and Devil’s Comfort was lucky to have acquired Twiggy as a brother.

“I take it you’ve heard of the trouble Sinbad and The Scarlet Runners are having?”

Damian points towards the boat as we step away from the Harleys, while, Twiggy and Bastion, join us in the rear. Once we’re on the boat, Damian leads us to a room, away from the noise of a party, which was happening in the main room, and where we find Leon, The River Demon’s own Sergeant at Arms, going through some books.

As we take our places round the table, Damian answers my question.

“Yeah, we heard.”

With a nod, I tell him about Inferno’s request for a meeting with the other MC’s including Black County. By the time, we leave; we have The River Demon’s on board.

Chapter 11

When I agreed to return to Comfort Springs, deep down, I had thought Dec would be underfoot. That he would be at his parents’ home more than he would be at the club, especially after discovering that he was staying here until his father had settled. Yet since our return a week ago, I have seen little of the biker.

While he has been on the road, Dec has rung several times. The conversations were always impersonal, with Dec mainly enquiring after his Pa. There was none of the usual sexual banter, which Dec is constantly exposing me too. Neither has he tried to persuade me in my decision about taking our relationship further. A smile flicks across my face, as I think of Dec and myself in a relationship.

I don’t know how Mary copes with William. No one had prepared me for the mood swings, which William is prone to, or how upset he can become. At times like these, if I wasn’t able to get a hold of Dec, I had turned to Tabby. Just the sound of his sons’ voices was enough to calm him. Also, Mary would ring several times a day and chat to him. It was usually after these calls William became the most agitated.

I was also indebted to Quick-Draw for his help. Especially when it came to doing the personal stuff for William. This is when William would fight me the hardest. Yet, as the week slowly came to an end, William was becoming used to me. Although he still fretted, this has begun to become less frequent.

Tonight I was having my first break away from the house, and I was looking forward to getting out and seeing the ladies. The girls have put on a “party” for me, welcoming me back to Comfort Springs. This time when I leave, it’s going to break my heart. These people were slowly drawing me in, causing me to think about putting down roots. I’m not sure how I feel about this. How hard it was going to be for me to break away from Comfort Springs.

A knock on my bedroom door has me spinning towards it as it opened and Dec walked in. My heart did it again, it skipped a beat.

“I didn’t hear you return.”

“You were in the shower when I arrived, and I guess you didn’t hear the shower when I was in it.”

Dec must have taken his shower while I was drying my hair. As I took my first good look of him, for the first time in days, I realized how much I missed him. To cover my emotions, I collected my jacket off the bed, and headed for the door.”

“You can’t just walk into my room without being invited Dec.”

Dec’s rumbling laughter vibrated down my back, and as I passed him, he grabbed me by the arm, his head lowering down to mine.

“How about a welcome home kiss Ivy?”

Dec’s lips are covering mine before I have time to answer. The kiss is a sweet homecoming kiss and I couldn’t prevent myself from stepping closer into his body as his arms wrapped tightly around my back. Slowly Dec began to insert one of his legs in-between mine and before the kiss could go any further, I stepped away. I had to; otherwise, we would have found ourselves back in my room.

Fraggle, who had volunteered to watch William while we went to the party, stood at the living room door. A silly grin spread across his face. I guess he must have seen the kiss. Deciding not to acknowledge him, I went and stood on the stoop outside as I waited for Dec, who was giving final instructions to the prospect.

Whoever said nothing changes was right. As I walked through the double doors of the club, the music and smoke hit you full force. Yet amongst all this, there was a banner splashed across the bar, clearly stating ‘Welcome Home’. There was also a scattering of balloons around the room, bouncing gently on string tied to chairs, hitting the ceiling. Familiar faces were also dotted across the room. Behind me, with his hand on the base of my spine was Dec. Thankfully, as I walked across the room to the table which was occupied by Baby Blu and Ellie, no-one seemed to be aware of Dec’s territorial hold. As soon as I was seated, Dec left the small group and made his way to the bar. Baby Blu and Ellie’s eyes were on me, and both of them were wearing silly grins.

“Get over yourselves.”

“No way Babe. We’re going to watch and see if you can tame the bad boy.”

Ellie’s remark has me looking at the biker, and I wonder if I want him tamed. If he lost his edge of danger, would I lose interest in the man? I wanted Dec. There was nothing I could do to change that. Since our first meeting outside the library, I’ve craved for the biker and his touch.

“I don’t want him tame.”

“You don’t?”

“Would you change Inferno?”

As I ask my question, Baby Blu’s eyes scan the room, finally coming to rest on Inferno, who was chatting to Sundance. With a sip of her Virgin Bloody Mary, Baby Blu gave a shake of her head.

“I just disposed of a few of his kinks, and then he was fine.”

Ellie spluttered into her drink as we both looked at Baby Blu, trying to figure out if she had used the work kink on purpose. Innocent eyes met mine and after lulling over the idea, I decided to drop the subject. Ellie however wasn’t going to let the matter go.

“I wouldn’t change Nick’s kinks for anything. Although I am trying to knock his rough edges out of him.”

“Ah, a bit of kink keeps the bedroom warm.”

While Ellie had been speaking, Cassie and Rayven had appeared, settling into a couple of spare chairs, which were placed round the table. Dec also appeared with a beer, placing it in front of me, before he went and joined Inferno and Sundance. Grateful for the beer, I took a sip and prayed that Dec hadn’t heard the tail end of Cassie’s remark.

“Yeah, I know what you mean. Tabby’s Kink keeps me hot.”

As I take a look around the table, four sets of eyes glare back at me, convincing me they were ganging up on me. I’d never talked to the ladies about their sex lives, yet if I was to take Dec up on his offer, each and every one of them would be aware of what Dec and I were doing. It was time to move the conversation away from the bedroom and I knew just how to do that.

“Come on ladies lets rock this boat.”

The table erupted into laughter as each of them stood, and made their way over to the dance floor, which had been installed while I was away.

“What did you have to do to get the dance floor fitted Baby Blu?”

At Baby Blu’s secret smile and Cassie’s laugh, I wish I hadn’t asked. Damn, I was supposed to be taking their minds off sex, not reminding them. The evening was soon underway and everyone was becoming a little merry. As the early evening faded away to early morning, the ladies old men came and drew them onto the dance floor. As I looked around the room for a dance partner, Dec came and stood beside me pulling my chair out.

About to rise and join him on the floor, the main doors to the club opened and Twiggy came in with Yvette. Although no-one noticed my arrival with Dec, Twiggy, and Yvette’s arrival gained attention, causing Dec to curse under his breath. Confused by his attitude, I glance at him, silently throwing a question in his direction. Dec just shook his head and cursed again, while watching Fudge make his way over to the newcomers. The expression on his face showing his displeasure.

Even from where I was standing, I could tell Fudge and Twiggy ware having some kind of disagreement. As the men continued with their argument, Yvette was clearly becoming unsettled, her eyes flickering around the room as the other bikers watched the exchange. Concerned for the young woman, I went to make my way towards her, when Dec’s hand reached out and grabbed me by the arm.

“Keep out of it Ivy.”

I have no intention of keeping out of it. The men were clearly embarrassing Yvette, and all I was going to do, was take her away from their vicinity. With a hard pull of my arm, I freed myself of Dec and walked over to the young woman. As soon as I was close enough, I reached for her hand and led her back to the table we were using. Now that I was close to her, it was easy to see the blush under her makeup.

“I told Twiggy not to bring me. But he wouldn’t listen.”

“Yvette, this is my party and I asked Twiggy to bring you after you turned me down.”

“You shouldn’t have Ivy. Fudge has me banned from the club.”

“Why?”

Men are fuck ups. There just wasn’t any easier way to say it.

“Because of my connection to Tats and what I did to Ellie.”

“And haven’t I forgiven you?”

“You may have Ellie, but Fudge hasn’t.”

“Well, he needs to get over himself. He brought you back for a new start and that’s what we’ll give you.”

Yvette smiled weakly at the woman, and then her eyes flew back to the two arguing bikers, who were in the midst of a fight. With all eyes on the fight between the club’s Road Manager and War Lord, I watched Dec as he and Linc climbed into the middle of the fight, pulling the two fighters apart. Tonight Dec wanted an answer from me, and with the whirlpool going madly in my stomach, I was ready.

“There’s never a dull moment in this place.”

Cassie had come to stand beside me, her smiling eyes watching Linc. Yeah, never a dull moment. With the fight over, Dec gave his body a shake and smiled from across the room to me. Shit, my stomach has just left me. By the time, I was finished with Dec he wasn’t going to be the conceited man who is standing before me right now.

“Ivy.”

“Dec we need to talk.”

“Fine, we’ll go to my room, I kept it on.”

Being alone with Dec in his room was the last thing that I needed and I gave a shake of my head. Dec’s eyes searched the room, before returning to me.

“How about the club’s office.”

“Okay.”

I should be fine in there. What could he do in there, while everyone was out here? The office is a small room, with several steel cabinets pushed against one wall, an old armchair, sits in a far corner, while two leather office chairs, which had seen better days, sat on opposite sides of the table. The click of the door closing draws me back to Dec, who is leaning against the door, his foot, crossed over his ankle. A smile on his face. The bastard thinks he has won; well, I wasn’t going to make it easy for him.

“Okay Dec, I’ll play your game and take you to my bed.”

Slowly Dec raises from the door, his body stretching to its full six foot three.

“That’s generous of you Ivy.”

“Dec don’t mess it up, otherwise I’m walking.”

This time, Dec nods his head.

“While I’m in Comfort Springs, I’ll be your submissive to your dominance. However, that only applies in the bedroom. Any other time, I’m my own person and I’ll not take any crap from you. In company you will treat me with respect.”

I’ve seen the way he treats the whores. How grateful they are to him when he wants one of them, otherwise any other time, he ignores them. Dec gives a nod of his head.

“When I leave Comfort Springs you don’t stop me Dec, and you don’t come after me.”

“Ivy, if I get you out of my system. I can guarantee you that I’ll neither stop you nor follow you.”

“You also stay faithful to me during our affair. No other skanks.”

“Ivy, at the moment you are more than enough for me. There’ll be no other women while you grace my bed. Oh, and Ivy.”

With my churning stomach and dry throat, I locked gazes with Dec. The green of his eyes, ice as he makes his point.

“There’ll not be sex in just the bedroom. When I want you, you’ll come to me and be ready.”

I shouldn’t really be turned on just by his voice, but my panties were already becoming wet and I had to clench myself to stop the mini orgasm. Now that Dec has promised that there will be only me, I give him a nod and head back to the party.
