“I came to see you. Look, I don’t want to talk about this here,” she said.

As he and Bevelyn were talking, Maurice’s cell phone vibrated. “Is that Aiden?” she asked.

Maurice did not respond. “The DNA results will be delivered in 30,” the message read.

“You know what, Bevelyn? You’re right. Let’s go home and talk about it,” he said.

She smiled, feeling as though she had a chance of manipulating him about Joe’s will.

They arrived home, and Maurice made sure to keep the conversation in the living room.

“Are you going back to work?” she asked.

“I took the rest of the day off. I felt it would be a rather interesting day,” he said.

Confused, she looked at him.

“Maurice, I cannot explain to you why Joseph did what he did. He only told me that he did not have biological children of his own, and he wanted them,” she told him.

“Is that so?” he said while looking at the clock.

“Why did you marry me, Maurice?” she asked.

He turned to her. “Bevelyn, you really do not want to know the answer to that question. Trust me, you don’t.”

She looked at him with a blank stare.

“Well, Maurice, do you have a sex appetite or not? I mean, you have pussy lying beside you every night, and you don’t touch me. I can’t understand a sex appetite like yours rejecting me,” she said.

“Where in the hell did that come from, Bevelyn? Your ass is crazy.”

The doorbell rang, and Maurice jumped up. He walked over to the door to receive a package.

“Looks like we will know right now who the father is,” he said.

Bevelyn immediately stood up. “What do you mean by that?” she asked.

“It seems some DNA results have come in. Did you order them?” he asked. She was puzzled because she knew her results were not going to be in for another week.

“No, I did not. Did you?” she asked.

“Maybe.”

She started coughing and pretending she had to vomit. She snatched up her cell phone and ran to the bathroom in the bedroom. Maurice followed her and stood by the door. “Open the damn door, Bevelyn, the truth is here.”

She started texting, “Did you send any results?” She continued to cough, waiting on the reply.

“No, still working on it,” the reply said. She stood straight up. “Oh shit!” she said.

Bevelyn ran water in the sink as though washing her face and hands. When she walked out of the door, Maurice was sitting on the bed with the envelope open.

“I’m sorry, Bevelyn,” he said.

“Sorry?”

“Yes, I am sorry. The results say they’re mine.”

She walked over to him to read the results: “99.96% probability of paternity.”

“I was trying to tell you, but you just did not want to hear it,” she said. “Yeah.”

She looked at the envelope on the bed and noticed another piece of paper.

“Is that the other one?” she asked.

“Yes, I don’t even need to see it. They’re mine,” he said. He stood up, and she embraced him, but he did not reciprocate.

“I’m going to make a drink,” he said and walked out of the room.

Bevelyn stood in one spot, excited to know that the children did, in fact, belong to Maurice. She reached for her phone and texted “Discontinue DNA. It’s taken care of.”

She sat down on the bed and picked up the envelope. She pulled out the second results: “0.01%, probability of paternity,” it read.

Her eyes became large as she looked at the results. “What the fuck! That cannot be possible,” she said. She could hear Maurice as he walked down the hallway. She began to scramble, trying to find somewhere to put the results. She picked up her pocketbook, folded the letter, and placed it in a book she had been reading.

“Bevelyn, we need to talk. I want to take care of my kids, but we need to talk,” he said.

“You love Aiden,” she said.

He looked at her. “Yes, I do,” he said.

Maurice arrived at work, and when he got out of the car, a man approached him. “Follow me,” the man said as he led Maurice to a black vehicle with very dark tinted windows. The man opened the passenger door, and Maurice got into the car. The man went to the driver’s side and sat down.

“What are you doing?” a voice asked from behind Maurice.

“What do you mean, what am I doing?” Maurice asked without turning to look in the direction of the voice.

“You have clearly lost focus on why you are here. I gave you more than enough time. You have a mission to accomplish. Did you find it?” the voice asked.

“No, it has been very difficult getting close—” Maurice started to say.

“No,
you
got too close. You have lost sight of what your job is,” the voice said.

“I have everything under control,” Maurice said as he opened the door.

Maurice walked into his office, sat down, and texted one of his regular visitors. She texted back that she was arriving at the hospital and would be in x-ray within five minutes. He saw the panic button flashing. “She got here fast,” he thought as he headed to the changing room. As he was walking, he saw a tall, beautiful, full-lipped woman walking toward him.

“You usually wait until I get inside, Maurice,” she said.

“Do me a favor, have a seat in the waiting room. Let me check on this patient,” he told her.

She walked into the waiting room and sat down.

Maurice walked into the changing room to see Aiden standing in front of him. He immediately walked up to her and gave her a hug.

“Aiden, I’ve missed you so much!“ he said. “Where have you been? Are you OK?”

“Yes, I needed to take some time to myself and get myself together,” she said.

He continued to embrace her.

“Maurice, I realized how much I love you while I was gone. I’m in this for the long haul,” she said.

She began to pull at his shirt as he caressed her body. He began to run his hands under her blouse and rub her breasts.

“I am too. I told Bevelyn that I love you,” he said

“You did?” she said with excitement.

“Yes, I had a DNA test done. The girls are mine, so I’ll take care of them, but I want you. I have to make sure this is easy for them. Can whatever I broke be fixed?”

She slid her hands down his smocks to touch his dick.

“Nothing is broken, baby, did
he
miss me?” she said while rubbing his dick.

“Hell yeah. Can I just see it?” he asked.

She unbuttoned her pants and pulled them down. He placed a gown on the chair for her to sit on. She sat down on the chair, and he knelt down in front of her.

“It’s too tight in here, Maurice,” she said.

“I know. I just want to look at it.”

She lifted her legs up, and he used his fingers to open her pussy. He stared as he fondled around her clit and stuck his index finger in. He spread her pussy apart and rubbed her pussy, watching it begin to glisten and become wet.

“Stop, Maurice. I don’t want to do that here. Not this time,” she said. “Meet me at the house around eight.”

“OK,” he said even though his dick was rock hard. He leaned in and put his nose against her pussy. He took a deep breath in to smell her pussy. She looked at the top of his head as he inhaled the smell of
her. He took his tongue and gave her one long stroke along her pussy and then got up.

Bevelyn walked into the x-ray room, asking Maurice’s whereabouts. She had her normal attitude, and everyone was walking around, whispering about her behavior. Sheila walked out from the back.

“Bevelyn, what’s going on?” she asked.

“I’m looking for my husband,” she said.

“Sit here in the waiting room, and I’ll see if I can find him for you.”

Bevelyn walked to the crowded waiting room and noticed a seat beside the woman waiting to see Maurice. She looked at the woman and rolled her eyes as though jealous of her beauty. She picked up her phone and started to text Maurice. When she opened her phone, the woman noticed the picture of Maurice on the phone. The woman looked at Bevelyn as if studying her face and then got up and left. Bevelyn texted Maurice, and while she was placing her phone back in her purse, she ran her hand across a book. When she pulled the book out, she saw the top of the DNA results sticking out. “I have to get rid of this,” she thought.

Sheila was walking down the hall when she noticed Aiden walking out of the changing room and heading in the direction of the break room. She stood there and watched until she saw Maurice walk out of the changing room. He turned toward her and began walking down the hallway. He walked past her, and she said, “Your wife is in the waiting room. You may want to stay clear.”

Maurice, shocked that Sheila would give him a heads-up, thanked her and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

She watched as he walked in the opposite direction of the waiting room and then smiled sinisterly. She quickly walked to the break room and opened the door to see Aiden washing her hands. She then headed to the waiting room to Bevelyn.

“I just saw him go into the break room,” she told Bevelyn.

“Did you tell him I was here?” Bevelyn asked.

“No, he doesn’t know, but you may need to hurry,” she told Bevelyn.

Bevelyn grabbed her purse and book and headed to the break room. When she opened the door, Aiden was just walking out.

“Just who I need to see,” Aiden said.

“Is that so? Bevelyn asked.

Bevelyn walked over to a table and sat down. She hung her purse on the back of her chair and sat her book directly in front of her. With her drink in hand, Aiden sat in front of Bevelyn.

“Do you know how much of a trifling bitch you are? Fucking me and my husband?” Bevelyn asked.

“Your husband?” Aiden said.

“Yes,
my
husband. He is
mine
, not yours. You’re just a little piece on the side that sucks his dick when he wants it. You are
not
his wife. I’m going to tell you nicely, Aiden, stay the hell away from my husband!” Bevelyn said.

“You can
tell
me all you like. He and I will do whatever we choose. I love him, and he loves me. Didn’t he tell you that?” Aiden asked.

Bevelyn became visibly upset about her comment. “Everyone is entitled to be delusional, Aiden. Now I will tell you this one more time: stay the hell away from
my
husband! If I see you near him or speaking to him, I’m going to—”

“You’re going to do what? Not a damn thing. You must have forgot that you were fucking my father. Now let me give
you
a warning: you have absolutely no idea who
you’re
dealing with. You do not want to cross my path,” Aiden said.

“Oh, I think I know exactly who I’m dealing with,” Bevelyn said.

Aiden stood up to leave and walked over to Bevelyn. “When you suck his dick, it should taste familiar; it should taste like the pussy you used to eat. Don’t fuck with me,” she said as she walked out the door.

“She’s back,” Sheila said into the phone as she watched Aiden and Bevelyn coming out of the break room. Bevelyn turned to see Sheila standing there and started heading to her.

“Hey Bevelyn, did you find Maurice?” Sheila asked while putting the phone away.

“No, actually, I didn’t,” Bevelyn said.

Bevelyn’s phone started to ring. It was Les calling to confirm that she was still available for drinks that evening. She told Les she may bring a friend with her. “Great! The more the merrier,” he said.

As Bevelyn was talking to Les, Sheila noticed Aiden walking back into the break room.

Aiden was going to get her drink when she noticed Bevelyn had left her book on the table. She noticed the paper sticking out. She picked up the book and began to read the results from the paternity test. “Look what we have here.” she said. She took the paper, put it in her purse, and left the break room.

“Do you want to hang out with me and a friend this evening?” Bevelyn asked Sheila.

“Sure. I’m headed to the diner now, would you like to join me for a quick lunch?”

“Sure.”

Bevelyn looked in her purse for her keys and realized the book was not in her purse.

“I left something in the break room,” she said. “Let me grab it real quick.”

Bevelyn hurried to the break room to see a housekeeper had placed the book on the counter. She looked through the book and did not see the DNA results.
