Before Furi could respond, he noticed
Syn had passed their exit. “Hey. You're so horny that you missed
your exit.”

I told you, I have to
handle something.”

Syn,” Furi growled and
closed his eyes. “Do you know where Patrick and his brother are
staying?”

Of course I do. I’m a
detective aren’t I?” Syn was completely serious when he looked at
him.

Syn. I don’t like this.
Come on, we had a nice evening, let's go back to your place so I
can fuck you and show you how much I appreciate it,” Furi purred
hoping to deter his determined date.

Just relax. I promise
this will be quick and painless.”

Oh my god, oh my god, oh
my god.” Furi slouched down in the seat, willing himself to
disappear. Much as he would love to see his big bad boyfriend kick
his ex’s ass, he just wanted Patrick and Brenden out of his fucking
life. He didn’t ever want to see them again.

Payback’s
a Bitch’

Syn was smiling so hard on the inside.
Furi was slouched in the passenger seat looking like he wanted to
be anywhere but in the car with him right now. He’d told Furi he
was going to handle this for him and he meant it. Syn was done
playing games.

After twenty minutes of silence, they
turned on to a long winding street lined with large contemporary
style homes each backed up against a large man-made lake. Syn cut
his lights off as he eased past an impressive, two-story brick
house with a "U" shaped driveway. He didn’t see any vehicles and
assumed they must be in the attached two-car garage. He cut the
engine, reached over and took his Mini Maglite, Sig Sauer, and a
pocket-sized canvas case from the glove box and tucked them all in
the front of his waistband.

Syn this is fuckin’
crazy. I’m not doing this. Hell no! Let’s go, now!” Furi
barked.

Shhh. Babe, you’re way
too loud. Now stop yelling at me, get out, and don’t slam your
door,” Syn whispered, already out and pushing his door quietly
shut.

Furi looked at him like he was nuts.
Holy hell, was he now discovering that Syn was psycho? Syn lightly
tapped on Furi’s window, his frayed nerves causing him to
jump.

Come on, babe. I promise
it’s gonna be alright. You said you trusted me.” Syn smiled
devilishly.

Furi cracked his window so Syn could
hear him clearly. “I do trust you, but–”

There are no buts in
trust,” Syn cut him off. “Show me you trust me completely out here.
I trust you in the bedroom. No ifs ands or buts. I let you show me
what I need, even when I don’t know I need it.”

Damnit
. Okay that made sense but this was by far the craziest, most
dangerous thing he’d ever done. Because he had a sneaking suspicion
that Syn wasn’t going to the front door to politely ring the bell.
Furi got out slowly and eased the door closed behind him. Syn held
out his hand and Furi hesitated slightly before he clasped it with
his. Syn took off at an easy jog going around to the back of the
house. The backyard was open, no fence; the beautiful view of the
lake beyond completely unobstructed. The patio furniture was
expensive, but what was more impressive was the screened-in
wraparound porch.

That’s how we get in,”
Syn whispered.

What happens when the
alarm goes off? I'm sure they have guns in there. We’re gonna get
shot!” Furi yelled.

If you don’t shut up,
I’ll shoot you myself.” Furi knew Syn was joking because he was
having a hard time holding in his laughter as he turned and quickly
kissed him. He pulled Furi to the door and dug in his waistband,
pulling out the small canvas pouch.

What’s that?” Furi
whispered crouching down by the door.

Syn chuckled at him. “Why are you down
there?”

I don’t want to be seen.”
Furi’s hands shook so he braced them on his thighs.

But there’s no cameras
babe.” Syn grinned.

Is this fun for you? Is
this how you get your kicks?” Furi stared at him.

Syn bent down and whispered in his
ear. “You know damn well how I get my kicks.”

Furi wished his body didn’t respond to
Syn’s throaty growl but it did. Syn in stealth mode was making his
cock jump. His worn black leather coat was zipped up, just
revealing the collar of his thin black sweater. Syn’s jeans were
dark blue and hugging him deliciously. Finishing off the sexy
outfit were camel-colored Timberland boots. This was as dressed up
as Syn got and Furi loved it.

Syn worked a tool into the
traditional-style wooden framed screen door. There was a soft click
and Syn turned to him with a shit-eating grin. He pulled the door
open slowly and they walked into a porch that looked more like a
living room. It had modern wicker couches with plush outdoor
cushions. A large television was in the far corner, along with a
refrigerator and mini bar. There was abstract art on the
wall.
Hmm. Nice.

Furi was still looking around while
Syn was standing at a larger, more secure door, unscrewing the face
of an alarm panel. Furi hurried over to him. “Do you know what
you’re doing? What if you fuck it up and the alarm goes off and we
get locked in here?”

Well thanks for the vote
of confidence babe. You’re not a very good wingman, you know
that?”

You mean accomplice,”
Furi corrected. “Sorry but no I’m not.”

We've got limited time
and something needs to be done. So I have to act quickly. I’m the
guard baby; you’re supposed to back me down in the paint,” Syn said
calmly as he pulled different colored wires out of the box on the
wall.

I’m supposed to do what?”
Furi’s brow furrowed. “In the paint? What the hell are you talking
about?”

Basketball. You know, the
area below the free throw line and between the lane lines. If I’m
going in for the shot I need you to back me up,” Syn said all that
nonsense – which was what it sounded like to Furi - while taking
out some mini scissors and clipping two wires.

Done. And now ..." Syn
worked two ultra-thin metal tools in the bolt lock and the
doorknob. Turning one tool clockwise and the other counterclockwise
the lock clicked and Syn turned the knob, opening the door. Syn
turned, looking at him with so much pride, Furi couldn’t help but
grin.

You’re crazy.” Furi shook
his head still smiling stupidly.

But you like that don’t
you?” Syn whispered.

Whatever.” Furi rolled
his eyes. “Now what?”

Now we go in.” Syn pulled
the Maglite out next and shone it through the door before opening
it fully and walking in. The house was dark and Furi couldn’t see a
thing other than they had come in through the kitchen. It smelled
like an Italian dinner had been cooked that evening as the hints of
garlic and other spices hung heavily in the air. Syn shined the
light downward while he walked slowly across the smooth floor. Furi
hung to his belt loop so as not to lose him and bumped into
something in the middle of the floor.

Syn stopped and turned to him. “Quiet,
Furi,” he hissed.

I can fuckin’ see a
thing,” Furi snapped back.

We’re cat burglars baby.
You gotta use your cat vision.” Syn laughed quietly
again.

Furi wasn’t finding any of this funny,
and he couldn’t figure out for the life of him how Syn was having
such a good time, cracking corny jokes and using sports metaphors
that made absolutely no sense.

Calm down, just hold on
to me.”

Furi crowded in close and Syn led them
to the end of the large kitchen and settled onto a stool in front
of a breakfast bar. He left the flashlight on, but put it beam-down
on the counter, submerging them in complete darkness. Furi felt Syn
pulling him between his legs and he tried to resist. “What are you
doing?”

Waiting.”

For what? For them to
come down and get us?” Furi was talking so quietly, afraid of being
caught.

Syn wrapped his arms
around Furi’s waist. “Who is
them
, baby? Where do you think we
are?”

Is this where Patrick and
his brother are staying?” he whispered. His eyes were darting
around, even though he couldn’t see. He just had the feeling
someone was going to knock him in the back of the head.

Syn slid his arms from around him and
Furi heard the sound of a zipper before he was pulled back into
Syn’s warm chest. “I wouldn’t do that. I never want you around him.
Ever. Do you understand me?”

Then whose house are we
in for heaven's–”

Before Furi could finish his sentence,
he heard men’s voices, two of them, coming downstairs. They were
laughing. “Someone I trust, so stop worrying,” Syn said
soothingly.

Someone’s coming.” Furi
was trying to scramble away from Syn.

Shhh. It’s alright. Just
don’t move and don’t make a sound,” Syn whispered against the shell
of his ear. Syn stuck out his tongue and traced it across Furi's
ear lobe before grazing it with his teeth. Furi settled back in,
letting Syn nuzzle his face up under his loose hair.

You always smell so damn
good,” Syn moaned quietly.

Syn,” Furi responded to
the gentle caresses. Syn was running his fingers up his neck and
into his thick brown hair. Massaging his scalp while he licked and
nipped at his neck, sucking the skin just below his ear, drawing
the blood to the surface. Syn was marking him where only he would
see it.

Two men came into the
kitchen, not bothering to turn on the light. One of them opened the
refrigerator; casting a glow across the room and Furi was finally
able to see who it was.
Oh my god.
One man was standing behind the one bent over
looking into the refrigerator. He was grinding his pelvis into his
ass while he grabbed four bottles of water.
Holy shit, is that?
Furi didn’t know
what the hell this was, but he sure wasn’t expecting the scene in
front of him. It was Syn’s funny Lieutenant and the hot cop that
had questioned him when he was brought down to the police
station.
I thought he was with the big
guy.
Is he having an affair?
Furi had a million questions barreling through
his mind but he couldn't voice them, didn’t say a word. Syn was
quiet, his face still buried in Furi’s neck, not bothering to look
up. Any minute they were going to be caught. The Lieutenant closed
the door to the fridge and the room was dark again, but Furi could
clearly hear them kissing and whispering to each other in between
the groaning and heavy breathing. Their sounds of lust echoed
through the blackness. This must’ve really been turning Syn on
because his hands were moving lower to Furi’s ass so he could
slowly grind their hard cocks together. Now that Furi was
relatively sure they weren’t in danger, he listened to the sounds
of the two sexy men about to ravage each other while Syn snaked his
hands down his crease, applying wonderful pressure. It was all so
sneaky and dangerous, Furi was starting to like it ... a
lot.

Furi tensed when he heard two more
deep voices coming down the stairs. "I’m not finished with you
yet," one of the men said to the other, his bass-filled voice laced
with passion. The two men emerged from the hallway and entered the
room. A light switch was flicked on and the sudden brightness was
startling.

Evening gentlemen,” Syn
said from the crook of Furi’s neck, still not bothering to look at
his half-naked bosses and the two other very sexy men.

Holy shit!” Day
yelled.

All eyes were on him and Syn now. Syn
finally looked up and Furi tucked his hair behind his ear rubbing
the area on his neck that Syn had been sucking for the past couple
of minutes. It felt good.

Syn what the fuck, man?”
God’s voice was low and intimidating.

Furi drank in all the exposed male
flesh in front of him. “Well I’ll be damned,” he
whispered.
