“Look
at me when I take you.” He breathed hard. “Look at me as I make you mine, as I
make you come.”

Lena
opened her eyes and looked at Rory.

“You’re
so tight, so hot…” He made a gruff sound. “You’re so mine.”

Those
words uttered from the man she loved had her coming so hard her head kicked
back and hit the door behind her, seeing lights flashing in front of her closed
lids. He ground his pelvis against her, and in three quick pumps later he came
inside of her at the same time her orgasmic high filled her.

When
they were both sated she untangled her legs from around his waist and slowly
slid down the length of his body until her feet touched the floor. He kept hold
of her hips, kept her close to his body, and the sound of his beating heart was
loud right up against her head that rested on his chest.

After
several moments of just standing there he led them to the bed, helped her onto
it, and climbed in behind her.

“I
hope there wasn’t anything in those grocery bags that needed to go in the
fridge.”

She
chuckled and shook her head.

She
didn’t care that she probably should have gotten cleaned up and put the
groceries away, and she especially didn’t care that he was still sweaty. She
just wanted him to be by her and hold her.

“Lena?”
He spoke right up against her ear.

“Yeah,”
she said softly, and turned in his arms so they now faced each other.

“There
isn’t anything in this world I wouldn’t do for you, you know that right?” He
smoothed a stray piece of hair off of her forehead. “That’s how much I love
you.” Rory leaned down and kissed her softly. “I’d do anything for you, baby,
if
only to make you happy.”

She
curled into him even more, wrapped her arms around his damp, hard body, and
closed her eyes. “I love you, too, and you make me happier than I could ever
imagine.”

They
were silent for a minute or two, and then she felt him tighten his hold around
her.

“It’s
you and me, baby. Us against the world.”

“Always.”
And it was the truth, until the end.
