Chapter 19

The party is in full swing and I’m trying my best to keep a watchful eye on Elise, though that’s quite hard. The men love our new outfits and all three of us have our hands full tonight. Elise is proving a hit with the club members, which sickens me. She’s only nineteen for crying out loud!

I spot Chatter walking straight to me and take the glass she passes me. I down the contents and give her back the glass. “Give one to Elise please. She needs it.” Chatter nods and disappears out of sight.

“Let me feel that ass, Raven.” Chaos purrs into my ear from behind.

“It’s all yours.” I fake smile.

This makes him very happy and he takes two handfuls, groaning as he squeezes. He spins me around, swaying to the loud music. He pulls me closer to him, showing me how much he is loving my time by the bulge I feel against me. I don’t show my cringe and continue to dance with him.

“Get me a drink, babe.” He orders and pushes me away.

Biting my tongue, I smile and walk towards the bar. While I’m waiting to be noticed by one of the Devil’s prospects, another girl approaches me. Her name is Tony and unlike me, she’s not forced to be here. She chooses to stay here, latching onto these men like they’re her lifeline. I have no fucking respect for her. She’s not the only one like that, there’s a few of them the same as her, but there are more girls like me around here. Both sets of women hate each other with a passion.

“Raven,” She greets and I don’t answer. I can’t be bothered to deal with her bullshit. “You think you’re so fucking good don’t you?”

I roll my eyes and laugh. “Yep that’s me.”

“I don’t understand why you’re here.” She sneers, like I have the choice to be here.

“What is your problem?” I ask her.

“Since you got here the Prez never asks for me.” She sulks. “You need to back off.”

“Look Tony, I don’t want to be with Prez. In fact I don’t want to be here at all but unlike you, I don’t get that choice.” I stare her down. “If you want him, take him. I really don’t give a shit.”

Her frown lessons and I think she starts to understand where I’m coming from. Out of nowhere, the man himself approaches us. He looks between us, trying to read what’s going on.

“Come with me, Raven.” He demands and begins to walk away.

“What about Tony?” I ask, trying to offer her instead of myself.

Suddenly he spins around and wraps both hands around my neck, pushing my back against the bar. Everyone is watching and my air supply is dying. “How dare you fucking speak to me like that? When I say come with me, I mean you!”

I begin to choke and my eyes widen, just as I think I can’t take anymore he lets go and I take in a much needed breath. I bend over, coughing and wheezing. Great, that’s probably more bruises to add to my collection.

When I stand back up, Demon gives me a healthy slap across my face and I say nothing. “Get on your knees.” He orders and with embarrassment, I do. “Now, you will follow me on your hands and knees or I will fuck you right here in front of everyone.”

I nod, letting him know I will follow his orders. He looks around at everyone while they watch and they quickly return to what they were doing before. As embarrassing as crawling after him is, I do not want him to fuck me in front of everyone here.

Demon begins to walk away and I crawl after him. The dress I am wearing is really short and I don’t have any underwear on, so my pussy is on show for everyone to see anyway. The floor hurts my knees and when we make it to his office they feel like they’re on fire.

Demon slams the door behind me. “How dare you show me up like that?” He roars. “You need to be taught a fucking lesson!”

He takes off his belt and orders me to strip. Sliding the dress down my body, I wait to see what he’s going to do to me but the belt in his hands is a good clue. Straight away he whips his belt across my legs and I close my eyes. I take a deep breath, trying to calm myself but it doesn’t work. While I have my eyes closed, he whips me again and this time it’s harder. So hard, that I fall to the floor.

“Get up!” He shouts and brings the belt down on my back. I try but while he’s whipping me, it’s impossible. “Get up!” He shouts again.

Eventually he stops and I lay on the floor, totally exhausted. I hear him walk toward the back of his office and I know what he’s about to do. I know he has walked over to his desk where his collection of knives lay. When I look up, he’s browsing through them and thinking which to choose.

“Get on the bed.” He tells me. I struggle to get up, but I manage it. Once I’m on there, I don’t know whether I prefer the whipping or this. He’s slicing my skin again and he favours the marks he created the last time as he reopens them.

There’s a loud knock on the door and Chopper shouts. “Prez!”

Demon roars his disappointment but goes to answer. “What?”

“We’re under attack.” Chopper rushes out.

“Who?” Demon asks.

“I don’t know,” Chopper answers.

“Get Raven back to her room, and make sure the others are too.” Demon orders as he collects his guns and walks away.

Chopper struggles to get me out as fast as he can with my weakened state but we eventually get there. I begin to hear guns shooting in the distance and Chopper curses. When we get to my cell, Andrew is chaining Natasha and Elise back up.

“What the fucks going on?” He asks Chopper.

“I don’t fucking know.” He answers while fastening me to my chains. “Prez told me to make sure all the girls are away and to help.”

They both leave, making sure to lock the door. “You ok?” Natasha asks.

“I’ll be fine.” I answer, though I can feel pain all over.

“What’s going on?” She asks me. “Did you see anything?”

“No, I was in Demon’s office and Chopper brought me here.” I wince as I try to get comfy.

A loud explosion makes us all jump, followed by a lot of gun shots.

“It’s my dad.” Elise speaks.

“What?” I ask.

“My dad,” She sounds so sure. “He’s found me.”

Chapter 20

The shooting, banging and shouting is still continuing but it has lessened. Seeing as my chains are secured in the middle of them both, they are huddled on both sides of me and we wait for whatever our fate is.

The music has stopped and I can’t hear laughter anymore. We have been sitting in the cell for some time now and I’ve become really concerned. Not for anyone out there, but for us. If everyone has died out there that knows about us locked and chained in here, then we’re fucked. Natasha eyes me and I know she’s thinking the same.

Suddenly we hear running feet and shuffling coming from the hall leading to this room. We all freeze, waiting to see what’s going to happen. A tear rolls down my cheek and we all scream as there are three loud gunshots.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
A loud thud indicates someone falling to the floor.

“Oh my god,” Natasha whispers.

“Did I just hear someone being killed?” I ask.

“Elise!” I hear a man shouting, which is weird because everyone here apart from Natasha and I, call her Baby. Whoever is out there isn’t from this club.

“Lissy!” I hear another man shout and Elise starts to cry beside me. “Lissy are you here?”

“Daddy!” Elise shouts with a sob. “Dad, I’m in here!”

All of a sudden there’s a lot of banging on the door and I close my eyes from the impact. They continue to shout for Elise and when the door flies open Elise is crying so hard. A large frame blocks the light shining through the door and Elise gasps. “Dad?”

“Lissy.” The man sobs, clearly this man loves her. He runs inside and scoops her up in his arms, not caring about the smell in the room or that Natasha and I are naked. At least Elise was saved from that at the party.

I continue to cry but not out of fear, it’s out of pure emotion at watching Elise reunited with her father.

“Jesus.” Comes from another man in the doorway. “What’s that smell?”

At his comment I cringe. This room does stink, and at first I couldn’t stand it, but after a while you get used to it. We do everything in this room; eat, sleep and use the bucket in the corner as a toilet. There’s no fresh air that comes into this room and we have limited light source flooding from under the door.

Elise’s father holds her tight and cries along with her. I’m in total shock, she said her dad would come for her and I entertained the idea to keep her happy but here he is. He’s a big guy, slightly on the chubby side but not hugely. You can see he kept himself in shape in his younger days. His arms are full of tattoos and like the Devil’s, he wears a leather vest.

“Come on let’s get you out of here.” He goes to pick her up but then realizes she’s in chains. “Fuck!”

“Get the prospect in here.” Orders another member and in runs a battered looking Devil’s prospect. A bunch of keys rattle in his hands and he sets Elise free.

I dare a look at the rest of the men at the door. There’s four of them and they are all big and I’m shocked to say all of them are seriously good looking and I have to look away. They all look pissed and I don’t need to be getting on the wrong side of these other bikers. Elise might say that the Kings’ Motorcycle Club men are good, or at least better than the Devil’s Spawn, but I don’t know that. However, by the way they fuss over Elise and smile when they see that’s she’s alive and now safe. I’m happy for her at least she will get out of here. A girl like Elise doesn’t belong in a place like this.

Elise cries some more and Natasha huddles close to my side. I look at her and see happy tears shining in her eyes and smile.
Soppy bitch.

Her dad begins to carry her out, and Elise starts to protest. “What’s wrong?” Her dad asks her. “We need to get you out of here.”

“My friends.” Elise crouches down in front of us. “I can’t leave without them. They helped me.”

Her dad looks at us in shock. “Shit girls, I’m sorry. I was so focused on my girl here that I didn’t see you.”

I just smile, it’s totally understandable. You could see he was all about Elise and she’s the one he’s here to save. Not us.

“Don’t worry about it.” Natasha answers. “Take her home.”

He shakes his head. “I am not leaving you two here.” He orders the prospects to untie us too.

Out of nowhere, Bomber runs into the room with three large black tops. “Here.” He passes us each one. “These should cover you up.”

We gratefully put them on, and even Elise, who was wearing a dress, is more covered now that she’s wearing the large top.

I’m shocked to see Bomber standing beside these new bikers and he must see it by the look on my face as I stare at him. “I told you I would sort this.” He smiles.

“You told Elise’s dad?” I ask and he nods.

“Come on then girls let’s get you out of this shit hole.” Elise’s dad takes his daughter’s hand and leads her out and the rest of us follow.

The first thing that I see is a dead Chopper lying on the floor, blood surrounding where his head lays and a large bullet hole in his head.

“Fuck.” Natasha curses and I take hold of her hand as we walk, trying to hold back the sickness in my throat.

Another of the new bikers points towards the row of large wooden doors, the same as ours. “These rooms are the same as the one you were in?”

“Yes.” Elise answers but when they open each one, no girls are to be found. Weird, Chopper was supposed to be gathering all the women and making sure we were all locked away.

When we round the corner and start to enter the main areas of the clubhouse, we begin to see a lot of bodies on the ground. Men are lying on tables and awkwardly lying across chairs, all of them are covered in blood. I feel bile rise in my throat again and place a hand over my mouth, but I don’t think I can stop it.

“Oh god,” I gasp and I vomit onto the floor while Natasha rubs my back. I’m not upset about the loss of lives here it’s just seeing the blood that’s affected me.

“She ok?” I hear the British accent and know it has to belong to this new MC. I look up to see the best looking man I have ever set eyes on, and that’s saying something.

“You ok, Lauren?” Natasha asks.

“Yeah, just didn’t expect to see this.” I wipe my mouth and look away from the man. I’ve been through some shit lately, but I’m still a woman. I do not want any person to see me in this way.

“Yeah, they put up a hell of a fight, but we had to get Elise back.” He smiles down at me.  “Come on, let’s get you outside. You don’t need to see this.”

He places a hand on the small of my back and guides me out as I still cling to Natasha’s hand. I stop when I see a certain man lying on the floor. His eyes are wide open, but I know he isn’t alive.

“Oh my god.” I kneel down beside him and feel sadness spread over me. I didn’t know him well, but out of everyone here, this man was probably the most caring one.

I hear feet behind me and the stranger looks down at me, confusion on his face and then behind him I see Bomber. “I’m so sorry.” I say to him and his head drops.

“As soon as Demon found out I was behind this, he put a gun to his head.” He joins me on the floor beside his dad and closes his dad’s eyes. Bomber helps me stand and just as we’re about to leave the clubhouse doors, the very one’s I tried to run out of when I was attending my first club party, a man comes running up to us.

“So, where is Demon?” I dare to ask and by the look on Bomber’s face I know what’s coming. “He got away didn’t he?”

Bomber nods. “Yeah, a few other men did too.”

I bitterly laugh. “Don’t tell me, Strike?”

He nods again. “And Switch.”

This just gets better and better.

“Grim! We found the rest of the girls.” He begins. “They’re all in the back.”

“Let’s go and get them then.” Natasha runs and I follow.

“No wait!” The man tries to stop us, but we go anyways and when we go into the back we know the room he’s talking about because other bikers are staring into it. We join them and what greets us is disgusting. Every woman I have known since I have been here is dead on the floor. Even Tracy, and the other women who were here by choice. Seems we weren’t that far apart on the Devil’s concerns as we thought.

“Let’s get you out of here.” Comes the British man from before. “You don’t need to see this.”

Gunshots sound from outside and suddenly everyone is running towards the front.

“Stay here.” Grim orders us.

Elise, Natasha and I stand alone inside the clubhouse where not so long ago, a party was in full swing.

“You think we should go out there?” Natasha asks.

“Are you crazy?” Elise asks. “We stay inside where we are safe.”

“Alright, biker princess.” Natasha laughs and Elise glares at her.

“Don’t ever call me that.” She crosses her arms and I have to hold back my smile.

“Just like I planned,” a voice comes from behind us and I spin around. When I see Demon, Strike and Twist standing there my heart drops. “A little gun fire sends them all outside, leaving my girls unprotected.”

“We’re not your girls.” Natasha growls.

Demon laughs. “Oh, but you are and I need one of you to come with me.”

Natasha immediately holds onto mine and Elise’s hands. “We’re going nowhere.”

“You will, and unless you do not choose, I will.” He stands so smug, watching us as men shoot at each other outside. My head is spinning everywhere and I don’t know what to think. So much is fucking going on.

“No.” Elise answers. “My dad won’t let you.”

Demon motions to his side, and out walks Andrew holding Chatter in his arms. She has a gun pointed at her head and tears streaming down her face. The poor girl is naked and covered in blood, whether it’s her own or someone else’s, I can’t tell.

“Let her go!” I scream.

“I will, if you choose.” Demon grins.

I look back at the King’s members, shooting away into the distance.

“I wouldn’t go out there if I were you.” Demon boasts. “See, you could get hurt out there and we wouldn’t want that and if you move, Chatter here gets a bullet in the head.”

Chatter whimpers at hearing this. I just don’t know what to do. I don’t want any of us with Demon, but I don’t want Chatter to die.

“They’ve fucking had long enough!” Strike yells.

“Alright,” Demon growls at his vice president. “If you three won’t choose, I will.” He looks at us all, thinking over his options and then with open arms he looks right at me. “Raven, come here.”

Natasha grips harder onto my hand. “No.”

I look at her desperately. “I have to.”

“No you don’t.” Elise cries and runs outside.

“Elise!” I scream and watch in horror as she runs outside, into the middle of the gunfire shouting for anyone to hear her. I quickly look back to Chatter, fearing for her life.

Demon gives a nod to Andrew and I panic. “Please no!” I scream. “Don’t shoot her, I will come with you.”

“Lauren.” Natasha scolds.

“I have to do this.” I whisper and face Demon. “I will come, just let her go.”

“Come here, my girl.” He opens his arms, waiting for me to come to him like a loving boyfriend.

I regrettably let go of Natasha’s hand, and I hear her crying as I walk towards Demon. Strike grins from behind him, his promises of torture playing in his eyes and I hold back my own frightful tears.

When I get close enough to Demon he pulls me into his arms, squeezing my injuries and making me wince. “Welcome back, Raven.”

A loud gunshot rings out and a flash of red fills my eyes. A warm liquid sprays my face and my ears painfully ring. I hear Natasha scream and it makes me open my eyes and when I do I almost fall to the floor. Demon catches me as I stare down at Chatter, lying on the floor but I can’t see her face. She’s covered in blood and I cry out. Demon tries to calm me but I push away at his hands. I don’t want to be near him. I can’t believe he did that! How could he?

“You said you wouldn’t shoot her!” I scream.

“Did I?” Demon chuckles.

“Let her go!” Shouts Grim from the door, as he stands with Elise’s dad, Bomber and more members from their club.

“Why would I do that?” Demon asks, reaching his hands under the shirt I was given. “She’s mine.”

“Get off her, Demon!” Bomber shouts.

“Shut the fuck up, snitch.” Strike points to Bomber. “I should fucking shoot you.”

“Let her go and you can.” Bomber offers and I shake my head. I don’t want anyone else hurt.

“I’d rather have, Raven.” Strike stands by me and yanks on my hair.

A gun fires and Strike lets go of me. Demon looks towards him and it’s the distraction I need. I knee him in the balls and Demon falls to his knees. I go to run away but Twist grabs me, pushing me down to the floor and aiming his gun at me. Another round of gunfire sounds and Twist drops to the floor and is replaced by Grim. He quickly pulls me up and shoves me behind him.

I manage to look around him and see a dead Twist lying face down. Men run past me, chasing Demon. Elise and Natasha run up to me, holding me as we all fall apart.
