Emily couldn’t shake Jeremy loose. She was
slipping and sliding backwards down the side of the cliff. She
raised her other leg and made one last-ditch effort. She kicked

“Is she okay?” Henry and Curly ran up to
them, both out of breath.

“Baby, are you okay?” Zor asked not letting

When she woke, she found herself back on
board Zor’s ship. She was in the infirmary. She looked around not
seeing any of the healers but she did see Zor sleeping in an

“Zor?”

He woke up immediately. “Baby? How are you

had been worried when she hadn't woken right away.

The healers assured him that she was just
dehydrated and exhausted from her ordeal, but would be fine. They
tried to send him back to his room, but he refused to leave her
side until he knew for sure she was going to be okay. Even then, he
was going to have a hard time leaving her for any period of time.
He was even more protective and possessive than before. She was

“I’m fine. I have a few aches here and
there.”

Emily scooted up in the bed. She had a sheet
over her and nothing else. She clutched the sheet to her chest when

The second in command, Curly, stood at the
entrance of the room beside another large man. They watched the
happy couple dance. Curly turned to the other man and asked, “Do
you have your answers, GPO Drako?”

Drako nodded his head. “I will enter it into
my report the human woman and Captain Zor are married. The matter
of Captain Lee’s remaining crew claiming foul play will be noted
but dismissed.”

“Thanks for taking care of this. Is there
anything that I can do for you?”

Drako looked around the room. He noticed two
beautiful females by the bar. “I’m off the clock now. How about you
buy me a beer and introduce me to a few single women?”

“You got it.”

It wasn’t over for Drako. This was only the
first stop of many that he would have to make during his
inspections. He smiled at the beautiful blond…this inspection was
proving to be the most enjoyable thus far.
