Her breathing sped up and she opened slightly, letting him in. Their tongues met after months of being separated. She took control and kissed him hungrily.

Andrew leaned back, gazing at her. “
Sherry, I can’t do one night. I want forever.”

She placed her hands around his neck. “I want forever with you,” she said against his lips. “I want us.”

He smiled and moved away. “Meet me in the living room in fifteen minutes.” He grabbed some shorts and disappeared.

She
was hot and horny and again, he’d just run out of the room.
What the hell is he up to
? But she wasn’t about to chase after him.

It was the longest fifteen minutes of her life.

Pulling on a silk robe, she strode into the living room. She burst out laughing and immediately covered her mouth, not wanting to wake the babies.

The room was dim. He’d scattered rose petals on the floor and lit a couple of candles. The twins were in their car seats on the sofa, wearing perfectly clean white onesies. He must have changed them.

She stepped forward and saw her wedding band on Nathaniel’s big toe, and the wedding ring Andrew had given her for their anniversary on Natalie’s big toe. She leaned over to grab the rings and saw the writing on their clothes.

Nate’s onesie said “I love you now and forever” and Nat’s said “But I have a secret”. She stepped back.
What secret?

Their song played
in the background, and Andrew circled his hands around her waist and kissed her neck.

“What secret?” she whispered.

He gently took the rings off the twins toes, making sure not to wake them.

“I wanted to do
this in front of our kids.” He gently took her ring finger, sliding the rings on and said, “I, Andrew Johnston, take thee, Sherry Jones,” he smiled, “to keep being my wife and before God and our beautiful kids, I promise to be a faithful and true husband. In sickness and in health, in poverty or in wealth, ’til death do us part.”

She had tears in her eyes.

“I will never let anyone come between us again, Sherry. You’ve changed me in so many ways and given me so much. I love you with all that I am and will ever be.”

She cleared her throat. “You’re a minister now?” They both laughed. “You said keep being your wife, but you divorced me.”

He cupped her face. “That’s my secret.” She arched a brow. “I never divorced you. You and I are still married.”

Her expression dropped. “What?”

“I never divorced you. After I left your office that day, I tore the papers and burned them up.”

“So I’m still your wife?” Tears ran down her face.

“Yes.” He wiped them away.

She smiled, backing away, and
pretended to punch him but pulled back. “Why didn’t you me! All this time I was angrier with you because I thought you threw away our marriage like it meant nothing, and now you tell me you never did. This all could’ve been avoided first by me trusting you and second by you telling me we were still married.”

He pulled her into him. “Everything happens for a reason. Did you think I would let you go that easy? I
was a fool, but I’ve learned my lesson.”

She got on her tiptoes. “Me too, no more secrets.”

“Are you going say your vows?”

She turned, looking at her babies’ toes for Andrew’s ring.

“I’ve never taken it off.” He showed her the band.

“I know…”

She grabbed his hand and kissed it. “I, Sherry Jones-Johnston, take thee, Andrew Johnston, to continue being my husband and before God and these precious babies, promise to be a faithful and true wife. In sickness and in health, in poverty or in wealth, ’til death do us part.”

“I may now kiss the bride.” He bent down and took her lips prisoner. “
Te amo, cielo
.”

“I love you too. Let’s put our little ones to bed so we can play.” She winked.

“It’s been far too long,” Andrew said, watching her.

“Too long.” She strolled over to the bed. “Our lives have changed since the last time.”

“We’re parents now. We’ve matured and know what we really want, and right now I want you.” He
grabbed her waist and pulled her forward.

She combed her fingers through his hair. “You’re the only one for me.”

Their lips slowly met. “Baby, I love you.”

She moaned and devoured his mouth, playing tug-of-war with his tongue. She pushed him back. “I need you inside me now!”

She discarded her teddy and jumped on top of him, kissing from his lips down to his chest. He clasped her wrist and changed their positions so she was below him.

He rapidly took off his boxers and threw them aside. “Your wish is my command.”

“Oh God.” She moaned, grabbing his neck and pulling him into a passionate kiss.

He spread her legs wide open, settling in between them, and gently slipped his cock into her soaked, canal.

“Sherry, you’re so fucking warm and tight.” He thrust slowly into her.

She wrapped her legs around his ass. “I miss this…” she moaned.

He pulled up and rubbed her breast and gently squeezed. He bent down while giving her exactly what he knew she wanted, long, deep strokes, sucking on her sensitive nipples.

“Yes…yes…just like that.”

He loved it when she let him know what she needed, and how. He took turns sucking, nibbling her nipples, driving her crazy. He rose up on his elbows and she opened her eyes. He saw all the love in her gaze, and he’d bet it mirrored his.

“I love you…” He said as he turned them over.
“De quien eres?”

She rolled her hips as he thrust up to meet her.
“Yours…”

“Damn, girl.” He moaned as her pussy muscles squeezed his manhood. “Show me what you got.” He smacked her ass.

She gave him a naughty laugh and commenced riding him, lifting up to the tip and dropping back down, taking him all, making his toes curl.

“Fuck, baby, do that again.” She did it again, and again, until her pussy started contracting around him. He could tell she
was about to burst.

She lost control and ground on his cock.
Her head went back as her hands gripped the sheets. “Yes…yes…Andrew yes!”

He pulled out and turned her around. She got on her hands and knees,
breathing heavy, he could tell she was still coming down from her burst of ecstasy.

He could see her juices, and in one swift move, he spread her and guided his cock into her aw
aiting pussy. She jumped and he took a hold of her waist to keep her in place, driving into her juicy canal without mercy.

“More, Daddy…give me more!”

He pounded her with long strokes. His balls were already tight. She arched her back and gave him a run by backing it up, bouncing her ass. He emptied his seed deep inside his wife, until his knees gave out and he fell on top of her.

“Oh God…I love you…” she said.

He pushed off her, and kissed the arch of her back. “Damn! You’re good.”

“Worth the wait
.” She put her hands under her face. “I can’t believe after all this time we are still married.” She looked at her wedding ring.

He laid on his
back, and she laid her head on his chest. “Believe it, Mrs. Johnston.”

Epilogue

“Good morning, beautiful,” Andrew said, staring into his wife’s eyes before he kissed her sexy lips.

“It’s too early in the morning for you to be this happy.” She turned, pulling the sheet over her face.

“It’s never to early to tell you I love you.”

She uncovered her face and gazed at him. “I love you.”

He smiled. “Go brush your teeth.”

She sat up and hit him in the arm. “Jerk!”

As she entered the bathroom, he jumped out of bed, ran to the kitchen, and finished up his surprise. He knew she took forever in the bathroom, and he’d have enough time to get the twins ready, too.

When she opened the bathroom door, she started laughing upon her first sight of the twins. Nate’s T-shirt said “Happy 2
nd”
and Natalie’s said “Anniversary.” Her little boy was wide-awake, giggling, and her baby girl was sound asleep.

He’d placed wildflowers on each nightstand, and a tray of breakfast o
n the bed, with a black box and a red bow in the center of it.

“Ma-ma. Ma-ma!”

She picked Nate up and he gave her a slobbery kiss on her nose. “Awww…. Thanks, Nate.”

Andrew strolled up to her, placing his hands around her waist
. “Oh, I see. I get attitude, but he gets love.”

She
chuckled. “Happy anniversary.”

He kissed her collarbone. “I would’ve never thought in a million years that I would be this happy. You were the missing puzzle piece in my life.”

She placed Nate in the playpen and returned to Andrew, putting her hands around his neck. “Two years ago you challenged me. I accepted, and damn, I fell in love. I never thought that would happen, and with you, no less.”

He arched his eyebrow and she laughed.

He bent his head and gave her a gentle kiss. “I won!”

Now it was her turn to arch her brow.

“If I recall correctly, you said let’s see who wins, and we’re here, still together, so that means I won.” He kissed her nose.

“No, that doesn’t mean that.”

“You were against us from the beginning.” He went to the bed and grabbed the black box.

“You really believe that I
was against us?”

He smiled. “Your lips said one thing but your sexy body always told me different.”

“Oh it did?” She twined their hands together.

Sherry, you were made for me. There is a reason for everything that happens in our life.”

“I already know the reason. I know I can trust you with anything and you will not judge me. You accepted me for me, even when I sometimes talk too much.”

He chuckled and then got serious. “And I’ve learned to stop punishing myself for the sins of my mother. I can be happy and totally trust you, because you aren’t my mother.” He handled her the box.

She gently removed the bow and opened it. “Andrew, it’s beautiful.” She held up a gold chain with a diamond heart pendant.

“Open it.”

She opened the locket and inside, he’d put a picture of the four of them. The empty side was engraved. Andrew nodded, wanting her to read it aloud.

“Our own family. I love you.” He said the words along with her.

She hugged him tight. “Thanks! You made all this possible.” She turned and opened her nightstand, and retrieved a small box, which she handed to him. “Remember when I told you in Vegas that you would make someone really happy?”

He shook his head.

“Well, you have. You’ve made me the happiest I’ve been in years. I love you, Andrew.” She smiled with tears in her eyes.

He opened the box and a tear escaped his eye as well. It was a wedding band with diamonds all around it. She nodded at him, and he read the words engraved inside. “Siempre te amare, Sherry.”

She took the ring out of the box and replaced his old wedding band. “This
was always the real thing.”

He pulled her into his arms. “I thank God for unanswered prayers.” He cleared his throat. “I asked him to send me an angel years ago, but he never answered, and now I see why.”

“Why?”

He cupped her face. “Because he answers in his time, not ours. He knew when and how he would send you.”

“That’s amazing, because I prayed for the same thing, and years later he sent me you.” She got up on her tiptoes and kissed her husband.
