In the car, Mason was sweetly affectionate and clearly a little horny. He kept his hand on Drew’s thigh and kind of draped his body across the narrow space between the bucket seats.

“It’s not too far from here, is it?”
“Not far at all, hon. Are you sleepy?” Mason snorted. “Not exactly.” Then he

dragged his palm up the inside of Drew’s thigh until he was cupping Drew’s crotch. Drew nearly ran off the road.

“Um, baby, can we wait until we get home for that? I don’t want to hit a light pole.”
Mason giggled. It was adorable. “Yeah. An accident would suck. Call me baby again.”
“Baby?” Drew didn’t know why Mason wanted to hear it.

“I like that. My asshole ex called me “babe.” When you do it, I can’t remember him anymore. You’re so much better.”

Drew figured there was a story there that he might need to know. But it was one that he probably wasn’t going to hear that night. That night was for celebrating, not for remembering bad relationships.

It was with quite a bit of relief that Drew pulled up in his parking spot behind the old brick building that housed four very large condos. He usually loved his fourth-floor unit, but that night with a handsy and rather tipsy Mason, the trip was very long. It didn’t help that all the touching affected certain body parts of his as well. Or that Mason noticed it about halfway up to the top floor.

“Ooh, you’re hard,” he murmured. They were right outside his neighbor’s second-floor door.

Drew tried to smother a laugh. “Shhh,” he warned. It was hard to stop laughing, and that, mixed with walking and keeping Mason in a straight line, was nearly impossible.

Mason palmed his dick again. “What? You are.”

“Of course I am. What did you think was going to happen with all the grabbing you were doing in the car, huh?”

Mason’s responding laugh was low and sexy as hell. “Let’s walk faster.”

He bounded up the stairs, two at a time, teetering but fast. Drew jogged after him, only stopping when they were outside his door. He was getting the right key out when he noticed that Mason had dragged his tank top over his head.

“Hey, what are you doing?”
Mason grinned. “It’s summer. I’m
hot
.”

Drew stuck his key into the lock. “C’mon, baby. Let’s go inside.”
“Kiss me first.”

Drew’s stomach dropped for a second. Even though it was late at night, he was right on the main street of Rock Bay. It was scary. It had to happen. He slid his arm around Mason’s waist and pulled him close for a long, wet kiss.

Once the door closed, they were all over each other, tearing off clothes, kissing, sucking at skin.

“You got stuff in your room?” Mason asked as he grabbed Drew’s briefs and yanked them down. They were completely naked, standing in the middle of his living room.

“Yeah, I do.” He’d made sure he had condoms and lube a few days earlier, just in case he and Mason needed them. Sure, he’d driven all the way to the pharmacy in Astoria to buy them, but the job still got done.

“Then let’s go. I want to ride you until I come all over you.”
Drew gulped. “Okay.”

Tipsy Mason simply giggled and took Drew’s hand to lead him into the bedroom. When they were in there, Mason flopped on the bed, arms slung over his head and thighs spread. “Come here and kiss me. I need more birthday kisses.”

His sexy, sweaty skin, the wanton pose, the smeared eyeliner—it was all enough to make Drew grit his teeth to keep from coming too soon. He kneeled between Mason’s spread thighs and lowered himself until they were chest to chest, kissing, with Mason’s legs slung up over his hips.

“I love how you feel,” Mason told him. Then he arched his hips against Drew’s and moaned. Drew knew what he was doing. Talking, making sure Drew knew he was desired. It was sweet and sexy. Drew appreciated it more than he could ever say. Mason ran his feet up and down the back of Drew’s legs.

“I love how you feel too,” Drew murmured. “Can’t wait to feel all of you.”

Fuck.
” Mason arched harder, pressing his leaking cock against Drew’s for another moment before he pushed Drew’s chest off his. “Touch me. Please?” He took Drew’s hand and led it to the shadowy place behind his balls. “I’ve been waiting for this all week.”

“Me too.” Drew leaned over to his drawer and pulled out the lube that he’d driven all the way to Oregon to buy. He slicked up his fingers and pressed gently at Mason’s entrance.

“Yes,” Mason hissed, and rolled his hips until Drew’s two fingers slipped inside him. Mason moaned. “Fuck me. Not sure how long I can wait.”

“Don’t you need me to get you ready?” Drew didn’t want to hurt Mason.

Mason groaned, then smiled slyly. “I’m fine. I’ve been, uh, getting ready on my own.”
“You…?” Drew was pretty sure he knew what Mason meant. And he sure as hell would’ve liked to have seen that.
“Yeah. Where are the condoms?”
Drew tried to keep his fingers inside Mason, but the dresser was just too far.

“Hurry,” Mason whispered as Drew fumbled for the box and tried to open a condom with lubeslick fingers. “Here, let me.”

Mason took the condom from Drew and opened it. Then he rolled it slowly down Drew’s length, squeezing and testing the entire time. Drew, who was pretty close to the edge himself, held his breath. It was even harder to control it when Mason slicked him up with lube. Drew had to take long, deep breaths to keep control.

“Ready?” Drew asked. He wasn’t sure if he was talking more to Mason or to himself. He wasn’t ready, maybe would never be really ready, but he wanted Mason so badly that he had to try.

“Mmm-hmmm. C’mere.” And just like he’d done earlier that night, Mason held his hand out to Drew and pulled him close. Then he rolled them over and climbed on top of Drew. Drew lined his cock up to Mason’s entrance and arched his hips once again, pushing until he sank slowly into Mason, all the way to the hilt.

Drew could barely breathe. He couldn’t think. All there was in the world was Mason’s sweet heat, his breath, the strength of his legs holding onto Drew’s hips.

“So good,” Mason whispered. “You’re perfect in me.”
Mason sure as hell felt perfect. Drew cupped his face and kissed him slowly, softly as he started to move. He wanted to find Mason’s gland, that little place that would drive his guy insane. Mason leaned back to help him and shuddered hard when Drew found it. Drew wrapped his hand around Mason’s dick and watched the pleasure swim on his face as he rode up and down.
“You’re so gorgeous,” Drew whispered. He stroked Mason’s cock and ran his free hand up and down Mason’s torso from his hip to his neck. Drew wanted to feel every inch of skin available.
“Oh, God, Drew. I think I’m gonna come. I don’t—” Mason looked shocked, like it hadn’t happened that quickly ever before. His pace became jerky, his face contorted, then he cried out, and Drew’s hand was filled with hot cum as Mason shook up above him.
Mason dropped forward and started whispering in Drew’s ear. “Keep going, baby. I want you to come inside me.” He tightened on Drew’s cock and did this sexy little roll with his hips. It was almost too much.
“Almost there,” Drew choked out. He hadn’t come so quick… well, ever.
“Come on. Do it.” Mason kept moaning and breathing in Drew’s ear, whispering hot little encouragements and dirty words. Drew fucking loved it. Before he knew it, he was shaking and coming, filling the condom and holding onto Mason as hard as he could. Then he went slack, so satisfied he nearly blacked out.
Mason separated them, then flopped to the side, grinning. “That was amazing,” he said. “So hot.”
Drew could barely talk, but he managed a weak, “Yeah.” He pulled off the condom before it got too sticky and tossed it into the garbage can near his bed. Then he rolled over and wrapped Mason up in his arms. They were both hot and covered in sweat and cum, but there wasn’t anything that would keep him from wanting to hold Mason at that moment.

“I’m glad it was you.” Drew wasn’t sure what he meant by that, other than the fact that he couldn’t imagine being there, twined up and sticky, with anyone else, and being so happy he could barely stand to move.

“I’m glad it was me too,” Mason answered. He kissed Drew’s chest and hugged him in a soft cuddle for a few minutes before he spoke. “Hey, do you want to get a shower with me before we go to sleep?”

Drew had been drifting but he yanked himself awake. “Yeah, sure. Let’s go take a shower.” Bed was nice, but a big tiled shower with wet Mason was even better.

“Good. I can get you clean, and then make you all dirty again. Maybe I’ll even let you ride my cock later.”

“W—” Drew’s mouth dropped open. He did want to try it, but….

Mason laughed. “You should see your face. We’re not going there tonight. We’re both tired, and you’re going to need to work up to that. Let’s take a shower and hold each other while we sleep. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.”

“I like that plan.”

sat up in bed when he woke the next morning, early like always, but not like always. Not even a little bit. He was tired and stiff, and Jesus, if he couldn’t stop grinning. There, right next to him, under his light summer blanket, was Mason. His eyeliner had come off partially in the shower, and his sweet curls puffed up on the side, but he smiled in his sleep and rolled over to find the warmth of Drew’s body. Drew scooted back under the blanket and gathered him close.

“Morning,” Mason muttered. “What time is it?”

“Way too early. I forgot to close the blinds. Go back to sleep, baby.”

“’Kay.” Mason cuddled back into Drew’s chest, slid his thigh between Drew’s legs, and went back to sleep, his long breaths warm and damp against Drew’s chest. It was so comfortable and sweet. Cuddling had always been something that felt like a chore to Drew in the past. Not with Mason. All he felt with Mason was right.

Drew had drifted back to sleep himself when his cell started buzzing angrily against the night table. It was enough to wake him partially, and Mason, who stirred against his chest. Drew kissed the top of Mason’s head and reached over to answer the phone before he really thought about what he was doing. When his father’s angry voice came through the speaker, it woke him up enough to realize that it might have been a mistake.

“Boy!” His father’s booming voice made Drew pull the phone away from his ear.
Shit, shit, shit.
Talk about god-awful timing.

“Hey, Dad. Now’s not the best time.” I’m naked in bed with my boyfriend, who you can’t know about. Probably the worst timing in history.

“I need to talk to you, Son. There are some unsettling rumors going around town.”
In case I thought my life was complicated enough.
Drew had no idea why he’d been stupid enough to think that his revelations to Brock wouldn’t get to his parents. Apparently they had.

“Why don’t I come over on Monday? I’m in the middle of something here,” he said, trying to sound as calm as possible. Mason lifted his leg and draped it over Drew’s hip. He reached between them, half awake, and stroked Drew’s cock with his own. Drew’s breath caught in his throat. He stilled Mason’s hand, but didn’t move it.

“Tomorrow. Your mother and I will expect you for dinner.”

“Dad….” Drew didn’t want to cut his weekend with Mason short. Honestly, he wanted Mason near all the time.

“Six o’clock.” With that, his father hung up. Drew sighed and dropped his phone onto the carpet. He would’ve liked to toss it out the window, where it could never bother him again, but even in his moment of annoyance, Drew knew better than that.

“Who’s that?” Mason slurred.

“My dad. Let’s go back to sleep, okay? I want to get at least another hour or so.”

“Okay,” Mason agreed.

This time Drew closed his eyes and drifted easily back to sleep.

do you mean, you’re dating a man? You’re
not
gay.” Gerald MacAuliffe, Drew’s father, had turned multiple shades of purple. His mother was sitting on the sofa with her tea, avoiding confrontation like she always had.

“I’m bisexual, Dad. I always have been. I like men and women, I just happen to really like a man. I think it might be for real this time.”

“This is because you’re friends with that Tally. Don’t think I haven’t heard what’s going on down at the coffee shop he works at.”

“You mean the shop he runs with his partner? Dad, they’re happy, they run a nice business, what’s so wrong with that?”

“It’s unnatural,” his father answered, sputtering.
Drew wondered if he’d landed in another century. He’d always known his father was intolerant, but it hadn’t touched him personally. At the moment, he felt like throwing something against the wall and running away—not that it would help his case any.

“Father, it’s unnatural to not let yourself be happy. Tally and Lex are happy. I’m happy with Mason. He’s a good guy.”

“Don’t say a name. I don’t want to hear a name. You’re not really doing this. I won’t believe it.” His father turned and stomped into the kitchen. Drew assumed he needed to fume in peace for a moment.

“Sweetheart, don’t you think this is awfully sudden? You were always such a well-behaved boy.”

Drew shook his head to clear it. “This has nothing to do with me being behaved, Mom. This has to do with the fact that I might be falling in love, and I didn’t want to get you and Dad involved until I knew, but he called me here, and now you’re involved.”
