Chapter 4

“We have a lot to deal with. When we get to the business meeting with a possible new account, the man’s name is Jacob Harden and like his name, he is a real hard ass. We can’t screw this up,” was all Henry said as he watched Veronica place her pearls into her mouth and then pulling them out, distracting him.

The drive was going as planned. She almost had her boss eating out of her hand, which was actually turning her on. They arrived at the building where the meeting was being held and the two parties sat down and began arguing over numbers and why Henry’s services were needed.

Finally, the ultimate question came up from Mr. Harden’s lips, “I need to be convinced on why I should pick you instead of all these younger more energetic men, why should I pick you?” he asked glaring at Henry from across the table. Henry looked over at his secretary who sat next to him and for once in his life, he looked panicked. She couldn’t understand it.

Henry looked back over at the new possible client and took a deep breath, you need my services because I am just as hard working and determined as these younger hungry men are when they come into the business. I fight for you and what you want in order to get what you want,” he said and then looked over at Veronica who was sitting quietly in her chair.

“I was once told that I was arrogant and self-absorbed and that I could prove to anyone that I was a bad guy, but I don’t want to be that man. I want to think about the people I serve and do my best for them not because I have to but because I can. I don’t want to be self-absorbed because it’s not about me…it’s about you, the client” Henry finished as he took his seat next to Veronica and looked at the possible client in the eye.

“That is if you will let me be that man for you, Mr. Harden,” he said softly while not looking away for even the slightest moment.

Suddenly, Mr. Harden began laughing and reached his hand out to Henry who looked almost stunned at the gesture, “That was one hell of a confession son, but it got you my business.

I like a man who can admit his faults and be honest even if his job is on the line,” Mr. Harden said wrapping up the meeting. “My people will call your people,” Mr. Harden said before leaving the room.

Veronica and Henry were left in the room with a moment of silence. Veronica stood up and began gathering the signed papers and putting them in piles for their files when the two locked eyes.

“We just picked up an account that most people are denied for,” Henry said to Veronica who smiled back at him not sure what to say after hearing him admit his wrongdoing.

“Great work,” she said softly as she continued cleaning up after the meeting when her boss walked over to her, grabbed her and looked into her eyes.

“When I saw you at the door, I was shocked at how you looked compared to how you looked at work. You are beautiful but it was drastic and it made me think about how wrong I was for treating you the way I did as well as for what I said,” Henry said as he smiled down at Veronica. “You made me think about how I couldn’t see myself going on like this and I needed to change,” he said as he took her in his arms.

Veronica wasn’t sure how to take any of this. She was impressed with how much he had grown in such a short time and wrapped her arms around his neck, “I knew you weren’t all bad,” she said smiling as he leaned in and kissed her softly on the mouth. Veronica lightly moaned as he kissed her, his hands began to examine her body as he pulled her in tightly against his body.

Veronica slid her hands to the back of his head gripping his hair gently as his tongue skid into her mouth massaging hers softly. Henry pressed her against the table and picked her up sitting her down on the cool table top and found his way in between her legs. Veronica wrapped her legs around him as the two began breathing heavily and more passionately.

Henry began kissing Veronica on the neck, nibbling his way down as he left a trail of kisses on her collarbone, down to the curve of her breast that peaked out from her dress. Her head fell back as she felt his fingers dig into her thighs as he thrust himself forward pressing against her sex, making her moan lightly in his ear.

Veronica unbuttoned Henry’s jacket and tossed it onto the chair as she slid her hands to his chest unbuttoning his shirt exposing his firm chest.

Henry slid his hands to the shoulders of Veronica and slid his fingers underneath, pulling them down slowly as he dragged his tongue on her skin teasing her bodies senses.

She slid her arms through and pulled it down showing off her tight stomach as she sat there in her white laced strapless bra. She pulled Henry onto her, kissing him deeply as his hands reached around, undoing her bra while she reached down undoing his belt and pants letting them fall to the floor. Their hands were furiously to undress one another as they licked and kissed on one another.

Henry lifted Veronica’s skirt exposing her panties and slid them off to the floor and then dropped his briefs and made his way between her legs. Henry grabbed Veronica’s breasts in his hands and kissed them softly as he pressed himself against her sex, making her throw her head back, moaning loudly.

Veronica wrapped her arms underneath his shirt and pulled him in against her tightly dragging her fingers across his back, making Henry moan as she returned the pleasurable feeling. She could feel his body shaking as he stood exposed in between her legs.

“I’m sorry, I’m just really nervous,” Henry said making Veronica smile as he looked down at her.

“Don’t worry, I’m nervous too,” she said pulling him and kissing him softly and as passionately as she could manage. Henry felt his body melt as she kissed him so intensely, he moved his hips forward and found his way inside of Veronica, making her gasp as she felt him inside of her.

The two made eye contact as they held onto one another, seeing the passion in their eyes, both vulnerable after Henry had made his confession and Veronica found the goddess inside of her the night before. The two of them clinged to one another as they made love to one another, moaning out from the pleasure they were feeling.

Veronica wrapped her legs around him, embracing him as she arched her back loving how soft and gentle his hands felt on her body as he thrust himself inside of her, the rhythm of their love slow and steady as the two of them became one.

Veronica’s moaning grew louder as she felt her body begin to tighten. She tried fighting back the feeling but as Henry noticed her coming close to climax, he decided to no longer hold back. He took Veronica in his arms and continued his rhythmic motions until suddenly he felt her body give in and let go.

She moaned loudly climaxing there on the table top as they celebrated not only the deal but new beginnings for themselves. Henry could no longer hold back as he gripped her thighs and moaned feeling his body go limp as he climaxed right after Veronica who clinged to him.

The two then sat there holding one another after sitting in the afterglow smiling at one another, planting kisses where they wanted as they tried to catch their breath.

“I really do care about you Veronica, you’ve changed me,” Henry said as he stared into her eyes, he pulled her in for a kiss softly pressing his lips against her. He pulled away and saw that she was beginning to cry which made him worry. “Are you okay?” Henry asked while wiping away her tears.

She nodded her head while sniffling, “I’m fine…it’s just that you helped change me too. I was never really too strong of a woman but after dealing with what you had to say, I found a new power inside of me that took over” she said smiling up at him as he stood there in front of her, beginning to smile as he realized what she was saying to him.

“Who’d of thought that we were the ones to change our bad habits,” he said pressing his forehead against hers, “Let’s get dressed,” he said to Veronica softly and helped her off of the table.

The two dressed themselves and finished gathering the papers for the account and organized them before putting them into his brief case and made their way out of the building together beaming.

The couple made their way to the limo that they had taken and climbed into the back seat as the limo driver stared at the two smiling at the difference the two had when they returned.

The limo made its way to the freeway as the two sat in the back seat with the window up between them and the driver with Veronica sitting against Henry with their fingers intertwined, as they sat in silence.

Henry would leave a kiss on Veronica’s forehead as she sat there, taking in the moment of peace between the two of them.

Eventually, the two arrived to her house and Veronica looked out the window and sighed, “I don’t want to go back home, not after today,” she said with a soft whisper as she looked up at Henry who sat there with her in his arms. “I don’t want to let you go.

Today was the most amazing day of my life,” he said leaning down and tasting her lips one more time before letting her hand go.

“Why don’t you join me for dinner later tonight as an official celebration of obtaining the account and maybe afterwards, you can come to my house for a night cap,” Henry said with a smile though he looked anxious for Veronica to say yes to his offer.

“I think that sounds good, besides I have another outfit I brought with me in case you didn’t like this one,” Veronica said laughing lightly as Henry shook his head, “Was I really that bad?” he asked jokingly, “I think you look good in anything honestly. I really do apologize for the other day,” he said looking somewhat sad about his actions the other day.

“I know you are. I never really held it against you. If anything, it motivated me to do something about it and prove that I was not only intelligent but also a strong beautiful woman,” Veronica said giving him a wink.

Suddenly, the door opened and the front door of her house was only a few steps away, “Well, it’s back to reality for now. Then dinner later tonight with the new Mr. Ross,” Veronica said making the two of them chuckle.

“Let me walk you to the door Ms. Marsh,” Henry said before sliding out of the back of the limo and holding out his hand for her to grab as he helped her out of the back of the limo.

“Thank you,” Veronica said with a chuckle as the two walked hand in hand slowly dragging their feet to her front door. “I’ll see you later tonight Veronica”, Henry said while looking her in the eye making her blush lightly as he pulled her in and kissed her softly on the laps. Veronica felt the kiss tingle from head to toe making her lift a leg into the air like a 40’s movie.

Veronica pulled away with her arms around Henry’s neck and smiled up at him, watching him slowly walk back to the limo turning back around to get a glimpse of her before climbing back into the limo and having the driver shut the door. He tipped his hat with a smile and climbed into the driver seat and pulled the limo away as she turned and unlocked the door.

Veronica walked inside and placed her keys on the table as she placed her coat and purse on the couch and carried her bag upstairs.

She pulled her outfit out and laid it out for her dinner later that night with her boss. She laid herself down on the bed and slowly began removing her jewelry and clothes while staring at her outfit thinking about her day.

Veronica played the day through her head like a movie, reliving the look on her boss' face as she came out powerful and strong and then to the moment, where he couldn’t look away from her and then struggled in the meeting answering the question of why he should be hired. She then thought about his admittance to a then possible client about his transgressions and how he wanted to change.

Then she remembered how his fingers felt and how his kisses tasted sweet as he made love to her. She then replayed the apology and realized that the man she once loathed was now the man she had fallen in love with.

Chapter 1

I knew my new secretary was a virgin. Definitely. For sure. She was young, beautiful, and seemed intelligent, but something was wrong in the way she looked at me.

She was quite self-confident and didn’t lower her gaze every time I called her. She never stooped or blushed, obviously wishing the ground could swallow her up. She knew her own worth. But her eyes…

Her look was somewhat pure.

Did I like it? Of course.

Virgins were always my special interest, and I loved to make them want me like crazy. But Elle was different, and I hated it. She paid no attention to my remarks and never smiled at me.

“Don’t look so terribly upset!” I asked her in the morning when she brought me my coffee.

“This face expression makes you look like my aunt Polly. She’s a terrible pain in the neck, you know?”

“I’m sorry, I had no chance to meet your aunt,” Elle replied.

Was she mocking at me?

If she was, it meant that she was smarter than I thought. If she wasn’t, her answer was as boring as hell.

“Oh my goodness!” I tried the coffee and got burned.

“Are you crazy, girl? What do you think you are doing?”

“I’m sorry?” Elle was as serious as always. Did she do this on purpose?

“The coffee!” I pushed the cup towards my secretary, and it turned over. The drink was spilled all over the table.

“Stop looking and start working! Clean it up and get me an espresso which is not as hot as the Sun!”

“Oh,” she just said with no emotions in her voice.

“Just a moment.”

“Stupid blonde,” I added when Elle was about to leave the room.

She hesitated as if considering stopping and turning around, but then she just went out. I smiled. I knew I was driving her crazy, but that was exactly what all women around me liked.

I was too handsome not to fall for, so I knew Elle was on her way. I was sure that each time I shouted at her, she turned on.

Could it be the other way round? Not in the world. I wasn’t a guy to turn up noses at.

Young, but already a billionaire, strong and muscular, I had always been a dream of any girl. Dozens of girls were at my feet.

“I’m sorry, sir,” an HR-manager peeped in my office.

“Here is Elle’s resignation… She handed it a moment ago, and I thought I needed…”

“Give it to me!”

I looked at the paper: Elle was really going to leave the company.

No way would I sign the resignation.

“I’m sorry, sir, it’s none of my business, but she was a perfect employee. What are you going to do?” the manager asked.

“Just get out,” I said angrily.

I hated when people acted against my expectations, and I wasn’t going to let Elle go. Not now when I wanted to take her in my arms and…

Someone knocked at the door.

“I’m sorry…”

There was another manager with another urgent case. I had a lot of work to do.

So Elle had to wait.
