“I would have to tell them something. It couldn’t just appear out of nowhere. It’s not magic.”
They sat silently, side by side on the couch, neither one sure of what to say to the other. She peaked at him, out of the corner of her eye. He had a strong profile; to match with is strong hands. She peaked down at his hands, calloused from working with the horses. She wondered what it would feel like holding his hand, or feel them stroking her breasts. She blushed slightly and looked away.
He leaned over, kissing her softly. She was still for a few moments, not knowing what to do, before her body took over and started kissing him back. Pressing herself against his lips, his light beard scratching her face. After a minute she pulled away. She took a deep, shaky breath.
“My friends did warn that the men in America were brash,” she said breathlessly.
“Then let me warn you know, I'm going to be brash again.”
He took her face in his hands, and leaned in to kiss her again. This time she was expecting it, and kissing him back right away, her body moving closer to his. It felt like there was a fire burning inside her. She shouldn’t do this, she thought suddenly. What if this didn’t work out? How would she be able to go to the stables then, knowing she’d have to see him? What would it do to Leslie, if she found out? She put her hands on his shoulders and pushed him away.
“What? What’s the matter?” he asked hoarsely.
She looked into his eyes, deep and golden brown. All her concerns flew out of her head, she didn’t remember any of the questions she had had only seconds before. Dianna shook her head, and leaned closer to him, wrapping her arms around his broad shoulders. He moved a hand to the back of her neck, smoothing her hair between his fingers. His other hand moved down her back, tugging at the bottom of her shirt. Slowly, almost reluctantly, she pulled away again, sliding her hands around his shoulders and against his chest. Carefully, she started undoing the buttons of his shirt. When all the buttons were undone, she pushed the shirt off his shoulders, and down his arms, pressing her face into his neck and breathing him in. He smelled like fresh grass on a warm summer’s day. Instead of undoing her buttons, Jackson simply lifted her over-sized dye shirt over her head, laughing as her hair fell in front of her face. He pushed her hair back, stroking it until it lay properly against her head. She sighed softly and leaned her head back into his hand. He leaned into her again, kissing down her neck. It felt like his lips left a trail of fire running down her skin. She sighed again, her breath starting to quicken. She shivered slightly, as his rough hands moved gently down her back.
Somewhere, outside, a car door slammed shut. It didn't sound close enough to be her brother and the kids, but it reminded her that they could be home at any time. They could come home, and catch them in the living room. She pulled herself away from Jackson, and jumped up off the couch. Jackson looked at her confused, as she bent over the picked up their clothes. Suddenly self-conscious, she held them in front of her chest.
“What?” he asked, standing up. “What's the problem?”
“Nothing, nothing. Let's just move somewhere better.”
One of her hands held their clothes, with the other she grabbed his hand, and pulled him through the kitchen. He stopped and looked around at the things she had set out.
“What is all this?” he asked, amazed.
Dianna blushed and let go of his hand. She tucked some wayward strands of hair behind her ear and looked around.
“I make art,” she shrugged quickly and looked around. “Well, I try to make art. I used fabric and threads instead of paint or anything. Like a painter makes up their own paints, I like to colour my own materials.”
He nodded and looked around again, “and bothered you. I'm sorry. If you want me to go....”
Dianna laughed and shook her head. “It's sometimes good to have a break.”
She took his hand again, and pulled him towards the basement. When Dianna first moved in with them, her brother renovated the basement to make it like her own little apartment. She liked spending most of her time with the family, but it was always nice to have a little place to retreat to. Like now. She let him go down the stairs first, and shut the door firmly after them. Once in her living room, and pulled the shirts out of her hand, letting them fall to the floor. He took both her hands, and pulled her closer to him. She wrapped her arms around his waist, standing on her toes to kiss him again. She pushed herself against him, his hands travelling up her back. His hands were calloused and rough against her soft skin. He fumbled with her bra, pulling it down her arms. She brushed her hands down his waist, pulling his hips closer to hers. He picked her up, Jackson linking his hands underneath her. She squealed and held onto his neck, laughing. She looked over his shoulder.
“Left,” she called, out to him, directing him to the bedroom.
“Slightly right, slightly right!”
He didn't change direction soon enough and her back hit the wall. He let go of her, and she slid down to the floor. She turned around and moved over, pushing open her door.
“See? Slightly right.”
She looked around her room, seeing it as he must be seeing it. She wasn't a very good housekeeper, books and clothes were piled up around the edge of the room, the rocking chair covered with folded blankets, but at least the bed was made. She sat down on the low bed, and looked up at him shyly. He come up to the bed, and leaned over her. Carefully he pushed her down until she was lying on the bed. As he climbed on, he pushed her, until she was on her stomach. Straddling her legs, he leaned over her. Starting at the base of her neck, he kissed down her spine.
“There. Making it feel all better after being bumped.”
He pulled her pants, and panties off. And started kissing again, from the bottom of her spine, and ending at her neck. As he kissed her neck, she sighed with pleasure. She rolled around, lying on her back. She reached up and unzipped his jeans, he pulled them off, tossing them off the side of the bed. She wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer to her. He leaned down, once again kissing her neck. His mouth moved down her neck, his kisses moving across her chest. She gasped with surprise as he licked her nipple. She moaned softly as he moved his mouth over her breast, and started sucking it. Her breathing came faster, as she writhed on the bed. She reached up, her hands rubbing his back, and stroking his neck, as he leaned over to kiss her again. There was urgency now, his lips pushing hers hungrily, wanting more. It was like her mind turned off, and her body took over. She just wanted this, now. Without thinking, her legs moved, pushing him closer to her. As he pushed himself into her, she gasped loudly. She moaned as he moved, drowning out any other thought or sound. He pushed her hard, and deep, her hands gripping his strong back, her fingers digging into his skin. He moved faster, pushing harder, she gasped and moaned as he moved, each motion bringing her closer to climax. She clung to his back, harder, her legs pulling him closer. She could feel it building in her muscles. With a scream she buried her face in his shoulder, and her back arched. She pressed him closer, as she shuddered with pleasure. Her body held him tightly, any movement making her shudder and scream again. After a few moments, she felt him shudder, his face pressed against her neck.
They lay still, curled up together on her bed, their arms and legs jumbled together. Dianna pressed her head against his chest, listening to his heartbeat. He leaned his cheek against the top of her head; his arm was tight against her shoulder, keeping her close.
“Are all your family artists?” he asked.
She laughed, burying her neck into his neck, “absolutely not. My brother and dad are both accountants. My mother always hoped I’d find some nice boy and settle down.”
Jackson snorted, “I guess moms are like that all over the world.”
She pulled away slightly, and propped up her head on her hand, looking at him. He was almost too tall for her bed. If he stretched out any more, he would probably start to hang off the edge. He was so different from any of the other men she had slept with. She leaned over, kissing him, pinning him to the bed with her body. She felt him getting hard under her, and pressed against him harder. She moved her body slightly against his, and he moaned louder. He reached up and grabbed her breasts, his rough fingers moving against her nipples, her back arched, causing Jackson to moan louder. She could feel herself getting wet again, and she shifted. The fire was rising in her again, burning her from the inside out. She shifted and moaned, as he pulled on her nipples. She guided his stiff cock into her, and rocked against him. Both of them moaning loudly as she moved. As he came, he gripped her tighter, pulling her closer, thrusting deeper into her. She screamed louder, her pleasure building, her body writhing and arching against his. Finally she lay down on the bed next to him, her body tired. Jackson kissed her hard on the mouth, and pulled her against him.
“I don’t think you could ever settle down with a nice boy, like your mom said. He just wouldn’t know what to do with you.”
She was about to say something, when the house made a noise, startling them both into silence; reminding them both that everyone else could be back at any moment.
“I don’t want you to think I’m pushing you out, but…” her voice trailed off.
“But if would be better if I left before everyone else came back. I understand.”
He let her go, and she rolled out of the bed. It felt like her heart flipped, as she stepped onto the floor. She hadn’t wanted to spoil their moment; she had wanted to stay there, wrapped up in his arms forever. She pulled on her clothes, and went upstairs first, to see if they had come home. She went in and out of every room, making sure.
“Alright, you're safe to come out,” she called to Jackson, as she ran down the stairs.
He was already dressed when she got back to her bedroom, and he ran up the stairs after her. At the top he wrapped his arms around her waist, and swung her in a circle around the kitchen. She squealed loudly, and slapped at his hands.
“No, no, no. Stop it.”
At the third time around, he set her down. She laughed breathlessly, and turned to look at him. He leaned over to kiss the top of her head, and moved towards the living room.
“I don't want to kiss and run, but I should get going. It's always an early morning for me.”
Dianna made a face, “well, I don't envy you that. I'd rather not have an early morning.”
Jackson laughed, and kissed her nose, “I don't think the horses would appreciate that.”
“I suppose not.”
She took his hand, and they walked towards the door together. He pulled on his boots, as the door opened.
“Hello Di,” her brother called, then looked surprised seeing her already near the doorway. “Oh. You're here. What's all this?”
“Jackson, from the riding stables,” he said, holding out his hand.
The other man shook it, “Ah, the riding stables I've been hearing so much about.”
Leslie and her brother followed into the house, Leslie stopped on the step, looking confused.
“I just came to drop something off,” Jackson said, putting his cowboy hat on.
Leslie's face broke into an enormous smile, “my helmet? Did you bring my helmet?”
He nodded, and pointed towards the living room. “Someone took it by mistake. They brought it back, and I thought you would want it right away.”
Her brother made a strange face and nodded. “A mistake you say? Yes, that does happen.”
Dianna glared at him behind Jackson's back, and then looked at Leslie. “Well?”
“Thank you so much for bringing it,” she kicked off her shoes, and ran into the living room.
Her brother shook Jackson's hand again, “well, it was nice to finally meet you. And thanks for bringing the helmet.”
He muttered something about picking it up at the next lesson, but Dianna ignored him. He gently pushed his son into the living room and followed after. She turned to look at Jackson.
