Chapter Eight

When Rebecca woke up the next morning, sunlight was filtering in through a set of large windows across from the king sized bed. She was covered in layers of silk blankets and quilts and she couldn’t help but be thankful for it. One of the windows had been left cracked open and a chilly wind managed to sneak its way in, making Rebecca shiver.

She stood slowly, the blanket wrapped around her. She was still wearing her dress from the night before, though she noticed her panties were nowhere to be found. Her throbbing head was a clear reminder of the wine she’d consumed the night before, though she struggled to figure out where her panties had gone off to. Whose bedroom was this, anyway?

She stumbled into the bathroom and squinted as she flicked on the light. All of the products on the counter were men’s products and she hummed softly, blinking the sleep from her eyes. Jude…She was at Jude’s house. But where were her panties? She sighed and slipped out of the dress before turning on the hot water and climbing into the warm spray, thankful for it. She could only guess that Jude wouldn’t mind if she grabbed a hot shower.

The night before was slowly coming back to her and she was feeling a little guilty that she’d allowed a man to take her so easily. She’d grown up in the type of family that stressed purity until marriage and Rebecca kept her oath. Jimmy  was her first boyfriend and the man she lost her virginity to. Their wedding night had been awkward and not even close to enjoyable. She blamed their inexperience but in the three years they were married, it never got any better.

The more she recalled, the less guilty she started fell about the previous evenings actives. After all, she was a twenty-six-year-old woman and she had every right to feel good about her sex life which was something she never thought she’d feel good about. Jude made her feel confident ant sexy and she deserved it. She’d never had an orgasm so good she passed out right afterwards! He’d been so kind and gentle and he made her feel like she deserved all the things she was feeling.

Rebecca turned off the water and sighed, stepping out of the shower and towel drying her curly hair before slipping back into her dress, deciding she wouldn’t ask about her panties. She’d let him keep them as a little souvenir. She giggled at the thought and then cleared her throat, forcing herself to be at least as little professional. Now that she didn’t have good wine clouding her mind she was back to the old Rebecca. Quiet, stoic and relentlessly professional even when confronting a one-night stand…God she hoped it was more than a one-night stand. She wasn’t sure if she was ready for a relationship yet but she knew she wanted to see him again.

As she wandered into the main living room, she could see that Jude was already away and only half dressed. He was standing at the stove, frying some eggs, his baby blue pajama pants barely hanging onto his tips. He had little dimples in his lower back, right about his ass and she wasn’t sure why but it made her stomach flutter in the most excited way.

Every time he moved, the sinewy muscles in his back shifted and rippled and it made her want him all over again. He was the type of guy who could throw her over his shoulder without a second thought. The mental image made her smile and she wandered over to the pass-through window, clearing her throat to get his attention.

He turned around slowly and smiled at her, setting a plate on the bar. “Just in time for breakfast.”

She sat on one of the tall bar stools and took her plate, digging in happily as she watched him closely.

He hummed and glanced over his shoulder, smiling. “Everything okay?”

“Everything is great…Um…Really great.” She said, blushing all over again.

He chuckled and shook his head. “What’s going through your mind?”

              “Everything that happened last night?”

              “It was wonderful, wasn’t it?”

She smiled, glad that he wasn’t going to embarrass her by pretending he didn’t know what she was talking about.

              “It was perfect.” She admitted.

“I was thinking we could do it again some time.”

She blinked and a grin spread across her lips. “Um...The date?”

“The date, the mind-blowing orgasm.” He said with a grin. “The whole thing.”

“Oh…Well…Um. I think I’d like that.” She said, cheeks going pink as she tried to play it cool.

He chuckled and turned around, exposing his perfectly sculpted chest and rock hard abs. She was sure she could wash her clothes on them. His hair had been pulled from its pony tail and hung loose around his face. She could tell it was a little lighter than she first expected it to be. With his hair down and his hairless chest exposed, she realized he reminded her of a surfer.

“I knew I was going to like you. But I didn’t realize just how much.” He admitted, offer her another smile.

              “Oh…Well, thank you.”

“You’re going to be a challenge though.”

“What do you mean?” She asked cocking her head to the side.”

He leaned forward, chin resting in his hand. “One of these days I’m going to get you to come out of your shell without the wine.” He teased.

She blushed and started eating her eggs. “I’ve been like this my whole life.” Well, that was a bit of a lie bit he didn’t need to know that.

“I figured as much. That’s why you’re going to be a challenge. I know that just behind that wall you’ve built, there’s a girl aching for adventure and spontaneity. I’m going to find her.”

Rebecca blushed an even deeper red but smiled all the same. “I’m not going to lie, Jude…I hope you find her.”

Chapter Nine

Rebecca and Jude hit it off better than they ever expected. Over the next month or two, they spent as much time together as possible. Jude even surprised Rebecca at work for lunch. All of her friends swooned over him and told her how lucky she was to have such a strong handsome man in her life. Rebecca couldn’t have agreed more. He didn’t change her over-night, but the more time they spent together, the more she started to let her guard down. He was bringing out the best in her and everyone could see it. She was more confident than she’d ever been and happier too.

They hadn’t gone any further than fooling around but even in that respect, she was doing things she’d never thought she’d do. Jude wasn’t pushing her or making her feel obligated to try these new things, he just made her feel more adventurous. When they spent time together there was nothing she felt she couldn’t do.

They were lying in bed together, Jude smoking a thin cigar as the smell of vanilla wafted through the small bedroom and out the open window. He seemed to enjoy having his windows open and the blinds pulled back.  Rebecca wasn’t going to complain since she enjoyed it just as much.

Rebecca rolled over to look at Jude, her hair a wild mess and her face free of make-up. The sun was just beginning to set and they’d spent the entire day rolling around in the sheets together. She’d lost count of her orgasms after the fifth one and now she was ready to go again.

She felt so free with him and it was like she was a totally different person when he was around. “Jude? Are we going out tonight?”

“We sure are, angel. We’re going to go to the woodshed.”

Rebecca stiffened at that and chewed her lip, not sure she was ready to give up that much control yet.

              “We are?”

“I thought it might be good for you to meet some new people.” He said, pushing himself to sit up against the head board.

She whined and put her head on his chest, looking out the window at the setting sun. The sky was painted a beautiful mix of oranges and purples.

“Why do I have to meet new people?”

“You’re trying to curb your anxiety, right? This is all part of it.”
She sighed and nodded, watching the wall on the other side of the room as she ran her fingers along his firm chest. “I suppose you’re right.”

              “Of course I am.”

She rolled her eyes and moved to sit on the edge of the bed, clearly nervous at the prospect of going to the club. Rebecca had done some research since she found out that Jude had a habit of frequenting the club. She had no way of knowing what happened in The Woodshed, but she’d gone online and read up on the things that the BDSM community was known for. Some of the stuff interested her but most of it terrified her. As far as she could tell, most people like Jude expected people like her to give up all control and she wasn’t sure she could handle that.

As if reading her mind, he rolled over and kissed her cheek adoringly, stroking the pad of his thumb across her cheek.

“I’m not going to make you call me master or follow a bunch of orders. I had a different idea.”

She seemed to relax at this reassurance and nodded slowly. “What were you thinking then?”

“Go to the closet. There’s a pink box in there for you.”

Rebecca beamed and stood from the bed, unashamed of her nudity as she walked over to his walk-in closet and threw the doors open looking down at the floor of the closet. Sitting on top if Jude’s shoes was a beautifully wrapped package that had clearly come from Mystique. She kneeled beside the closet and started to undo the bow, opening the package and gasping.

Inside the box was a beautiful harem outfit. The pants were a sheer purple with gold accents and the top was the same color theme. Little gold bells hung off the sleeve and jingled when she unfolded everything and held it out to get a better look at it.

“Oh god…Jude…This is beautiful…did you…?” She drifted off, holding the mesh outfit close to her chest, eyes wide.

“You told me you always wanted to be a dancer.” He said, nodding towards the outfit. “You’re going to dance in this.”

              “I’m going to…Dance?”

“For everyone at the woodshed.” He said with a smile, sitting up and putting his hands on the side of the bed. “I’m not interested in making you a submissive, Rebecca. That’s not who you are. What I want more than anything in the world is to see you happy.”

Jude never expected to care about her this much in this little amount of time but he couldn’t stop the fact that he was falling for her. He hesitated to call it love but…It was definitely something. Rebecca bolted across the room and threw her arms around his neck, laughing as tears pricked the corners of her eyes. No one ever believed in her before. No one else had ever wanted to see her dance and now this wonderful man wanted everyone to see her dance.

Jude was a dream come true.

Chapter Ten

As many times as she’d been to Mystique, Rebecca had never stepped foot in The Woodshed. It was underneath Mystique in a large, finished basement that the owner, Antoine, had converted. Everything was dark and had an old Southern Gothic feel to it. The floor was dark marble and the club was lit by only a few overhead chandeliers and mostly candle light.

By the time Rebecca and Jude arrived, the festivities were already in full swing. A few people were already crowding around as scenes started. Someone had already claimed the medical table and the woman strapped to it was squealing happily as a man ran spiked gloves over her skin.

The room next to that was set up for people who preferred rope work. Rebecca was surprised to see Rume mostly naked and strapped to a strange looking device that forced him to be spread eagle thanks to Red’s skilled knots. She was running her fingers over Rume’s flushed body, making the man moan happily, his head falling forward as he burst into a fit of almost hysterical laughter.

Rebecca’s eyes were wide and she held tightly to Jude’s hand as they made their way through the room. She gripped the heavy coat that she wore to hide the sheer outfit she was wearing and squeezed Jude’s hand, clearly nervous about what was going on in the room.

He kissed the top of her head, brushing his fingers through her delicate curls. “It’s okay. Everyone in here is here because they want to be. If they’re tied up it’s because that’s what they wanted. Antoine has very good dungeon masters. They go around and make sure that everyone is consenting and being safe.”

She nodded and took a deep breath. “I know. It’s just had for me to fathom that people would want stuff like this, you know?” She whispered, glancing around.

“I know, angel.” He said gently, rubbing her back.

They went straight to the bar and Rebecca looked up and down the shelves, noticing that they didn’t have any alcohol. “Why don’t they have booze?”

“No one is allowed in here if their drunk or high. That’s just asking for an accident. Antoine is very ethical in how he runs his clubs. He traveled the world over and went to some of the best BDSM clubs in the world and he’s tried to bring what he learned back to his own dungeons.” He said, ordering a water for himself.

Rebecca ordered a Shirley Temple and nodded, her eyes sweeping the room. “I suppose that’s good.” She was still a little on edge, however.

This was a whole new world to her and she was nervous to dance for all these people. Especially since some of them had strange leather masks on that made them look like ponies or puppies. She swallowed thickly and tried to focus on the little routine she’d worked out in her head. She was going to perform soon and she needed to be on top of her game.

The night dragged on and the longer Rebecca was around these people, the more comfortable she became. Ten o’clock came around and everyone’s scenes began to wind down. The people running the club went around and started shutting all the different sections down, not allowing anyone else to start a scene.

A few of the people who’d been sceneing together were curled up, the submissives wrapped in blankets as they came down from their euphoric high. Once all the of the scenes were finished, Red stepped onto a small stage across the room from the bar and Jude urged Rebecca to stand, leading her towards the stage.

“Ladies, gentleman, puppies and ponies! We have a very special treat for you tonight!” She sang, putting her hands on her cinched waist. She was wearing a bright red corset and skin tight leather pants. Her hair was mile high and her make-up much darker than usual. “A friend of the club, Mr. Larson, has invited his new lady friend to dance for us tonight.”

A few people in the crowd whistled and Red held up her hand, eyes narrowing into a stern gaze. “I know you will all show her the upmost respect and give her your undivided attention.”

Rebecca turned towards Jude, eyes wide as she stared at the fairly large audience that was waiting for her to get on stage. “I…I can’t do this Jude!” She hissed, tears filling her eyes.

“You can. I know you can. You want me to push you to be better? Well, that’s what I’m doing. Take a deep breath and dance. This is what you always wanted, Rebecca. I know it seems scary now but when you do it you’ll be so happy. Trust me, okay?”

Rebecca’s bottom lip shook but she slid her coat off and handed it to Jude, nodding slowly as she stepped up to the stage, waiting for the music to start. Her heart was beating so hard she was sure it would burst right out of her chest but she knew she had to suck it up and do this. Jude was right. If she could get passed the fear and hesitation, she would be more proud of herself than ever.

She stepped onto the stage and turned to face her audience, freezing up for a moment as she stared at them. They were all waiting eagerly to see what she was going to do and she couldn’t move. Her legs quivered underneath her and the faces in the crowd became worried and the whispering started.

Her world became a tunnel and all of the sound magnified and became louder. She couldn’t hear what they were saying but she was sure they were saying nasty things about her and about her exposed body. They were talking about how disappointed the were and how they’d wanted to see a performer.

She was seconds from turning and running off the stage when Rume jumped up and clapped, hooting happily. “Yeah, Becca! You can do it, girl! Show ‘em what you got!”

The sudden cheer snapped her out of her daze and she started to move slowly and hesitantly to the music. As she moved about the stage and people began clapping and whistling, the last of the fear left her mind and she moved easily with all the enthusiasm and skill that she’d thought she’d lost years ago. Soon she was laughing as she moved fluidly and gracefully to the Middle Eastern inspired music.

Her heart swelled with pride and she couldn’t make herself stop grinning. People were crowding the stage, cheering for her happily holding their hands out for her. She reached and touched their hands whenever she got a free moment.

Rebecca’s number ended and she threw her arms out, all but glowing with confidence. She blew kisses to the crowd and ran off the stage, grinning at Jude who was waiting at the bottom of the stage. She all but threw herself into his arms and he caught her with ease, rubbing her back and holding her tight as tears of joy streamed down her face.

She felt free from her anxiety and worry for the first time since her mother died. She felt like she might be okay.
