When his hands let go of my hair, I can still taste the salty drop of pre-come on my tongue. I take off my panties and scoot on top of him again.
"I'm not going to last much longer, Caramel," he says softly, almost apologetically.
"Doesn't matter," I reply with a smile. I straddle him and lower myself over his penis.
He puts a hand around it and guides it towards my opening. Then he pulls me down on top of him. We both emit loud moans when he enters me, fills me. I begin to move, cautiously at first because I am afraid I might hurt him. I make my pelvis rotate, then tilt it, make it rotate again. I brace myself with my hands on his chest as I ride him, but he pulls me down to kiss me passionately. Our tongues meet in a sensuously sweet dance that turns into a battle for the upper hand. He thrusts upward, which causes me to moan into his mouth. Then I brace myself again and sit upright. He puts his hands on my breasts and tugs at my nipples, which sends lightning bolts through my womb. It's obvious that he wants me to come, too. His left hand finds my folds, finds my clit, and rubs it frantically, while his own moans grow louder. Delsin does not hold back at all anymore, and neither do I.
I close my eyes when the now-familiar heat rises from my center and sends me flying. At the same moment, Delsin thrusts upward one more time and empties himself inside me. I lie down on top of him, close my eyes and wait for my breath to calm down again. Delsin places his hands on my back and kisses the crown of my head.
We snuggle close while both wait for our breathing to normalize, enjoying the calm after the frantic lovemaking and the heaviness that invades our limbs. I fall asleep on top of him.
Chapter 12
After we rested, showered and changed our clothes, I called Thally. She is going to join us at the bar tonight. I talked to Steve and Hailey, too, and they're also coming, of course. I feel bad about having spent so little time with Hailey since she arrived. Well, she brought along Delsin. And well, we'll change that tonight.
In the meantime, Delsin and I have been sitting on the porch swing for a while, waiting for the two of them. Thally will come directly to the bar, so I have offered to be the driver for Delsin, Steve and Hailey. My convertible is the most spacious anyway.
"I'd like to test-drive your car, if you let me," Delsin says. I am sitting on his lap while he gently rocks the swing. We've been sitting like that for at least twenty minutes now.
"I'm not sure I can trust you with my baby," I tease him.
"I'm going to take good care of your baby. Am I not taking good care of my sweet Caramel?"
I look into his eyes and see truth in them. "Okay. You can drive there, and I'll drive back," I offer. "Then I can sit in the backseat with Hailey and chat."
His eyes widen in theatrical shock. "Please no more women's talk that’s bound to make me want to swallow estrogen pills, okay?" he makes it sound like a desperate plea.
I laugh and throw my head back. "Promise. I won't be talking about any of that."
"Thank you." He presses a kiss to my cheeks and leans back. Delsin is wearing dark denim jeans and a black shirt that highlights his muscles nicely. I on the other hand am wearing the same thin denim skirt as before, a top with an unbuttoned blouse on top, and my Stetson. Delsin has left his hat inside and combed his bangs into his face. He is looking rather hip and I like that. His perfume smells heavenly, too, so right now I would be content with sitting here all night.
I bury my face in the crook of his neck and take a deep breath.
"What is it, Caramel?"
"Nothing. I simply love your scent."
His laughter vibrates in his chest and tickles my cheek. "I like yours, too, but your taste is even better," he says softly.
This makes me blush once again, and so I merely nod shyly.
"You shouldn't feel ashamed of having sex, Camille," he murmurs and kisses my forehead.
"We're ready if you are," Hailey's voice comes from behind us suddenly. "Whose car?"
"Camille's," Delsin announces.
I get up when Steve steps out of the house, too, and hand my car keys to Delsin.
"Wow. Are you aware it's a miracle she lets you drive? So far, only Avery was allowed to drive her car, apart from herself," Hailey blurts and runs ahead. "I'll sit up front!"
"Hailey, wait. I'd like to sit in the back with you and chat," I call after her.
She turns around. "Only if you let me sit on the backrest," she grins.
"If you take your shoes off. I don't want any stains on the leather," I barter.
"Okay." She climbs in and takes off her shoes, sitting down on the backrest happily.
I get in after her and sit down in the backseat. Delsin hands me my handbag, which I forgot because I was chasing Hailey.
The men sit in the front seats and I put my arms around Delsin's neck from behind. After he has adjusted the seat and mirrors, he starts the engine and steps on the gas.

Fifteen minutes later, we reach the bar. Hailey has a fake ID, too, ever since she started college. We get in without any problem and find a table in a secluded corner. Thally comes in a short time later and joins us. She is wearing a denim skirt, blouse and cowboy boots, too. Hailey is the only one in pants and high heels. We sit down and Delsin studies the menu. I sit next to him, the girls are opposite us, and Steve is at the bar, ordering drinks.
"You know you cannot drink alcohol when you want to drive home later, don't you," Delsin murmurs.
I nod. "I don't plan on getting drunk."
"Okay." He smiles at me.
"And are you a couple again, or is this an affair, or what?" Thally asks, wearing a skeptical expression on her face.
We look at her. "We're on the way to becoming an item again," I decide.
"I see," she smiles.
"I don't care what they are. I want to have fun tonight," Hailey yells, rocking from side to side to the music.
Both my and Thally's eyebrows shoot up at her obvious antsiness.
"What's up with you?" I ask, curious.
"I have spent a few days on your farm now, and I've been trying hard to catch Steve's attention, but nothing happened. So I want to have fun tonight," Hailey explains.
"Stop. You wanted to pick up Steve?" I ask to make sure I understood her correctly.
"Yes. He is good-looking, a cowboy ... a real man. But he isn't the least bit interested in me," she explains her frustration.
"That is because the love of his life left him not that long ago. You might get a one-night-stand out of him, but I don't think that that is his style," I tell her.
Thally clears her throat in an ostentatious manner. We look at her and she nods to the side. Steve is approaching the table with an armload of beer glasses, which he sets down on the table.
"I'll go get myself a Coke," I announce and get up.
"Coke is coming, but I couldn't carry it, so the waitress will bring it to the table," Steve stops me. Then he sits down on the chair at the head of the table.
"Oh." Delsin pulls me close again and puts an arm around me. I snuggle close.
"God, your public display of affection is gross," Hailey gripes.
I look at her, puzzled.
"Don't look at me like that. I'm serious," she defends herself.
"Sorry for enjoying the warmth of his body. I will refrain from snuggling from now on." My Coke arrives and we all raise our glasses and say cheers. I take a large sip and then I get up again: "I'm taking over the dance floor now."
After Delsin has let me pass, Hailey and Thally jump up and follow me. We stroll over to the small dance floor and start skipping and bouncing to the music. We move our hips and have a great time. It doesn't take long before two men are dancing next to us. They have obviously set their eyes on Hailey and Thally. My own moves are more reserved than theirs, and I can feel Delsin's eyes on me. He would not like it if I danced with other guys but not him. When I turn, I suddenly freeze.
"Hello, Camille," he says.
I want to take a step backwards, but he has already grabbed me and does not let me go.
"Please let go of me, Kieran," I demand, but I know that I don't sound certain enough.
"Well ... this is my dad's establishment, and you're not even twenty-one. So I guess you're going to want to talk to me, or else I'll make sure you're all being kicked out," he says and stares at me menacingly. He stands in front of me and blocks the view, so Delsin cannot see me.
"What do you want?" I ask, trying to sound calm. I feel like screaming with fright.
"I want to talk to you, Camille." Then his hand clamps down on my upper arm and he leads me out the front door. Outside, he does not let go of my arm, but drags me into a dark corner. "Your friends are distracted, so nobody is going to miss you."
When he finally lets go of me, I take a few steps backward. I want to be out of reach. "What do you want from me, Kieran?" I repeat my question, crossing my arms in front of my chest.
"Why didn't you call me, Camille?" Kieran sounds businesslike, as if he were about to negotiate with me.
"I left you, in case you do not remember, because you did not treat me well," I say calmly.
He takes a step towards me, which makes me take another step back. Why do I never carry my phone in my pocket when I need it? That is annoying.
"And if I remember correctly, I did not accept you leaving me. You didn't call, not once, and now you barge into my father's bar, holding hands with some other guy. Tell me, Camille, do you want to make me look ridiculous in front of my friends?" he says, his tone insistent and frightening.
Great. Within the span of about three weeks, Delsin turns my world upside down, and now I have to run into my dangerous ex. Can it get any worse?
"I didn't know you were here, and I didn't even think about it. I haven't told anyone how you treated me; everybody thinks you left me, so why would this be about making you look ridiculous? What's wrong with you, Kieran?"
He takes another step towards me and I step back. "Stay where you are, Camille."
"No way."
Suddenly he moves quickly enough to grab me again. He presses me against the wall of the building. "Why do you have to provoke me like that?" he growls, clearly seeing red.
"Let me go, Kieran. Please let me go." I hope that my fear is not obvious in my eyes, in my voice.
Kieran strikes out and it looks as if he wants to hit me in the face, but then he lowers his hand again in the last moment. "You should go home now," he says instead, but he does not let go of me. "That would be best, but I think I'm going to call the police instead."
"Go ahead so I can finally tell them what you did to me. I still have the medical documentation," I counter.
He pulls me away from the wall and then shoves me back against it. It hurts. "Are you threatening me?"
"No. But I want justice to take its course," I gasp.
He repeats his pull-and-shove motion, and this time the back of my head hits the wall. "Kieran, please let me go," I whimper. I feel dizzy and nauseous. "Please let me go."
But just as I feared, he does not let me go, but shoves me against the wall a third time, knocking the breath from my lungs. Then he strikes out again, this time hitting my cheek with great force. I can feel my lip split and my head jerk to the side violently. "You have to provoke me, don't you? It has always been like that, but I thought I had exorcised that. I must have been wrong, for you are still a cheeky bitch," he raves.
"If anything, she is my cheeky bitch, you damn asshole," Delsin says in a dangerous whisper behind him, before he pulls Kieran back by his collar and shoves him against the wall, face-forward and using much more force than Kieran did with me.
I flinch and start to shiver. "Stop. He's not worth it, Delsin."
He leans down to Kieran, who is doubled up and looking pale. "If you ever try to come near her again, or even look at her, I'm going to kill you," Delsin says in a frighteningly calm voice. "Did I make myself clear?" he then suddenly yells.
"Yeah," Kieran gasps.
Delsin looks at me and reaches out his hand, which I grab with my shaky one. "And if my girlfriend wants to have a good time in this bar, you're going to frigging leave her alone. Understood?"
"Sure," Kieran says. He struggles to stand straight again.
He looks at me. His nose is all bloody and looks crooked. I'm sure it is broken. "This isn't over yet, Camille," he says.
"Did you just threaten her?" Delsin asks angrily.
"No. I warned her," Kieran growls and staggers off.
I tremble all over, so Delsin pulls me into his arms. "It's okay, Caramel. He won't hurt you again," he whispers and kisses the crown of my head.
"I want to go home," I say, my voice back to very, very small.
"To your home?" Delsin wants to know. "Or shall we drive to my dad's house?"
"I don't know," I say, still way too distraught to think clearly.
Delsin puts an arm around me and leads me to my car. Hailey and Thally stand next to it and look at me with worried expressions. "Where did you go?" Hailey asks.
