“Want. It.”

“Let me ask you something before I fill your mouth. If you were walking by a window and I was just inside, stroking myself. Would you watch, Azure? Would you watch me take myself in hand, rubbing until I spurted? Or would you be brave enough to knock on my door and ask me to come inside you?”

“Too chicken,” Azure panted. “Just watching,” she hissed through clenched teeth, “no knocking on the door.”

“Okay then, there’s my answer.” He moved his large thigh over her, dangling his throbbing sack over her face until he was just out of reach. She rubbed herself furiously, gripping her fingers until he knew her flesh would be raw. So he gripped his dick just as hard, stroking it for her while she watched on in fascination as he worked around his piercings with an expert hand.

A hunger clawed through her body, scenting the room with fresh arousal. She opened her mouth for him, but he kept what she wanted at bay. “You’re watching, remember?” That was when he thrust all three fingers deep inside her ass, and he held them there as he felt hers rub on the other side of her sheath. “I can feel you stroke my hand, faster, faster, faster. Ah, work it, baby. That’s it. Come for your man.” And just like that, she rolled into climatic overload. And he followed her. Squeezing his head as his sack tightened impossibly, before shooting hot jets across her body, one after the other. He shuddered with her, saying her name as a benediction since he couldn’t roar like the Beast he was.

But that would soon change.

Very soon she would have to find out what he was.

Reaching down, he pulled her mouth open, pushing his thumb through her clenched teeth before settling his cock head inside. “Suck it. Clean me the way I clean you.”

He pressed his face in her sex, rolling it all over her weeping flesh, enjoying the softness and the heady scent while also marking his body with her offering. “That’s it. Yes. Taste me.” He lifted his head and watched her throat move as she ate his seed, pulling a part of him inside her body. “You belong to me, Azure Malloy.”

He moaned loud and long, wanting to prolong their intimacy, but knew better. There was a time and a place; however, this wasn’t it. Yet. Gage got inside her head, commanding her in the barest of ways even though he was entitled to do more as her mate:
You will rest now.
She needed to adjust and rest from her heat. But he hated it all the same. Honesty was never much of a hitch until he found her. Now he wanted everything out in the open. Wanted her to understand what he was to her and how important she was to him.

Those golden eyes fluttered down, closing, they were erringly similar to Sayer’s. Well, when he was fed properly and could control his Habaline blood, otherwise his glittered like the stars. She lifted her lids again, trying to fight it with everything she had. That feisty part was her Were side. She sensed something amiss. Only she wasn’t strong enough to do anything about it. Then she was out, slow even breaths leaving her delicious body.

Since Gage was a hypocrite of the worst kind, he quickly covered Azure when Jayce misted in. And just how many times had he watched Tatum on that stupid hard drive? He threaded his fingers through his hair, pulling at a chunk. He’d never wanted to see that thing again, crushed it to powder with his fist just last night. No longer could he get hard for anyone but Azure. She owned him.

“You and Sayer are good to go, man.”

“Just the two of us?” Gage gaped, stunned. Then a heavy pulse of relief coursed through his body. No other male claimed her.

“Yeah.” Jayce glanced at an incoming text. “Between just now and those others who were at her place last night” – his eyes flipped back up at Gage – “I heard you were reading her some kind of book.”

Gage rolled his shoulder, shifting uncomfortably. He didn’t want to discuss Azure’s reading habits with his Alpha. Yup, he was a fucking hypocrite. “Sure did.”

“Okay, well. Enough males showed up for me to call it.” Jayce chuckled, “Congrats, my man. Go to it.”

“And what’s with the funny?”

Jayce stopped laughing, cocking a knowing grin instead. “All except Rock.”

“That’s because he doesn’t want a female.”

“Cause he doesn’t know how much better the sex is. The way these female Were’s grip on their true mates. Shit. It’s off the charts.”

“So I have more to look forward to?” Gage never paid much attention when the males were discussing their mates; he found their conversations boring. Now? Not so much.

“Let’s just say you’ll have a nice smile on your face come morning. You’ll see.”

Sayer misted in. “My best wishes for your unborn.”

“Yeah, thanks. Tatum’s still pissed about the witnessing thing. But history has a tendency to repeat itself. And I don’t want anyone saying that kid’s not mine.”

“Can you imagine trying to explain away your blood properties with a DNA test? Or how many humans we’d have to wipe afterwards?”

“No. And now, that’s one less worry.” He rubbed his hand over his mouth but didn’t lose his smile. “Only Bren’s allowed in our bed right now.”

“Ah” - Gage shrugged – “she’ll get over it.”

Jayce addressed Sayer, “Tatum and I are due at that Autism fundraiser with you tomorrow night, representing our firm. The Pack gives back to the community, takes it seriously, and we need to stay respectable in the public eye.”

“Don’t worry, Alpha. I’ll keep my Beast leashed.” Sayer’s eyes kept flicking over at Azure. “No worries,” he replied, “unless rogue vampires pay us a visit.”

“That’s my point. My pregnant wife is not going. Vampires hate public confrontations, so with plenty of guards they’re certain to stay away. But she needs rest and I’m not risking any stress on her while our son’s growing in her belly. We need to adjust my schedule around her pregnancy.”

“Of course, we will. This baby is paramount to all of us,” Gage said. “Azure and I can join Sayer, filling in,” he suggested. He could take Azure on a night out with the numerous guards already lined up. “I’ll work the floor, spurring up more interest in the cause. Azure will help with those half-way house projects. Well, at least with the first one. Anyway, this event will give our mate an opportunity to network with local celebrities and milk their heavy pockets for donations.”

“Yes, she needs to acclimate to this lifestyle. It wasn’t easy for me.” Sayer kept his eyes on her, fixed like a hungry predator. “Sometimes jumping in is better than easing in.”

“A man after my own heart,” Jayce laughed and held a hand out to shake his in the human way. “Let me know if you need anything, Sayer. Things are looking up for you. We can all help, but only you can make it happen.”

“I intended on making a lot of things happen this night.”

“And that’s my cue to kick it.” Jayce misted away with a broad smile.

Gage turned to Sayer. “Is Jude going to help you move your things?”

“Yes, we’re leaving now.” Sayer misted to the bed and placed his lips on Azure’s forehead, almost as if he were afraid to break her.

“Don't worry, you’ll be fine with her.”

“I listened to what you were doing to her, bringing her to ecstasy repeatedly. I want to do that, as well. I will fill all her needs. I” – his hands were opening and closing at his sides, fisting – “I want to touch her everywhere, learn her female body, put my hands around her breasts and kiss the pointy tips. I want to lick her sex. By its scent, I think it must taste divine.” A look of dread washed his features. “But I want to drink her more than I want to live.”

“I have a couple of Species friends, that’s normal. You may fear getting too excited your first go around with a female, but you won't hurt your own Bride. And if you get out of control, I'll be there to hold you back until you can settle down. Just as you will for me. She’s half immortal and can take more than any human female can, but still, we will treat her body with the respect she deserves. Now, go. Go so you can come back quickly. And make that offer to her friend, Nick, while you’re there. ”

“And then,” he trailed off, closing his eyes.

“And then you’re home Sayer, a
real
home. Not a pri -,” he caught himself before he said it.

“Prison?” Sayer finished instead.

“Yeah, not in a prison you share with countless males. More important than that is the fact that you have a family now. Well, as soon as we convince Azure of it.” He shrugged, not worried in the least. “That may take some work.”

Sayer’s eyes widened at that thought. “I’m thinking she’ll continue to be stubborn with me.”

Gage laughed quietly. “Ah, Sayer, as long as you know that going in, you’ll be just fine.”

Chapter Twelve
A
zure huffed, “I don’t know why you insist on this.”
Or why I’m allowing it.
She squeezed her knees together, placing her chin on top of them as the warm water swished around her body courtesy of low, pulsating jets. The kind Will had in his bathroom somewhere down below
in this same freaking building.

Gage’s smooth lips kicked up into a smile. The kind of smile given by naughty boys before they plowed through an ant hill. “I’ve never bathed a woman before.” He lifted one heavy shoulder and let it drop, a lazy shrug from a powerful body. “Indulge me, Azure.”

He reached over and grabbed something labeled gel moussant by COCO and loaded up a natural sea sponge. She couldn’t believe how much he spread on the thing. Nick had a bottle just like that in his shower. Had offered it to Azure, but she’d refused on principal alone. One of his rich lover’s had left it there, and it sold for more than fifty bucks a pop. She couldn’t afford to get used to such extravagance, and when she finally polished it off, she would have to go back to the generic stuff. And that would just suck.

She ran her eyes over it, avoiding his. For a tiny bottle like that, she figured liquid gold would pour out of the thing instead of fragrant soap - woman’s soap. Oh, God, she whipped her head back so hard she hit the dark tile. She’d messed around with the Eros, a god she couldn’t resist, and now she was using his standard surplus. He probably had a thousand new toothbrushes under those cabinets.

His perfect nose scrunched up. “I’d rather this be unscented.”

After a deep inhale, she said, “What’s not to like about that?”

“It masks your natural fragrance.” He started soaping her, rolling soft circles over her skin. Neck and shoulders, easing down over her arms, no matter how hard she fought, she was lost to his touch, didn’t want him to stop. His arm grazed her face, biceps scraping her check as he washed her upper back. Arms so large, just like the rest of him, she realized.

“So why do you keep it here.”

“Keep it? Ah,” he chuckled in a male way. “You think I have lovers in and out. True?”

“Well, your business isn’t mine,” she muttered, wishing that she didn’t sound so petulant over a man she just met.

“I prefer the direct approach.” He lifted her chin, regarding her with glittering blue eyes, which were darkening quickly, reflecting the depths of his desire. And it shook her. Touched her in some way she couldn’t explain.
Look at your male
. That temptation called her again, a voice familiar but, not a part of her conscious. A masculine smile lifted the corners of his lips again. “From the beginning, I told you that I wanted you. You. If you think that other women have been in this house, you are mistaken. I just moved here, remember?”

“Yes, but -”

“Anything here,” he said, motioning to the soap and other luxurious toiletries and makeup lined up on the vanity, “is for you. I asked Tatum to have anything a beautiful woman needed sent over. She did me a favor by ordering them
just for you
. Along with some clothes you’ll need for our outings. I haven’t checked on those, but I’m sure they’re hanging in the closet as we speak.” She opened her mouth to protest – Azure wasn’t penniless, she was just saving for her new condo - but the words never had the chance to leave her throat. In a blurring movement, he closed his mouth over hers, licking at her lips, nibbling at the bottom one, twirling the tip of his tongue with hers without delving deep.

“Damn it,” he gasped, panting with her when they separated, “every part of you feels like heaven.” Azure thought that Gage was heaven. He was gloriously naked. With emphasis placed squarely on the glorious. His sack was so large and heavy, she shivered remembering how it felt draping across her face while he jerked his monster. Even now, without an erection, his sex hung straight down between his legs, long and formidable, with scary and exiting piercings she still couldn’t fathom. A forboding presence she couldn’t imagine inside her. And if he worked that thing the same way that he did his fingers, she would be ruined for any other man. Cliché? Yes, but true. There would be no one comparable. No one.

She wished that she hadn’t had a taste of him, wished he’d never come into her life. Wished she’d never let her inner whore out of the closet. Because there was something different at work here, a binding between them that she couldn’t shake. Just like her aching jaw from sucking off the remnants of his orgasm. She started massaging it with her fingertips, but he pushed them away, taking over instead. The bit that she had taken in her mouth made her jaw sore. But the feel of his steely flesh across her tongue – the taste of it – was an experience she would never forget.

Gage ran the tip of his moist tongue across her jawline and strange tingling sensation ensued, warming the muscles while relaxing her with a strange electrical current. But her imagination had a tendency to run amok, especially in her dreaming state, so she blew the sensation off to static and nothing more.

“Better?”

She nodded her head yes and opened and closed her mouth a few times. “Yes, thanks.” Of course, he went back to the washing, pulling one foot up to slip that incredible sponge over her arch. A mirrored twinge went straight to her core, tugging inside her vagina. If he knew what he was doing, he was playing it off. He proceeded to wash between every toe. In and out. In and out. Suds ran down, trickling the same way that moisture trickled inside her heat. He kissed her arch. “Master of seduction,” she mumbled when he went to the other foot. She’d closed her eyes against his male beauty, but she felt him smile against her inner ankle.
