Jay felt between her legs and she was moist. He was already hard from kissing her. He pushed her back on the bed and kissed around her thighs. Scarlett enjoyed the moment, because Jay never did any of the things that he was doing to her now. He would only come over and talk for a while followed by getting his dick sucked and beating that pussy from the front, back, and side to side.

“Damn, Scarlett you smell good.”

It must be that Honey Suckle bubble bath and the lotion,
she thought.

“Thanks Jay—”

“Shhh,” he said. “Don’t thank me. Just know that these are the things I like in a woman.”

Mentally noted.

Scarlett could feel Jay’s breath on her shaved pussy.

Is he gonna do it?
She wondered. Jay kissed it then licked it. His tongue went around her clit.
Oh
my goodness,
she screamed on the inside. He licked her pussy so good and begged her to cum on his tongue. The sound of his voice enticed her and she moved her clit up and down on his tongue until she exploded. Her libido throbbed on Jay’s mouth and excited him more.

“Damn, baby,” he whispered. She was shocked. He never called her baby before.

Jay inserted his finger inside her pussy making her moan. He pulled his shirt off along with his pants. Before Scarlett knew it, he was butt naked and on top of her. He slid his thickness inside her and kissed her passionately. She was turned the fuck on. Jay held her around her tiny waist with his muscular arms and she rode him from the bottom as if she was on the top. He moaned in her ear and it was the sexiest sound she’d ever heard.

Her pussy was wetter than it had ever been and Jay slid in and out of it with extreme satisfaction. Things were getting intense between them and Jay could feel that he was about to bust one. Her shit was so good, he didn’t care if she was on something or not, because he let go inside her and laughed when it was over.

“Why are you laughing?” she asked.

“Because I feel damn good,” he responded. “I never knew this shit could be so good.” Scarlett loved the words that were coming out of his mouth. “What’s wrong, babe?” he asked, because Scarlett was just lying there lost in thoughts that she didn’t want to end.

She caught herself and had to come back quickly. “Jay, this is a feeling that I can’t explain. I mean I like you so much and I don’t want us to stop messing around with each other.”

“I don’t want us to stop this either—”

“But, you’ll be right back in Sheila’s face before you know it,” she interrupted.

Jay was quiet. He knew that he and Sheila’s dates were great, but he didn’t have that chemistry with her.

“I can’t lie, I do like Sheila, but I don’t know if she has what it takes for me to wanna settle down with her.”

“And I do?”

“I never said you didn’t.”

“But you never cared or wanted people to know about us, either.”

“Not that again. I thought we were getting past that?” he questioned.

“We are, but you’re now dating Sheila and she has really started liking you.”

“I know, but—”

“But, have you slept with her yet?”

“No, I haven’t slept with her yet. She plays hard to get.”

“So, when she’s tired of playing hard to get, then what?”

“Please don’t talk about that right now,” Jay sighed, clearly frustrated.

“Then what?” Scarlett pressured.

“Then we’ll cross that bridge when it comes.” He pushed back.

“Jay,” Scarlett called.

“Just relax and enjoy the moment. I always tell you that you think too much. Just go with the flow.” He suggested.

“Am I the only one you’re sleeping with?” Scarlett asked.

“Quit talking so much. We have to go to work in the morning.”

Scarlett turned her back to him. She didn’t want to ruin the moment with all her questions. Plus, she was a changed woman, and the best of everything had just begun. Jay put his arm around her and fell asleep. Scarlett felt like she was in heaven because nothing this great had ever happened in her life concerning the man she cared so much about.

Chapter Nine

Anton awoke and peeked out of his bedroom window that was right above his head. Scarlett hadn’t come home at all. He didn’t want to worry, because she had called him that night and told him she may be late coming in, but she didn’t say she wasn’t coming in at all.

He walked down the hallway and into her bedroom. He was shocked to see how clean it was, and the bed was actually made up for a change. He couldn’t believe it. He walked back out of the room and called Scarlett’s cell phone. It was 7:45 a.m. and she should have at least been home, so she could get ready for work. Scarlett’s phone rang over and over until it went to voicemail. Anton didn’t like the feeling that he was getting.

“Where are you, Sis?” He dialed her number again and on the third ring, she answered.

“What’s up, Ant?”

“What’s up, Ant?” he mocked her with his deep voice. “Why the hell you ain’t answer the first time? I was worried about your ass and where you at?”

“Damn, Daddy I didn’t know you’d be waiting up for me,” she laughed.

“Don’t downplay this, Sis. I was worried after you didn’t come in at all last night or this morning.” Scarlett could tell Anton was sincere and she hated that she worried him like that, but it felt good to know he really did love her.

“I’m sorry, Ant. I didn’t mean to scare you. I stayed the night in Statesboro with a friend and I’m heading to work right now. I don’t have time to drop by the house, so I’m going straight there.”

“Okay, sis, that’s all you had to say. So did you have fun with this friend?”

“As a matter of fact I had a wonderful time.” She was still feeling the thrill from her night with Jay.

“I can hear it in your voice, and I’m glad you enjoyed yourself. Next time, just call and say something.”

“Ant,” she said ignoring his comment. “Is Gwen there?”

“I’m not sure. She wasn’t here when I in, and that was after one this morning.”

“Hmmm… we need to sit down and talk when I get off today. I would like to discuss Gwen’s living arrangements.” Anton had an idea where she was going with this, but he didn’t want to jump to any conclusions.

“Okay, that’s cool, sis. Have a good day at work, and I’ll make sure I’m here when you get off.”

“Thanks, Ant. I’ll see you later and I love you.”

“I know you do, Sis.” Ant ended the call.

Scarlett was proud of Anton. It seemed he finally had a wakeup call. He was probably even thinking that their lives could be so much better without Gwen too. His attitude seemed to change overnight, as well. Now all she had to do was convince him that Gwen needed to be out on her own, and he’ll see how much better their lives could really be.

After hanging up, Anton walked to Gwen’s bedroom door and lightly tapped on it. He thought he’d heard a murmur of some kind come from behind it. He lightly knocked again and the door pushed open. He was shocked. Gwen was on her knees giving Ed, the neighborhood drunk, a blowjob.

“Ma, what in the hell are you doing?” he yelled.

Ed snatched his pants up.

“I was just leaving,” he stammered and jumped out of the open window. Gwen sat on the floor like that was her last resort to get her hit. She looked at Anton and rolled her eyes.

“He hadn’t even given me the money yet!” she yelled.

“What?” Anton grabbed his head. He couldn’t believe what Gwen had just said to him. “Are you crazy and that hard up for drugs, Ma?” He kicked a hole in the wall. He wanted to kick Gwen, but he knew if he put his foot up to her head, he would kick it right off of her body. He was BLOWED! “What were you thinking? You’re in here sucking 10-10’s dick. What the fuck, man!”

“I needed money. My body hurts, son. I need a hit real bad.” She sat balled up on the floor, scratching her arms like she had the chicken pox or a terrible case of eczema.

“Ma, what in the hell can 10-10 do for you? Do you not know that they call him 10-10, because all he can afford is a dime of weed and a dime of crack? The man got two teeth in his whole mouth and you’re on the floor sucking his dick! Are you kidding me?” He watched her on the floor crying like a baby. She was done. “Ma, you need help. You need to go to rehab, because once Scarlett finds out about this-“

“You wouldn’t dare!” she interrupted. Anton looked at her.

She was clearly sick and needed help, but he couldn’t help a person who wasn’t about to help herself.

Gwen got up and straightened the dingy clothes hanging from her body. She looked at Anton. “I have to get outta here,” she said and rushed past him, exiting the house.

Anton started to run behind her, but he couldn’t. He was hurt by what he caught her doing with Ed. He sat on the couch, pulled out a Newport, and lit it. He laid his head back and sighed. He wished that he had never entered her room.

While taking a third puff off his cigarette, his phone rang and he looked at the caller ID. It was Miley, the Puerto Rican chick who lived around the block. He’d been having relations with her on and off for the last past six months, but he wasn’t feeling her like he used to, since talking with Samantha.

He answered. “What’s up, Miley?”

“Hey handsome,” she said. “What are you doing?”

“I’m chilling, that’s about it. Why you ain’t in school?”

“Because I thought I’d stay home and chill with you for the day. I haven’t heard from you in over two weeks. Every time I call, you’re either busy or you don’t answer.”

“Yeah, I know.” he responded.

“So, can I come see you?”

Anton thought about Samantha. He was really feeling her, but he hadn’t tapped that ass yet. He wanted to respect her body and not ask her for something she wasn’t ready to offer.

“Hell, why not,” he said. “The front door will be unlocked.” He puffed on his cigarette and thought he’d get up and take a quick shower before Miley arrived. If she came while he was in the shower, then she’d know to sit down and wait for him to come out.

Anton stepped out of the shower and dried off. He wrapped the towel around his waist and walked out of the bathroom. Miley was sitting on the couch waiting for him, just like he’d predicted. She turned and looked at him with a lovely smile on her face. She was pretty, sitting there with a short pink mini-skirt on and a fitted white tee. Her hair was pulled up in a curly ponytail, and it swayed back and forth, as she made her way over to him.

“Can I have what’s under this towel?” She moved it from around his waist. His manhood was erect, as he stood there naked with a smile on his face.

“If you want it, you got to take it.” He grinned.

“You know I don’t have a problem with that.”

Before Anton could say another word, he heard a familiar voice.

“Knock, knock, knock, coming in.”

Anton saw the front door opening.
Oh, SHIT!
He thought as Samantha appeared in his doorway. Samantha stood there with her hands on her hips as Miley turned to address her.

“Hey Samantha, what are you doing here?”

“I was just about to ask you the same thing,” she said, watching Anton’s extended manhood.

Anton grabbed the towel. “Baby, what are you doing here? I thought you’d be in school.”

“I’m sure you did, and I was coming over to see you, but obviously your hands are full.”

“Oh wow, you two talk?” Miley asked.

“WE USED TO!” Samantha grabbed her face and ran out of the house in tears. Anton tried to catch her, but he caught himself before going outside with nothing on but a towel.
Damn.

“Why didn’t you lock the door behind you?”

“I thought I did,” Miley responded.

Anton was confused and didn’t know what to do. “I think it’s time for you to leave now, and how the hell do y’all know each other?”

“We’re on the same cheerleading squad. If you went to school, you would know that.” Miley rolled her eyes and walked out.

Anton was speechless. He picked up his box of Newports and fired up another one. He sat on the couch with the towel wrapped around his waist. He felt bad for Samantha and Miley because neither knew about the other. He knew he was at fault and would somehow have to make it up to Samantha, if nobody else.
Damn, what a fucked up morning.

__________

Sheila sat at her desk, humming as if she’d gotten laid, but Scarlett knew better because Jay was with her overnight. Sheila smiled and looked over at Scarlett.

“Your hair is still very pretty. I thought it would have been all over your head this morning being that you don’t know how to wrap your hair and shit.”

“I’ll take that as a compliment, Sheila. Plus, Joan taught me how to wrap my hair yesterday before I left the beauty salon.”

Sheila put on a fake smile. “I see you’re dressed in a nice Coogi sundress today. Joan must’ve given you that in her Goodwill boxes.”

“Yes, she did and I must say that it looks good on me. God knew that I’d put Joan’s clothes to good use.” Scarlett grinned because even though this dress was worn, it still felt new, because this was her first time wearing it.

Sheila knew that Scarlett had a crush on Jay, even though she never mentioned it, by the way she’d gaze at him, thinking no one was looking. But Sheila knew Jay would drop dead before he’d be seen with Scarlett, even if she did just have an extreme makeover. She hated knowing that Scarlett was finding herself, and the person she had found was beautiful and confident, unlike the old Scarlett she once knew.

“I’m gonna give Jay some of this good ole’ pussy this weekend.” Scarlett felt the bile coming up in her throat. “Did you hear me, Scarlett?”

“Yeah, I heard you, Sheila. What makes you wanna do that so soon?”

“It’s not too soon. I’ve known Jay since he started working here almost three years ago.”

“And how well do you think you know him?” Scarlett asked.

“I know him well enough to know that his family has mad paper and he’s not at all living pay check to pay check.” Sheila laughed, but Scarlett didn’t think it was that funny.

She smirked at Sheila. “So, let me get this right.” She paused. “You didn’t like him before, because he was beneath your standards, and now that you’ve found out that his family has a lot of bread you want to give him some of your good ole’ pussy?”
