“Rafe, I need…Please,” and before she knew it he pinched her clit and she came on a loud cry.

Rafe pulled out and pulled Kelly towards the bed. “On your knees, baby,” he said as he helped her onto the bed. He slammed home again as soon as she was in position. He stood on the side of the bed, ramming repeatedly into her.

Kelly felt another orgasm grip her. How was this possible? She wanted to wait for him, but he kept hitting the right spot everytime,
rubbing her walls with his huge cock. Every slide in and out was both torture and heaven. “Rafe,” she moaned.

“Come for me baby.” He slammed harder and faster and as she was gripped in that orgasm he trembled with the force of it and roared as he followed her lead. “Don’t move,” he said to her and went to grab a wet cloth.

Kelly was already half alseep, but was grateful for the warm cloth Rafe used in between her legs. She crawled into the center of the bed when he lifted the covers off. He came back from the bathroom and took her into his arms. “Rafe?”

“Sleep baby.

Kelly finally succumbed to sleep.

Nine

Kelly walked into the restaurant ten minutes late. It had been crazy the last hour at the hospital. And to top it off, Brad had come calling again. “Sorry, I’m late,” Kelly said hugging Ana.

“Brad?” Ana asked.

She grimaced. “Yes. What is it with men and assumptions?” she asked Ana. “He saw me wearing this sezy little number and thought I was meeting a guy. That’s when he got really ugly. I didn’t want to correct him, but I wondered if he would believe me if I told him, and when I did he just said, ‘oh’ and didn’t even bother to apologize.”

Ana shrugged.
“Boys like him don’t apologize.” They stopped their conversation to order, then Ana picked it back up. “And so how are things with Rafe?’

Kelly laughed. “Yesterday I had planned on killing you.”

Ana looked at her in amazement.

Kelly sipped her glass of wine. “
You seemed to be having a lot of fun at my expense and Rafe just kept sticking to me like glue.”

“Kelly, you are one to talk, but didn’t you have fun at my expense before I even started dating Gabe?” she asked. “If you remember that day we all went out to dinner, when you agreed to dinner and thereby forcing me to accept too. Oh, no, you don’t missy,” she said to her when she tried to get a word in. “I remember how we sat in the limo and I was practically in Gabe’s lap. Aren’t you the one who pushed me into his arms?”

Kelly groaned remembering. “I may have. But it was so much fun then. But yesterday not so much.”

“And now?”

“Now we are good. We talked a bit last night and early this morning again. He apologized and told me he knew I wasn’t going back to Brad and then agreed not to threaten Brad in any way. Unless he places his hands on me.”

“Does he know about your suspicions?”

Kelly shook her head. “Oh God, no! Thank God for that. And I just hope Brad keeps to verbal abuse, because that I can deal with. If he touches me I know it will start small and will only be a matter of time before it escalates.”

Their food came and they ate talking about their living arrangements. Ana promised to start looking for an apartment for Stefano, now that she was fit again.
She would have to carry most of the research online and then go and view the places once she narrowed down the places. They both agreed they hadn’t had such a hard time when they had looked for their own place. Or where one bedroomed apartments just that much harder to find? Definitely more expensive and smaller.

A few days later Ana and Kelly passed by their apartment. They had just spent a couple of hours doing some charity work. “We should order pizza,” Kelly said as they took the elevator to their floor.

“We should. Just like old times,” Ana agreed.

As soon as Fuzzy opened their front door, they both heard shouting from him and someone in their apartment. Jimmy grabbed them and pulled them back then went to join his partner.

“Do you think that guy broke into our apartment?” Ana asked.

Kelly shrugged. She opened the door slowly and peeped in. “Oh, God. Ana, it’s Vinny.” She pushed the door wider and ran inside.

Ana followed and looked at Vinny, seeing lots of blood dripping from his front. She hadn’t heard any shots being fired. Were the guys using silencers? She heard Fuzzy scream at Kelly to stand back, but Kelly ignored him and ran to Vinny. Ana dodged Jimmy and followed Kelly who was already pu
shing Vinny into a chair.

“He’s a friend,” Ana explained when they both continued raising their guns at Vinny.

Fuzzy swore. “A mobster?”

“Alleged,” they both answered, not taking their eyes off Vinny.

“What the hell happened Vinny? And why the B&E?”

Vinny laughed. “You staying glued to Law & Order, Kelly?”

Ana hissed at him. “We don’t have much time, Vinny,” she warned looking at Jimmy who was on the phone. He was either talking to Gabe or Rafe, and it was just a matter of time before they had company.

“Let’s see,” Kelly said already lifting Vinny’s t-shirt from his body. “What the hell, Vinny?”

“Sorry, got careless and thus the stab wound. Can you stitch me up?” he asked and fluttered his eyes at them.

“Ever heard of a place called a hospital, Vinny?” Ana asked him.

“Hospitals have to report stab wounds, so couldn’t chance it.”

“Watch him A
na, while I collect my supplies,” she told her. “And stop fluttering your eyes at us,” she told Vinny.

“Don’t you have a family physician?” Ana asked him as Kelly ran to her bedroom.

Vinny laughed and cried out in pain. “You mean mob physician?”

Ana knelt in front of him and squeezed close to the wound she had seen Kelly reveal. “Arg! Ana.”

“Don’t get smart with me. Right now I’m the only reason why you don’t have a bullet hole next to your knife wound. And any minute now, all hell is going to break lose, so you need to start talking. What happened?”

“Take off your shirt,” Kelly said
to Vinny as she knelt next to Ana. “Ana, I need you to get a bottle of something strong from Gabe’s stash. Brandy or whisky, whatever for Vinny to drink. Then I need you to help me.”

Ana moved to the side to give Kelly room
, then she stood up to do Kelly’s bidding. When she came back, Kelly had cleaned the wound and dried blood from Vinny’s side where she could see the ugly wound. Jimmy and Fuzzy were hanging in the background, their weapons close by, but at least no longer threatening the poor guy.

“Drink up, Vinny,” Kelly said pointing to the bottle in Ana’s hand. “Ana, the gloves.”

Ana opened the bottle and gave it to Vinny who took two huge sips, then handed the bottle back to Kelly. As she took the gloves beside Kelly, Kelly grabbed the bottle from Vinny and placed it beside her.

“What the fuck, Kelly?” he screamed in pained.

“What, Vinny? You afraid of a little over the counter alcohol?” she poured more onto his wound then placed the plastic bottle on the floor beside her and picked the brandy Vinny had been drinking then gave the bottle back to him. “Here, you will need it.”

“You could have at least warned me,” he grumbled.

“What’s the fun in that, Vinny?”

“I’m ready. What should I do?” Ana asked.

“Help keep him down. It’s going to hurt like a bitch, since he refuses to go to a proper hospital.”

“Okay,” Ana said and placed her hands on Vinny’s legs.

“Ready everyone?” Kelly asked.

“Wait,” Vinny said and took another huge sip. “Ready now.”

Just as Kelly was about to make the first stitch the door opened and two angry men entered. Kelly and Ana swore as they heard Rafe shout “Stop.”

“Vinny, stay the fuck down,” Kelly hissed at him.

“I need my gun, I hate being outnumbered and defenseless.”

Ana laughed. “I hate to break it to you cousin Vinny, but you were outumbered and defenseless before those two men entered. Now stay put,” Ana hissed at him.

Vinny apparently realized the truth in that statement, so he deflated like a balloon and lay back down. Why he had faith in the two girls he had no idea. Now the two angry men were beside him, one on each side.

“Kelly, why do you have a mobster in your apartment, or better yet, why does it look like you are about to patch him
up?” Rafe asked stepping closer to her. “You too Ana,” he added looking in her direction.

“I need both of you to step away from him.” Gabe
told them stepping to Ana’s side and lifting her from the floor.

“No Gabe,
don’t.” Ana looked over to where Kelly was beside her and saw Rafe lifting her up too, and Kelly struggling to get out of his hold.

“Let go! Right now Rafe, ” Kelly shouted.

Ana scrambled out of Gabe’s hold as soon as he froze at Kelly’s words.

“The two of you need to step aside. Whatever you need to say can be said after I’ve patched Vinny up. The longer I wait, the higher the chances are for an infection.”

“Kelly, this guy is dangerous. And if he threatened you in any way…”

Kelly snorted. Ana laughed.

“What did I say?” Rafe asked perplexed but still angry at them.

“Vinny wouldn’t hurt us. Now step aside like two good boys and let me get back to work,” she said to them.

“I’m not going anywhere,” Rafe said refusing to budge.

Kelly looked at Gabe.

He shook his head,” Neither am I.”

Kelly looked at them with exasperation. “Fine, but just stay out of my way,” she told them, pointing her forefinger at them individually. “Ana, let’s get this done
,” she said already kneeling back down on the floor.

Ana followed suit and held Vinny down by the knees. A good thing since he almost fell off the
couch when Kelly liberally poured more alcohol on the wound. To Vinny’s credit, he didn’t scream this time, although his hiss of pain filled the room.

Ana watched as Kelly made tiny stitches along the seam of the wound. If Ana weren’t a witness to the whole process, she would have thought Kelly was sawing something delicate like a wedding dress.

“Are we done yet?” Vinny slurred.

Only Kelly and Ana laughed. Ana took the bottle from Vinny’s hand. Clearly the poor boy had drugged himself enough if he managed to get himself drunk. And by the time Kelly was done, Vinny was passed out and snoring. She wrapped the used gauze pads in the newspaper Kelly had spread on the floor, then took the bundle and wr
apped it in a plastic bag. She held the bag up for Kelly to add her gloves once she was done dressing the wound.

Ana followed Kelly to her bedroom. She didn’t see anyone following them, but she clearly heard the footsteps. When they got to her bedroom, Kelly shut the bathroom door, effectively shutting the two brothers out.

“You know you’re just adding more gasoline to the fire, Kelly.”

“In the meantime, I’ll have as much peace as I can,” she responded to Ana. “What the fuck was Vinny thinking? Breaking into our apartment with all this happening in our lives right now?”

“I don’t understand why he didn’t call.”

“He could have died here alone. That is if he still doesn’t still die of infection.”

Ana took the soap Kelly gave her and washed her hands thoroughly. When they still couldn’t continue to hide out in the bathroom, she opened the door to find them pacing in Kelly’s bedroom. She decided to keep shut, and give Kelly the floor.

Kelly took Ana’s hand and dragged her to sit beside her on the bed. None of them said a word until Rafe frustrated at them asked the first question.

“Well, we all know his name but can one of you tell me what the fuck he was doing here?”

“He needed medical attention,” Kelly answered him in a clear and concise voice.

“Duh? That’s why we have hospitals. Everybody knows about them, so why didn’t he go there?”

“He didn’t want the knife
wound to be reported t the police.”

“Obviously. Who stabbed him and who is he hiding from?”

“Don’t know. Don’t know.”

Ana snickered and earned an elbow in her side from Kelly.
“Sorry,” she mumbled so only Kelly could hear.

“This is serious business, Ana. We have a madman on the lose, and now we both get a call,” he said pointing to Rafe then himself, “from Jimmy saying someone broke into your apartment, and not only that, but that he was a mobster. Worse that the two of you were entertaining him,” Gabe ended with heat.

“Imagine my shock and the shock of everyone in the meeting I was holding when I just ran out of the door,” Rafe said picking up the tirade. “I hate practical jokes, but this is the one time I hoped Jimmy was playing one on me. Unfortunately Gabe and I get to the door and both hoping it’s all some minor misunderstanding and what do we see when we walk in?”

“The two of you huddled close to one of New York’s most notoroius mobster’s son. A mobster himself in his own right,” Gabe added.

Rafe shook his head. “And about to stitch the man up. Kelly? Are you crazy for even going through with the act. And taking Ana as your accomplice. And how the heck did he even get in? Does he have a key to your apartment?”

“What I need to know is how you even know such an unsavory character in the first place?” Gabe asked. “How long have you known him? And what does he have
over you that you were willing to do his bidding?”

“You heard the man. Someone needs to start talking.”

Kelly squeezed Ana’s fingers then stood up. “First of all, I took the oath, so whatever his sins are, my job is to try and save him. Secondly, Vinny is an alleged mobster. But whatever he is, he is a friend. Third, he didn’t threaten or force us into anything. Granted he should have gone to the hospital, but Vinny is stubborn and was trying to avoid police scrutiny.” She took a short breath and looked at Ana.

I have no idea what he did or was running away from, but we, Ana and myself, intend to find out as soon as he sobers up. Fourth, you both need to stay away from Vinny. He’s a friend and will always be welcome here. He doesn’t have a key, so that’s another subject Ana and I will discuss with him.” She took a breath. “Anything else?”
