“What are you,” Katie finally managed to say.

Sam sat down and explained that a dragon pregnancy did not work the same as a human pregnancy, and that dragons could smell when a female was carrying a child. He told her that she had become pregnant as soon as he had come inside of her and that she would give birth in only 4 months.

Katie and Sam walked to the cave where Sam lived, as they entered Katie turned around and looked out. She smiled, knowing that she was going to love living there.
