Evan leaned into the touch. “Me too. I say next year for Christmas, we take the train again.”

“I say after a visit with the folks, we rent a cabin in the Sierras for a week.” Evan laid his head on Kyle’s chest. “That sounds perfect.” Like instinct, holding nothing back, Kyle stroked the blond hair. “We’ll need a truckload of lube.”

Evan’s body shook with the laughter. “And frosting. Lots and lots of frosting.” Yeah, he could do this.

So long as he was with Evan, he was home.
