“You ready?” Jensen asked. Josh nodded his head and fisted the sheet beside his head.

Moving as cautiously as he could, Jensen guided his cock to Josh’s entrance. He rubbed the rounded head over Josh’s stretched hole, applying a little more pressure with every caress. As if his dick had a mind of its own, it slipped into the lubed hole. Jensen moved in and out letting Josh’s body get use to the invasion then fed his remaining inches into Josh’s hot depths. Very tenderly Jensen thrust his hips forward, and Josh moaned with every inward motion.

Jensen braced his knees on the bed and leaned forward to cover Josh’s body with his own. He could feel Josh’s hardness stabbing him in the stomach but he ignored it. He had a surprise for his lover.

Jensen sped up his hips in short jabs then pushed in deep.

“Oh my god, what is that.” Josh panted as he clawed at his Jensen’s shoulders.

“That would be your prostate.” Jensen went deep again. “Feels great, right?”

“Fuck yeah.” Josh brought his legs up to rest at Jensen’s hips, using his strength to pull him closer.

After a few more thrusts, Jensen sat up. He placed his hands on Josh’s hips to keep from plowing into his virgin hole. A pulsating shock crept up his lower back to rush forward and out his cock, exploding inside Josh. Jensen’s body shuddered then held tight to Josh’s ass. Warmth washed over him as he emptied into Jensen’s velvet-smooth channel.

He opened his eyes to see Josh staring up at him. Jensen smiled then very gently pulled out as Josh’s muscles clamped down on him. On wobbly knees he moved to straddle Josh’s hips.

“What are you doing?”

Jensen grabbed for the lube and winked down at him. Without saying a single word, he covered his fingers in lube then reached behind him. Josh started to sit up but he pushed him back down into the mattress. He started out with two fingers, moving them in and out, then added a third. It wasn’t his first rodeo, and his body quickly adjusted.

“Are you ready?” Jensen sat forward and positioned Josh’s cock at his opening then lowered down, not stopping until Josh was buried deep inside him.

“Holy fuck!” Josh shouted toward the ceiling.

Jensen rocked back and forth, letting his body get used the fullness. Josh’s fingers dug into his skin and he could feel the pinch of his fingernails as they sharpened. As his pace quickened, Josh thrust up off the bed to meet him move for move. His softened cock had started to stir and slapped against his stomach with every bounce.

“I need to bite you.” Josh sat up, wrapping his arms around Jensen’s waist.

Jensen could see the gleam of bright white from his man’s canines, and his green eyes sparkled like precious emeralds as they grew clouded with lust.

The sight of Josh’s wolf side didn’t frighten him in the least. If anything, it turned him on and had him fucking the man harder. Without any reason known to him, he tilted his head to the side, baring his neck for Josh.

Josh pulled him tight to his chest then struck, sinking his long teeth into his flesh. His cock pulsed between them, and he blew another load all over his mate. Josh snarled against his neck and he could feel the pump of the man’s seed as it filled his hole.

Tired and out of breath, Jensen fell forward. Josh quickly rolled then to the side, his teeth still embedded in Jensen’s neck. He laughed as he lightly tapped Josh on the shoulder.

“You can let go. I swear I won’t try to escape.”

Josh released his hold on his neck and Jensen shivered as the man’s tongue licked over the bite mark. When he was done, Josh pulled out of Jensen’s body and braced himself on one arm as he ran his fingers over the mark on Jensen’s neck. Josh’s eyebrows were drawn tight and his lips were pursed into a thin line. The odd look confused Jensen and he was just about to say something when Josh opened his mouth.

“I love you, Jensen.” The hard lines of Josh’s face softened and he smiled down at him.

“That’s good, because I love you, too,” he confessed.

“I know.” Josh eased back and began to laugh. “You told me last night in your drunken stupor.”

Jensen gasped and reached down to smack Josh on the butt. “That doesn’t count because I don’t remember.” He stuck his tongue out playfully.

“Oh, it counts.” Josh pecked him on the lips then curled his body around Jensen’s. “Now hush. I’m exhausted.”

“Don’t you want to clean up first?” Jensen couldn’t believe it, but he started to giggle.

“Nope, I like knowing you’re inside me and I’m inside you.” Josh shrugged. “We can always change the sheets later.”

Jensen couldn’t argue with that. A wide yawn pulled at his mouth. He hadn’t realized how tired he was. Jensen let his eyes drift shut and let the warmth of his mate carry him off to dream land. Everything from the day before seemed like a lifetime ago, and Jensen was more than willing to let it stay far in the past. He and Josh had come so far in such a short amount of time. It might just be the werewolf mating thing, but Jensen could honestly say he’d never been more in love in his entire life, and it had everything to do with the man curled up behind him.

Chapter Eight

The next few days passed without Josh or Jensen even noticing that day had become night and night had become day. They lounged around the house naked and wrapped in each other’s arms.

After that first time Josh had felt a slight discomfort, but it wasn’t unbearable or bad enough to keep him from doing it again. He loved how Jensen looked as he hovered over him, pounding into his body. The muscles in Jensen’s arms flexed as his body went tight with his release. Sweat beaded across his forehead and his hair clung to his face.

They had also done a lot of talking in between making love. They discussed their favorite foods, colors, music, and movies. Jensen had joked that they were jamming months of dating into a few days.

Late one night he woke to an empty bed. He found Jensen in the bathroom examining the bite mark he had left. He explained that a wolf bites its mate to show others they have been claimed and to stay the fuck away.

It took him by surprise when Jensen asked if he’d become a wolf because of the bite. He had to keep from laughing at the startled look on his mate’s face.

“That’s only in movies, you dork,” had been his witty response. Josh narrowed his eyes then pounced on him. He started to tickle Josh’s sides and one thing led to another and they ended in the shower jerking each other off.

Josh couldn’t believe all he had been missing by never having sex with another man before. Granted, Jensen had been the only man he had ever had intimate thoughts about, but still. The things he could do to Jensen he would never have felt comfortable doing to a woman. Not that he was trying to be a chauvinist pig or anything, but the women he had dated in the past were like delicate flowers, soft and fragile. But Jensen, dear god the man could take a hard pounding and beg for more. Josh also didn’t have the constant fear he’d hurt the man. Jensen had a sturdy, muscular frame and gave as good as he got. Josh wore bruises on his body from where Jensen had grabbed him during sex.

When they finally emerged from the bedroom on the third day, they scavenged the kitchen looking for something to eat. There were plenty of things to eat but neither of them wanted to cook so Josh volunteered to drive into town to pick up some Chinese food.

Jensen loaned him another pair of gym shorts and a plain cotton white T-shirt. The clothes fit him really well being that they had similar body builds. It was just Jensen was shorter than him and made the clothes ride a little higher at the knees and waist.

“Are you sure you’re okay with me driving your car? I know how some people are about things like that. My brother Cole never let me or Jake borrow his truck.” He held his hand outward with the key sitting in his palm, giving his mate the opportunity to change his mind.

“Yes, I’m fine with you driving my car.” Jensen took a seat at the kitchen table and started to get to work on the plans for Ethan’s house.

Josh wanted to growl and rip something apart every time he thought of the man. “Can’t someone else design Ethan’s house?” he asked.

“What?” Jensen turned around in his chair to look at him. “Why?”

“I just think it would be better if someone else took on this particular project.” Josh pointed down at the papers on the table.

Jensen’s eyebrows were arched up on his forehead then a knowing smile spread over his lips. “Oh my god!” He stood up. “You’re jealous.”

“No I’m not.” Josh crossed his arms over his chest and stood to his full height.

“Uh-huh, sure.” Jensen chuckled. “Then why don’t I invite Ethan over for lunch since you don’t hate him.”

“Don’t you dare!” Josh grabbed Jensen around the waist as he moved toward the phone hanging on the wall.

“Then admit it. You’re jealous of Ethan.”

“Fine!” he confessed. “But only because he kissed you and for a guy he’s sort of hot.”

“Did you just say Ethan was hot?” Jensen asked mockingly. “But I thought you said you weren’t gay.”

“Are you ever going to let me live that down? Remember it’s—”

“Complicated.” Jensen finished his sentence then stepped up to give him a kiss on the lips. “I kind of like knowing I’m the only guy you will ever be attracted to. Makes me feel all warm and special on the inside.” Jensen swayed his hips and he rubbed his hands in a circular motion over his stomach.

“On that note, I’m out of here.” He jumped when Jensen’s hand landed hard on his ass.

“See you in little bit, and don’t forget the sweet-and-sour sauce,” Jensen called out the door.

“I won’t.” Josh climbed into the car and hit he button on the garage-door opener. He started the car then reversed out.

As he headed down the driveway he couldn’t help feeling like he was being watched. The hairs on the back of his neck stood on end, and he kept glancing behind him. Nothing seemed out of place, and no one appeared to be following him.

Josh shrugged it off. It was probably just a deer. Other animals could sense that shifters were different. And since wolves preyed on deer, they tended to keep their distance but always had a watchful eye on them.

He turned up the radio and sang along with the song that played. The sun shone down bright and a light breeze helped chase away the heat of the afternoon. Josh had a new outlook on life now that he had claimed Jensen. Sure, they had things they needed to work on, but didn’t every relationship?

* * * *

Josh had only been gone five minutes when Jensen heard a knock at the front door. He set down his pencil and went to open it.

“Ethan, what are you doing here?” he asked as the man he and Josh were just talking about stood in his doorway.

“I came to see you. Can I come in?”

“Oh, yeah, sure.” Jensen opened the door wider and let the man inside. “Is it about the house? I’m sorry I haven’t called to update you, but I haven’t had a chance to work on the plans in the past few days.” He smiled. “I’ve been a little distracted.” He turned his back on Ethan and headed toward the kitchen where he had been working. When Ethan didn’t answer him, Jensen turned to look over his shoulder. Ethan peered around the kitchen as if he were looking for something. “Ethan?”

“Sorry, I’m just a little tired.”

He motioned to the chair next to his and Ethan sat down. “So what can I help you with?”

“I just wanted to check on you is all. Haven’t heard from you and just wanted to make sure you were okay since the last time we talked.”

“To be honest, I don’t remember a whole lot about that night.” Jensen twirled the pencil in his hand around and around like a baton. “I hope I didn’t embarrass you much.”

“Oh, no, in fact I found what you had to say quite enlightening,” Ethan said.

“What did I say?” He started to file back through his mind to see if there was anything he could remember but came up blank. All he remembered was being mad at Josh then going to the bar. From there it was as if a black haze clouded his memory.

“You talked about your boyfriend and how much you loved him.” Ethan smiled at him, but it wasn’t a friendly one. It looked more like a grimace. “Then you proceeded to tell me his little secret.”

Jensen tried to swallow past the lump in his throat. Panic had his heart racing. Suddenly his shirt felt too tight and he tugged at the collar. “What secret?”

“Come now, Jensen. You really want to keep this charade going?” Ethan’s cheeks began to flush as silence filled the space between them. “Werewolves.”

Deny, deny, deny, Jensen kept repeating in his mind. He might have let Josh’s furry secret out of the bag, but who would believe Ethan? Werewolves didn’t exist. People would think him crazy if he started telling them that Jensen was dating a wolf.

He began to calm down and pushed his chair away from the table. They were in his home and he didn’t have to take this crap from Ethan. He didn’t agree to be interrogated.

As he looked at Ethan now, he tried to remember what he found so attractive about the man. His tan skin looked pale and his stylish, funky black hair looked flat and lifeless. Bags darkened the skin under his eyes. It looked like the man hadn’t slept in a few days.
