forget to listen to themselves, and thus block this intuitive pathway.

Position your hands over your ears. If you tuned in and became aware of your ears,

would they look open and clear or have corks stuck in them, stopping you from

listening to and hearing messages? If they look like they have corks in them, imagine

taking the corks out, and allowing yourself to hear intuitive messages and guidance

from the highest sources of wisdom. Visualize clear, sparking light moving through

your ears, cleansing them of any density, emotional armor, and stress.

Say: “Divine Healing Intelligence, please allow me to have my ears open to hearing

the highest wisdom possible. Allow me to listen to my own intuition and follow its

guidance. I am now willing to hear how to live my life in alignment with the universe

and my highest good. Thank you.”

Repeat the word “CLEAR” several times until you feel lighter.

Open Your Third Eye

Your third eye allows you to see things beyond the ordinary realms. This is one of the

gateways to owning your intuitive powers. Gently place the fingers of your right hand

on the third eye, which is in the middle of your forehead. Place the fingers of your left

hand at the back of your head. Imagine a bridge between these two points. Now, visual-

ize a river of purple light entering your third eye and moving along the bridge between

these two points, clearing any stuckness, doubts, or negative patterns, which could

stand in your way of receiving clear images and healing messages for yourself and

others. Allow any buildup of heavy energy to be released through the point you are

holding at the back of your head. Repeat the process several times.

When you feel that the area is clear, imagine purple light entering the back of your

head and moving through the bridge toward the front, connecting the front and back.

Observe as the light begins to shine out of your third eye. Do this several times.

Imagine that this indigo light connects to the Divine Wisdom of the universe and

brings messages to you that can help you and others. Give yourself permission to

receive those messages.

Say: “Divine Healing Intelligence, please open my third eye with ease and grace

and allow me to see the clearest images that can assist me to heal and transform any

area of my life, where I am being challenged. Show me what I need to know. Where

appropriate, assist me to help others by showing me what they need to know to help

themselves. Give me the ability to see the Divine Perfection of life and how every-

thing is connected. Allow me to live my life with integrity, truth, and inspiration.

Thank you.”

Repeat the word “CLEAR” several times until you feel lighter.

How You Can Love Yourself

I have heard people talk about loving and connecting to yourself in a deeper,

more meaningful way. At the moment, this is a concept to me.

I would like to know how to connect to myself and those I love at a deeper level.

When my daughter, Angelina, was four years old she said, “Mummy, I love you

more than the world, more than the universe, more than all the galaxies, but I’m

really, really sorry.” At this point, she made a very sad face. I asked her what she was

sorry about, and she said, “I love myself more.” She then paused and looked at me, “Just

one dot more, because it’s important to love ourselves the most so that we can love

other people.” I was really touched and impressed by her simple wisdom.

For most people, loving themselves is an extensive journey of self-discovery, self-

acceptance, and deep soul-searching. Although in spiritual circles the words
love

yourself
are commonplace, not many seem to know what this means in practical terms.

It is important not to reject the words but to delve deeper into their true meaning.

Overcome Obstacles to Love

Some of the biggest obstacles to self-love that I have observed are self-criticism and the

need for perfectionism, which leads to harsh judgment of the self and, eventually,

21

illness. Our society teaches us to neglect ourselves and our own needs and desires. If we

spend time nourishing ourselves and being soft with our imperfections we are often

told that we are weak and selfish.

I have noticed that for many people, taking any time out for themselves is more a

luxury than a daily way of life. Yet, to love yourself you must have time to connect with

who you are and get to know what works for you.

Take a Journey of Self-Discovery

Instead of comparing yourself to others, discover and embrace your own strengths and

weaknesses. Knowing what you love, how you want to be treated, what makes you feel

safe, what food you need to eat to be healthy, what exercise you need to feel strong,

what work inspires you, the space and environment you need for yourself to learn and

grow, are vital factors for being kind to yourself.

When you know your internal limitations, you can be more forgiving with yourself

and find others who can balance your weaknesses with their strengths. They can also

guide you to gently and consistently work on some of your internal restrictions so that

you can grow, learn, and move forward with more freedom.

Practice the Way of Softness

From early childhood, many of us are taught to be strong, tough, judgmental, competi-

tive, and harsh. Thus, it is little wonder that we live in a world where aggression rules.

However, as we are cocreators of our own lives, we can choose to create a different real-

ity. Our opportunity is to embrace the way of softness and kindness.

I would like you to stop reading this and take a moment to explore what it would

mean to be soft with yourself this moment? When you contemplate softness, does your

physiology change? Does your breath slow down? Do you feel lighter?

What does it mean to be soft and gentle with others? How would you treat others

if you felt soft and peaceful in yourself ? Softness and kindness can be a way of life and

practiced daily.

Make Time to Connect

Loving yourself means taking care of yourself. This may involve having a time of day

where you meditate, connect to your own body, go for a walk in nature, do a self-

healing process, read, write, play sport, meet up with friends, focus on opening and

nourishing your heart.

Ask yourself: What kind of daily experiences would help me to feel nurtured?

What would make my heart sing and my spirit soar?

Self-love can be as simple as watching a butterfly, smelling a beautiful flower,

drinking your favorite drink, listening to music, playing with a child, looking in the

mirror and telling yourself that you are valuable and appreciated, dancing, singing, play-

ing sports, looking at art that inspires you or receiving a hug from someone you love.

Most important is to be in the present and deeply appreciate the moment.

Once I started to teach people about self-healing and transformation, I understood

that in order for us to give to others we must be able to receive love, care and support.

If you don’t currently have people in your life who envelop you with love and offer

you a soft place to land when times are rough, I deeply encourage you to ask for that

support in your daily meditation or prayer. When you ask, focus on connecting to

their energy and receiving them into your heart. With several of my close soul friends,

my husband, and my children, I felt like I knew their spirit before we met up in the

physical.

When you can give and receive love, life takes on an extra dimension. You begin to

breathe, live, and emanate love. All the sharp edges of your life become smoother and

you acquire the strength to keep going, even in the darkest moments.

Know Your Self-Worth

You need to know that you are worthy of the most incredible love, support, warmth,

success, and happiness. It is important to understand that on deep subconscious and

unconscious levels, you receive into your life the things you feel you deserve.

Of course, some people might read this and think, for example, “I don’t deserve to

be abused, yet I am.” No one consciously says, “I want to be abused, poor, or taken

23

advantage of.” However, from childhood you observe and learn what is OK through

your environment, how your parents relate to you and each other, how you are treated at

school, and what you are told about yourself. If you receive repetitive messages of being

unlovable, unworthy, inadequate, inept, and hopeless, this is how you will feel about

yourself. Thus, unconsciously you will create an attractor field, which will pull to you

the things, people, and experiences that match your limited ideas about yourself.

Connect with Cellular Memories

As you examine your inner world, you will begin to decipher what elements are of ben-

efit to you to keep and which beliefs, ideas and memories you need to let go of or alter.

A fascinating phenomenon I have observed is that when people discover a cellular

memory, recognized it, and then slightly adjust it, their physical health and often whole

reality can transform.

My understanding of a cellular memory is that cells in your body can store infor-

mation, memories, or traumas from earlier experience, your ancestors, or past lives.

These memories also contain information that relates to you conscious and subcon-

scious patterns of behavior.

Stevan Thayer, founder of Integrated Energy Therapy says, “Every cell in our body

has the ability . . . to remember. Our cellular memory can store the memory of:

• Physical trauma: accidents, cuts, bruises, surgeries, or abuse

• Emotional trauma: heartache, fear, and anger

• Mental trauma: manifests as low self-esteem, feelings of unworthiness, worry

When trauma is suppressed into the cellular memory, the energy of that trauma can

get stuck. The problem with suppressed cellular memory is not only does it limit our

ability to live freely and joyfully in life, but it can also support the body in developing

physical illness.”3

I have guided thousands of people to connect to their bodies and consciously work

with their cellular memories to heal themselves.

After many of my students got in touch with their cellular memories, they reported

becoming aware of challenging experiences that had occurred to them, even thought

they had rarely or never consciously thought of the event since it occurred. During the

process of asking what is imprinted in their cellular memories, people have reported

experiencing different bodily sensations in particular areas of their body where they

have pain or discomfort, smelling fragrances, hearing sounds, seeing images, and having

certain tastes in their mouth.

You may experience one or several of the above when you work with the cellular

memory release process. This process helps you to let go of emotional stagnation, which

can contribute to disease.

release cellular memories, which no longer serve you, and heal yourself.

Susanne’s Story: Working with Cellular Memories

Susanne came to see me because her knees were deteriorating at a rapid

rate. She had wanted to be a writer and had recently began writing chil-

dren’s books. It took Susanne over five minutes to climb the steps to my

office. When she got there she was nearly crying from pain and exhaustion.

I asked Susanne to place her hands on her knees, tune in to them, and tell

me any feelings that were stored there. Angrily, she told me she felt

nothing. I gently guided Susanne to take a few deep breaths and encour-

aged her not to judge her feelings. She told me that she felt angry but did

not want to feel this. I asked her to give herself permission to feel the anger

and to discover what memory was attached to it.

Instantly, Susanne saw herself as a seven year old child. She was

drawing a picture and writing a few comments underneath, trying to create
