Chapter Six
Calor gave her plenty of time to finish her bath, expecting her to come to him so they could talk. He knew she was angry with him, but he didn't know what to do about it. Finally, after midnight, he went in search of her, finding her fast asleep on the bed.
She looked so angelic as she slept on her side, her face buried in the pillow. He stood undecided for a moment before stripping and slipping into bed beside her. Would waking her be such a terrible thing?
He stroked his hand over her arm and carefully pressed his lips to her shoulder. He wanted her to wake slowly, already feeling her passion flow for him. Moving his hand under the covers, he found her breast, his thumb toying with her nipple. He watched her face, and although she smiled slightly, she didn't give any other indication she was waking up.
Rolling her to her back, he uncovered her completely, moving his hands over her bare body. One hand slipped between her spread thighs, and he toyed with her sweet flesh there. His thumb found her clit, and rubbed it in circles, while his fingers slid inside her. He sucked her nipple into his mouth while his hand made love to her.
Alicia woke slowly, feeling a pressure between her legs and on her nipple. What was that? She opened her eyes and found her husband's face against her chest, sucking at her for all he was worth. She let out a low moan. How long had he been at this? She was already ready for him to make love to her.
Winding her fingers through his hair, she whispered, "That feels good."
At her words, he moved his fingers more quickly, wanting her to desire him more than anything else on earth.
She spread her legs wider, moving her hips in time with his movements. Already she could feel the tightening in her belly that signaled her climax was near. "Yes, I'm so close!"
Calor pulled his hand away and moved between her thighs. Alicia looked up at him in frustration. "Why did you stop?"
He stroked her cheek, leaning down to kiss her softly. "I want to be inside you when it happens this time. I want to feel you climax around me."
She spread her legs wider, liking that idea. She loved how he felt when he was inside her. "That sounds good to me too." Every other time, he'd brought her to completion with his fingers before entering her. She loved the idea of squeezing his cock tightly inside her as she climaxed.
"Why don't you get to your hands and knees for me?" he asked. He'd watched enough porn movies to know that was a position he wanted to try.
He didn't tell her that, though, afraid he'd spoil the mood.
Alicia complied, moving to her hands and knees with her bottom toward him. She immediately felt him pressing himself against her opening.
He took her hips in his hands and plunged deep, letting out a low groan as he felt her squeezing him tightly. "I think I like it this way better," he told her. "I'm in deeper."
She nodded, not sure she had the ability to respond. He felt so good inside her, that she couldn't say a word. He started moving slowly to begin with, but gradually picked up speed. She felt so sensitive as he thrust in and out of her, his hands moving her hips back and forth as if she were a doll made for his pleasure.
When she started to clench around him, she squealed her pleasure. "Oh, yes!"
He followed quickly after her, spraying his seed deep within her. How had he lived his life without her? She completed him in every possible way. Calor rolled to his side and gathered her into his arms, as they both were still panting. He held her close, trying to force his mind to talk to her about the subject they needed to discuss.
It was minutes before his breathing calmed enough. "I'm really sorry things aren't as easy here as you would like. Do you want to go look for the fountain again? If we take Robertron with us, you'll be safe."
She sighed. "I don't want to go back, because I want you with me. I also don't want to stay here the way things are." She shook her head. "I wish there were a way for me to have some freedom, at least to go outside."
She didn't want to complain, because she truly cared for him, but she also couldn't live in seclusion, which seemed to be her only option.
"Would it be better if we found a house in the country? One where we could build walls around it, but you wouldn't have to worry about walking outside."
Alicia nodded slowly. "I like that idea. How about a dog as well? That would help."
"Dogs are...expensive." He sighed. "There aren't all that many left."
"How expensive is expensive? I'm not asking for a purebred. I actually prefer mutts." Surely there was an animal shelter somewhere full of unwanted puppies.
He laughed. "A purebred costs over forty billion. We could get a mutt for a billion or so."
She sighed. "That's way too much to ask for." She would have to get over that idea.
"I'm sorry. It's a ridiculous price. I understand in your time, there were never enough homes for the dogs, and a lot of them had to be put down."
"Yeah. It was easy to go to a shelter and rescue a dog any time you wanted." She snuggled into his side, liking the idea of a country house, with or without a dog.
"Well, we'll look into the country house immediately."
She closed her eyes, yawning, and was asleep within minutes.
He looked down at her, wondering what it would take to make her happy. It wasn't just the child she had the potential to bear. It was her. He loved her, and he needed her to be the happiest woman on earth.

Alicia was in bed alone again when she woke the following morning. She immediately got in the tub again, adding the special salt Calor had purchased for her the previous day.
It had helped her sore muscles tremendously, and he'd made them all sore again during the night. She was sure she'd eventually get used to the frequent lovemaking, but it was taking her body a while to adjust.
She found him in his office, working like he'd done the day before. Glancing at the clock she saw it was already past eleven. She needed to get ready to go meet his friends. "What happened to my clothes?" she asked. There was nothing else she could wear.
Calor glanced up from his computer. "Ask Robertron. I'm sure he washed them and put them somewhere." He had no idea what the robot would do with her clothing.
Alicia wandered off in search of the robot, finding him in the kitchen baking a cake. "Hey, Robbie? Do you know where my clothes are?"
"Of course, Alicia. I put them in the dresser in the top middle drawer." He took the cake out of the oven to let it cool.
"Thank you!" She bit her lip. "I enjoy cooking. Would you be willing to show me how to use the appliances?"
"I would be honored." He turned from her and continued his duties.
"Could we start tomorrow?" she asked.
"Whenever you want. I'm yours to command."
She went to the bedroom and opened the drawer he'd mentioned and found her things neatly folded. She quickly pulled on all her clothes and looked in the mirror. She certainly didn't look like she belonged in this century, but she didn't, so what did that matter?
By the time she'd finished fussing with her hair, it was time to leave. She went back to Calor's office and found him staring off into space, as if he was trying to solve the world's problems. "Are you ready?" she asked softly, not wanting to startle him.
He turned to her and smiled, taking her hand and bringing it to his lips. "I'm more than ready." Standing he led her to the elevator. "Bill says that April is always up for seeing another woman's face with four men hovering over her."
The drive to Dallas didn't take long. Alicia had never been there, and her only perceptions of it came from the television show with the same name. It wasn't anything like she'd expected, but that didn't surprise her at all.
They landed on the roof of a huge building, and again took an elevator. On the floor they arrived at, there were four doors, and he walked to one of them, knocking quickly.
The door was opened by a blond man who looked to be in his mid-thirties. "Come in!" He held the door wide, his eyes on Alicia. "Are you really from the twenty-first century?" he asked.
Alicia nodded, unsure how much Calor had told his friend. "I am. My name is Alicia."
The man smiled. "I'm Bill. April's excited to meet you. She doesn't get to visit with her female friends nearly often enough to make her happy." He led her through the apartment to where a woman was sitting on the couch, obviously advanced in her pregnancy. She had her feet up on an ottoman as two little girls played on the floor at her feet. "April, this is Alicia."
Alicia walked over to the sofa and sat beside the other woman. "I'm so happy to see another woman!" Alicia exclaimed.
She'd been starting to think she'd never see a woman again.
April smiled. "I want to hear what happened to you and how you ended up here. This is a crazy time to live in. Did you want to come here?"
Alicia sighed, shaking her head. "No, I made a wish, and the wish brought me here. That's all we can figure happened."
April patted her hand. "Well, I'm sure you'll get used to it. Calor is a good man. Bill's known him for years."
"But not you?" Alicia knew that Calor had said April wasn't allowed to be around other men much. She wondered how she felt about it.
April shook her head. "I rarely get to meet my husbands' friends. Being one of the only females left in the world is isolating in a lo
t of ways."
Alicia nodded. "I know! I had two friends back home that I did everything with. They watched me disappear."
"Oh no! Did you search for them? And yourself?"
"I did a computer search, but it shows that they both disappeared within a week of me. We all wished on this fountain we saw in a park together. And before we knew it, I was feeling really weird. Like, I couldn't move my legs or anything. They were getting scared, I could see it on their faces, but I felt as if I was falling, and the next thing I knew, I was in the park where Calor found me. He said I fell out of the sky and landed at his feet."
April listened with wide eyes. "That's so strange. I mean, we've all heard about making wishes, but I know the scientists have been working on time travel for hundreds of years. It's just not possible." She eyed Alicia. "Well, not scientifically anyway."
She grinned at the other girl, letting her know that she believed she'd traveled through time.
Bill came into the room then, and Alicia realized the men had left them alone to get to know one another. "It's time for lunch." He walked to April's side and reached his hand down to help her to her feet.
April smiled up at Bill, kissing him softly. "Thank you. I probably could have gotten up on my own, but you never know."
He laughed. "You're almost there."
Alicia watched the affection between the couple, surprised that a woman who had been purchased at an auction could be so easy with the man who'd bought her. They were obviously in love now, though. "When are you due?"
"Two more weeks. I can do this for two more weeks."
April obviously said the words to convince herself, not Alicia.
Alicia smiled. "Are you having twins again?"
April shook her head. "No, just one this time. It's a boy."
"Oh, good! It's always good to have a mix."
April smiled and nodded. "I want at least a dozen." She looked over at her two daughters who were still playing. Their nanny, a slim black man, came into the room gathering them up.
"I've never thought about having children until I came here. It's weird, but I always thought I'd have a choice, you know? I could have them or not. If I decided I didn't want to have them myself, I could just adopt. Coming here has taken the choice from me, though. I'm not certain how I feel about that."
April put her arm through Alicia's. "You know, I wasn't certain how I felt about things at first either. My men are all wonderful, but I grew up thinking my adult life would be a certain way."
"You didn't grow up expecting to be auctioned?"
April shook her head. "Not at all. I didn't find out I would be auctioned off until the day before. The men knew about me and planned for the auction well before I knew it was even a possibility."
"Do you ever wish you'd had the simple li
fe you expected when you were growing up?"
April thought about that for a moment. "I don't think so. I mean, at first it was so overwhelming to have four men taking turns with me." She blushed as she realized what she'd said. "Just suffice it to say, I was very...overcome by it all at first. Now? I wouldn't go back for anything. I have four men who love me. I have two beautiful daughters." She shrugged. "I have a really good life here. I stay busy and happy. My only real complaint is the lack of female companionship. My friends Erin and Amber visit me from time to time, but it's just not enough. We all have our families now, and it's hard to just take off and spend time together."
