man, you’re really planning on annihilating us . . . I’m done for . . .

My body’s giving up!

I’m going to sleep. I’ll carry on later today.

laters

The Geeks were relentlessly battered and pounded down. After Train Man left, a momentary calmness took over the thread.

stand down for now . . .

All right, I’m going to bed! See you later!

We’re this close to the final assault and turning into mere shadows of our former selves . . .

I wonder when Lady Hermes started liking Train.

‘Making my heart throb’

such beautiful words . . .

He’s really turned himself into a stealth bomber

He left us no time to issue air-raid warnings and all but wiped us out

I reckon if he’s heading to bed now, it’ll be another 4-6 hours

but I bet he’s too frazzled to sleep so I say he’ll be back in 4 hours

That Train, man, he really pushed himself hard

He returned from his date and went without sleep to attack us

It was definitely something that I stayed up for this but Train is not too shabby either

Train’s dark side is something to be reckoned with . . . this really hurts

wonder what I’ve been doing till now . . .

158 Name: Anonymous Post Date: 09/05/04 11:10

you know what, when we all read Train’s first report

all of us and I mean all of us told him to go with it . . .

even if we were to factor in the desperate nature of all Geeks,

thank god Train wasn’t derailed on account of some negative comment from us

of course, it’s all because Train was the most passive one of us . . .

In the beginning I didn’t think he would develop into a such a mind-blowing bomber

I mean when he first reported about saving those ladies he did say he might have to betray us but even back then I thought he was way ahead of himself.

To think things like this really happen in the world.

Hermes has some child-like elements but

judging from her paying for parking and holding down a job

well, she is a real woman, a really nice catch.

She was meant to meet Train . . . . . . it’s gotta be destiny.

Congratulations Train.

I thought you might cry when you told her how you felt, and you really did

And it’s great Hermes accepted your kindness and returned it with joy!

I always heard that happiness grows when shared by two but now I know

it’s true. I’m getting weepy.

Got quiet in here.

As though the intense brutal air strike never happened, the surviving soldiers huddled together in the silence, thankful. Had the bombing begun early that morning? That, too, was now a long-lost memory.

But still, looking out over the field there was a mountain of skeletal remains.

Random body parts, hands, legs, fingers, hair, eyeballs . . . . . . what a destructive force.

The damage sustained by the survivors was in itself horrible to see.

Next to me stood a Geek Soldier who continued aiming his M92 out into the emptiness though he had no bullets.

Mumbling ‘ah yeah’ like an afterthought. Not even a blink. Grinning from ear to ear. I listened to the sorrowful clicking noise of his trigger echoing through the battlefield.

Beyond his gaze was the land he was fleeing to.

He said, ‘Will resume within the day’

I can’t think of anything. The roar of the explosions is even now vibrating in my head.

He will, as promised, resume his attack in a few hours.

Has the Command Centre been annihilated?

But I . . . I can . . . still move . . . . . . and will keep on . . . till the end . . .

I’ve finally caught up . . . .but man, how many threads do you need to go through in one night!

I’m late, but way to go Tren. Really happy for you.

I’m just as happy as if it was happening to me. You made me cry too.

Oh yesss sireeeeee, I cried, man, you made me cry. May you be happy for a long time to come!!!

An apparently trivial catalyst plus

lots of courage plus

some backseat driving + meddling

and Train’s own perseverance and development

gave birth to a miracle

take care of her forever.

slept really badly. Couldn’t shake the exhaustion at all.

But then I woke up to find a couple of hot e-mails.

Is this the way couples go about things?

She managed to set up her PC and internet on her own. (´▪

Woe is I who gave up at 4 yesterday and went to work today only to return once again.

Mr Train, congratulations.

So you, who I’ve been watching over, are finally leaving the lair.

It’s been like a soap. Sometimes it makes me want to bless you and other times it gets me down. It’s got my emotions all stirred up.

Please take good care of Lady Hermes.

But let me just say this one thing to you.

You ffffuuuuu you really betrayed your people!!!!!

On that note, let me shove you into the couples board where you can freely googoo and gaga all you want!

And copy this for when you return to the dark side.

The two months I’ve spent here really were a lot of fun.

I felt a bond like I’ve never felt. I’m sure memory fades but I don’t want to forget what happened here.
