“It says here you’ll both be adopting young Mr. Walker, correct?”
Davy snapped his gaze to Gavin. Gavin mouthed,
Surprise?
Motherfucking surprise of the year. They’d mentioned this once in passing, but Davy had filed it away into his file of
Things Gavin Would Be Uncomfortable Thinking About
along with marriage and wearing a tutu to Pride.
Gavin smiled at Davy, and Davy knew exactly what that meant. This was Gavin saying he had faith in forever too. It had been a long time coming, but he had faith. Davy held his emotions in check as he turned back to the judge, whose eyebrow was quirked. No way she’d missed the original surprise on Davy’s face.
“Yes, ma’am,” Davy said.
Davy knew the judge couldn’t have heard it, but he heard when Gavin let his breath out. “Both of us,” Gavin confirmed.
She nodded. “So granted. Oliver, are you okay with that?” She leaned over the bench to look at the youngest Walker brother.
“Hell yes!” Oliver hollered.
The court burst out in a collective groan, Gavin’s the loudest. Davy covered his mouth to hide his snigger.
The judge looked at Davy with that quirked eyebrow. “You sure you’re up for this? Looks like these Walker men are trouble.”
Davy smiled and looked over at Gavin, who was blushing. “Yes, ma’am. Turns out, I love trouble.”

OEHME
is a southern boy without the charm, but all the sass. Currently residing in Seattle, he lives off ramen noodles and too much booze.
He is “the epitome of dorkdom,” only watching TV when Rachel Maddow or one of his sports teams is on. Most of his free time is spent dancing, arguing politics, or with his nose in a book. He is also a hardcore Britney Spears fangirl and has an addiction to glitter.
It was after writing a short story about boys who loved each other for a less-than-reputable adult website that he found his true calling, and hopefully a bit more class.
He hopes to write about all the romance that he personally finds himself allergic to but that others can fall in love with. He maintains that life is real and the stories should be, as well.
