He gets up and starts walking toward me. “I haven’t stopped thinking about you since that night we spent together. I meant what I said when I told you I had never felt this way about a woman before. If you will let me, I want to make it up to you.”

His explanation sounds too good to be true. I ask, “Are you in some sort of trouble with the law? Because I’m not interested in having a relationship with a felon.” God this is not what I need. I can’t be with someone who is in trouble with the law.

“I’m not a felon, Riley. You just have to trust me on that. And I can’t tell you about my past.”

Well doesn’t that just sound wonderful, I think to myself. Of all the luck I had to have. “How am I supposed to trust you when you up and leave and then come back out of nowhere like nothing happened?” I ask.

“I don’t expect you to understand, but I want you. That’s the only reason I came back.”

Okay, that right there made my anger go completely out. I’ve never had anyone want me so much before. Not even Robert expressed how much he wanted me. So maybe I am an idiot, but what the hell. I finish closing the distance between us and put my arms around Isaac. He seems to realize he succeeded in getting me to somewhat understand. He sighs deeply and caresses my face. He looks into my eyes and pulls me closer for a deep and demanding kiss. I hadn’t realized until then that I miss being held this way. He feels so good next to me and I feel complete. Isaac picks me up and takes me back to my room where we have passionate wild sex all night.

I’m in a deep sleep when I’m startled awake by the phone ringing. I jump up and run into the kitchen trying to answer it before whoever it is hangs up. Luckily, I got to the phone just in time. “Hello?” I ask.

“Finally! I’ve called you five times now. Where have you been?” Isaac sounds more than pissed. Wonderful.

“Well sorry to worry you, I was still sleeping. You know you didn’t have to keep a girl up all night last night,” I tell him playfully.

“I’m sorry, Riley, I just got worried when you didn’t answer.”

“Isaac, I’m fine, as you can hear.” I can tell he is worried about something. Maybe it’s just the fact we hadn’t seen each other in three weeks, and he thought I changed my mind.

“I just wanted to ask if you wanted to go out to dinner tonight. There is someone I think you need to meet if we are going to make this work with us,” Isaac replies.

“Dinner sounds nice. What time should I expect you?” I ask him.

“I’ll be there at 7.” I look at the clock and realize it is already after five. Holy shit I did sleep in today!

“I will see you then, Isaac,” I tell him before hanging up.

I quickly run to my walk-in closet to figure out what to wear. Isaac didn’t say where he is taking me, so I decide to go semi-casual. I match my blue, sleeveless blouse with skinny jeans with my leopard print flats. That should do it. I hop in the shower, shaving my legs again. Thank the sweet lord for waxing. Otherwise I’d be in the shower twice as long. Once I get out of the shower, I do my hair and makeup. I look myself over in the hall mirror one last time when I hear Isaac pull up. I glance out the window, a little curious to see what he drove. I’m surprised to see a black limousine parked in my driveway. Wow. Isaac is pulling out all the stops for this date.

Isaac comes to the door and walks me to the limo. Before he opens the door he says, “You look absolutely amazing, Riley. I love your hair in curls like that.”

I smile and say, “Thank you. You look pretty hot yourself.” He is wearing a simple grey shirt with a black blazer over it with black pants. I’m guessing his favorite color is black.

With a big grin, he opens the door and l’m shocked at who I see in the limo waiting. Conner Davidson has the biggest smile when he sees me. I can’t believe this; I am at a loss for words. When Isaac gets in the limo he introduces us. Of course I can’t say, “Oh hey, I Googled you, so yeah I know who you are,” or, “Oh yeah, I remember you staring me down at Jake’s the night I slept with your business partner.”

I keep my mouth shut, not trusting my words, and just give them both a smile. While the boys talk business, I enjoy the scenery. With two gorgeous guys in the same limo as me, it’s hard for a girl to keep her head on straight. I realize Conner has asked me a question. “I’m sorry, Conner, what did you say?”

He laughs and says, “Isaac, we are boring the poor girl to death. I asked, my dear, where are you from? If I’m not mistaken you have a Southern accent.”

Oh, good, a question I can answer proudly. “Yes I do. I am from the South. Mississippi to be exact.”

“I’ve never been, but I hear it’s really hot and humid down there.”

I have to laugh; everyone always says that about Mississippi. “Indeed it is, but it also has other qualities as well. You should visit sometime. You’d be surprised at how friendly us Southerners are.” With that said, Isaac and Conner begin to talk about their business again. I’m beginning to wonder why in the world Isaac asked me to come. He’s apparently having a “business meeting” in the limo.

As I think to myself, “Where are we going?” the limo stops and the driver gets out, opening our doors. I step out of the limo not knowing what to expect. I look up and see we are at one of my favorite Italian restaurants, IL Pastaio. I’m not sure if it is yet another coincidence, or if Isaac is just plain lucky.

I turn around to see him watching my expression carefully. I finally ask, “How did you know?”

He replies, “I got Karen’s number off your home phone before you woke this morning. I wanted to surprise you.”

I give him the biggest smile I can manage. “You are one amazing man.” I walk up to him, ignoring Conner’s weird stare, and give Isaac a gentle kiss. “Thank you. You don’t know how much I love this place. I come here all the time. I do believe all the staff knows me by heart.”

I could tell Isaac was pleased with himself. “Shall we go in?” I follow Isaac and Conner inside, and am greeted by the hostess, Bernardo.

“Good evening, Miss Blake, how many for tonight?”

“Three please. A booth, if you wouldn’t mind.”

“Certainly Miss Blake, right this way.” Bernardo seats us in the best booth in the house. It’s in a private back room, with the California sunset looking right at us.

“I still can’t believe you called Karen. She wasn’t too hard on you, was she?”

Isaac laughs and replies, “Well, I must say, she is a hell cat. She could’ve been worse, but I was glad she cooperated with me.” Our waiter comes to take our orders. Soon we have a wonderful Italian meal. I’m in heaven.

I can’t help notice how Conner keeps his weird stare all throughout the night. I can’t figure him out just yet. Maybe I’ll have to have a talk with him later about it. The whole night Isaac flirts with me, and finds some way to touch me. I don’t mind it at all. Conner, on the other hand, does the same thing. His touch is more innocent than Isaac’s. I don’t know how I feel about Conner flirting with me, and all the light touches in front of Isaac. I don’t know what kind of relationship they have if it is okay for the other to flirt right in their face, be okay with it. I act like it doesn’t bother me; I refuse to start a drama fest.

Soon it is time to go back home. I don’t want the night to end. We get back into the limo and start back. All too soon we arrive at my house. Isaac says he needs to use the restroom, so I take my opportunity to ask Conner what hell is his problem. “Conner, I don’t mean to sound rude or anything, but why do you keep staring at me? And what was up with all the touching and flirting in front of Isaac?”

It comes out a little rushed but he smiles and says, “I am sorry to make you feel uncomfortable, I was just admiring you all day. Isaac was right about you. Riley, you are a gorgeous woman. Any woman as beautiful as you should be worshipped daily.”

His response catches me off guard. I don’t even get a chance to say “Thank you” before Isaac is back. I’m sure if Isaac is the jealous type or not so I just nod my head and smile.

“Well, I’ll leave you two for the night. Isaac, I’ll make sure the driver knows to come pick you up for work tomorrow. Goodnight, Miss Blake.”

“Please, call me Riley.” Conner nods toward me and gives me a kiss on the cheek. Isaac says his goodbyes and Conner leaves.

“Conner really likes you. I’m glad you two got along so well. Most of the women I’ve dated Conner hated.”

I am shocked at this, mainly because I expected Isaac to get pissed. Robert would’ve. I knew then I could never compare Isaac to Robert. They were two completely different people, and I certainly wasn’t going to make Isaac pay for what Robert did to me.

We head inside my home and Isaac leads me to the couch. He turns to me and says, “Riley, I need you. Right now. I been holding back because of Conner, but now I just can’t.”

He doesn’t need to say any more. I have been feeling the same way. I get up and turn on some slow music. I know exactly what Isaac needs. I begin to move with the music, slowly taking my clothes off in front of him. I watch him very closely. Watching his every move turns me on. It makes the moment more intimate. When I am down to my matching bra and panties, Isaac says, “Come here.”

I climb on top of him, letting him take me to places I’ve only read about. He caresses my back all while pulling me closer, kissing me gently. I’m already feeling that same ache, the same throbbing need. We don’t take our time as we did before. We know what each other wants desperately.

I help him out of his shirt, staring at his amazing body. He helps me with his pants, and then he has me naked.

“Ride my cock, baby,” he begs. I’m happy to do anything he asks at this point. I use my hand to guide him inside me. He fills me with his long thick cock, bringing me to that pleasure/pain sensation. I welcome it.

I begin to slowly work my way up and down, over and over. Moving my hips at the same time. He has a hold on my hips, guiding me just the way he wants me. Isaac seems to know exactly what he wants, just as I do.

I’m not sure how long we stay this way, but I know when he starts thrusting harder and rougher he is ready for release. “Come for me, Riley. Come all over this hard cock.”

That’s all it takes. One command and I explode all around him, bright lights and wild colors flashing in my eyes. I’ve never experienced that before, and it’s amazing. Isaac soon finds his release right after. I can’t remember ever being this happy before. Only two nights with this man and I know I am going to fall head over heels for him. Little do I know my heart is bigger than I think it is.

I wake to an empty bed again. I get out of bed to go find Isaac when I see a note on the pillow he slept on.

“Good morning, beautiful. I had to leave early for work and I didn’t want to wake you. You looked so peaceful. I will call you later and we will make plans for this evening. I hope you have a wonderful day. Oh and by the way, you talk in your sleep. Isaac.”

Shit! How did I forget about that? Great, just another reason for me to be embarrassed. I wonder what I said. Maybe I can get him to tell me. Now that I am awake and fully aware, I get up and head to the shower. Since I have been working so much, I have to get my errands done. I figure if Isaac is staying over a lot I should definitely have some food in the house. Plus, the SUV needs some maintenance done. To me it sounds like a long boring day.

Around lunch time, I decide to go grab Karen and take her out. It is the least I can do since she did a big favor for me. I arrive at her office, feeling a little saddened because of my last visit here. I walk in and ask her secretary to page her for me. When she comes out she is more than happy to see me.

“Riley, what do I owe this pleasant surprise?”

“Well I heard through the grapevine that you told Isaac what my favorite restaurant was. I just thought I would return the favor and take you out to lunch. Please tell me you’re free.”

Karen gives me that winning smile and agrees to go to lunch. I decide to take Karen to the new bistro that just opened. I’m shocked at how busy they are, but glad when the hostess gives us a table fairly quickly.

“So tell me, what is it about Isaac that makes you glow so much?”

I smile at Karen over my menu, not really knowing what to say. “Well honestly, I have no idea yet. I do know he is an amazing lover.”

Karen was chokes on her water; apparently my comment caught her off-guard. “I must say, Riley, I am impressed by this mysterious Isaac. Where is he from anyways?”

“I’m not sure, I haven’t asked him, but I will. He’s supposed to take me on a date tonight. Or something. He left me a sweet note this morning saying he wanted to make plans.” I’m glad Karen doesn’t pressure me into talking much about Isaacs’s strange three week disappearance. To be honest I didn’t know how to explain it myself.

We order our food and have our usual girl talk. Karen talks mainly about her practice. She is very pleased with how much business has picked up. I, on the other hand, can’t get Isaac out of my mind. I do the best I can to stay interested in what Karen has to say, but frankly I just want Isaac again.

“Riley, Earth to Riley.” Karen is getting annoyed by my lack of interest, so she says, “I’ll catch a ride back to the office, you go and play with your boy toy.”
