"Why have you gone and had surgery?"
"Nothing big, just a bit of nip and tuck, here and there."
"I'm sorry, but that ass and those tits are bit more than a nip and tuck!" Deidre said with so much of Charlie's tone, it made her crack a smile.
Her mother stood stunned at the way she sounded, "Oh, well - I can certainly tell where you've been hanging about of late. You sure she's just your bodyguard."
"Yes mother, I'm sure..." Deidre smiled cattily, "You see, while she guards my body during the day, Jeremiah Franklin guards it at night."
Georgiana gasped, "What are you saying? Surely you're not... not with him! Oh Deidre, how can you cheapen yourself that way?"
"Oh mother dear, that is certainly grand coming from you! I would certainly say, he is a much higher standard than the chauffer, the gardener, the milkman, the ski instructor, the chef, the pool-cleaner, the-..."
"Oh enough already!" Georgiana snapped, resenting the grin on her bodyguards face at her expense. "If that's the only reason you've come to see me after all you've put me through! Denying me the right to see you after what happened to you! Having me security checked and blocked - I'm your mother for goodness sake! If you can't trust me, who can you trust?"
"Exactly, who - can I trust?" Deidre mused.
"Okay, stop right there - obviously you're here on a guilt trip mission. So that you don't waste your time nor mine, I didn't pack for one, now if you'll-..."
"I need a favor from you mother. A most urgent and serious favor. One that I can only gain through you. I don't ask you for much, in fact, after this, more than likely, I won't be asking, one thing more."
Georgiana stood a moment more, than walked to the chair opposite her daughter. "Before you ask, this favor, may I please say something to you first?"
"Sure mother, go right ahead."
"I had absolutely nothing - to do with that shooting. I know that I can be, a bit - extreme - eccentric - but - I would never set my own child up, for what happened to you. I've done some, pretty scandalous things-..."
"Like trying to take my husband from me. Breaking up my marriage to him. Aborting our unborn child, which is, murdering your own flesh and blood, mother. Who then, am I - but someone in your way?"
Georgiana showed the first signs of any emotion her daughter had ever seen, pounding the table as she leaned to her swearing, "I've never - ever wished you dead! Not ever! Giving birth to you - was pure hell! You are my one and only child - why would I have you killed?"
"Why not, mother? Why not? You don't know me. You didn't raise me. Outside of money, that you already had in excess, you've made no great sacrifices in my behalf. You've shown me, not one tender moment. Not one hug that was sincere. Not one gesture of praise or encouragement to lift me up, you always hired others to do that. What bond is there mother, between us that my death would disrupt your life, even for a moment? Do you even know, who my father is?"
"Oscar T. Wherrington - is you father - I swear to you, he is! And it was that, that I swore to him, last night! Do you know why? Because that ex-husband of yours came here, ripping his office to shreds looking for evidence that Oscar T. was the one responsible for setting you up. I could not believe it, but I told him, that you are his daughter! Any test would prove that it's true!"
"Did he set me up?"
"I don't know. It horrifies me to think, that he did - and if - he did - it is perhaps because he thought, you were the child of someone else."
Deidre shook her head, "And there's certainly no reason for him to ever think that, is there mother?" She pointed out sarcastically.
"I'm guilty of affairs, yes! But the child I brought home to him was his child."
"You mean the child you brought home to nurse maids?"
Georgiana sank already exhausted from trying to sort through the mess that was their life. There was too much under the bridge for her to try and explain. "What favor would you have of me Deidre?" She asked tiredly.
"I want absolute, complete, total media anonymity for our name. From the top to the bottom, Angela included. No more reports, via; TV, newspapers, magazines, tabloids, nothing. Just as it is with the Rothschild's."
Georgiana stared a moment, "You think that we're going to be targeted? Or you, targeted again? Or - is it Angela? Is that why he was here, tearing this house apart, because he fears Angela will be in danger?"
"Angela is back with me now, safe and sound. Where she will stay. By the way," Deidre held her hand out to Georgiana, "You have something of his." She announced without a doubt.
"What? What are you talking about?"
"His mobile phone mother - in the midst of tearing this place up, he left it here. He told me himself, but he didn't get it back because he just wanted to be as far away from here as possible. I promised to collect it for him." She lied. She'd actually promised Sylvia that she would collect it for her after she told her about the peculiar voice answering it when she kept calling to speak with him. They both figured it was no doubt her mother playing games. Flicking the fingers of her hand in a gesture to say, hand it over, she waited. "Come on, give it over, you know you have it. You bad girl - sometimes mother, I swear." She shook her head with accusing eyes.
"I wasn't going to keep it. I thought he might come back for it today, I was going to give it to him then."
"Well, he's coming by to see Angela before they leave here, I'll give it to him thank you."
Feeling a bit put out by it, Georgiana stood, "Just a minute, I'll get it." She strode off down the hall and then up the stairs.
Charlie shook her head, "Life's definitely a bitch when so is your mother."
"Yes, I'm afraid that just about sums it up for me."
"Hey, just so you know it - you're nothing like her. For that matter, nothing like him. In fact, I think you're the milkman's."
Deidre burst into laughter, "Thank you Charlie, you always know just what to say to make me feel better."
"Anytime Dee-Dee, any time."
A few moments later, her mother reappeared with Shawn's phone in hand, "Here you go."
"Thank you mother, I'm sure he'll appreciate that. Now, as to the matter concerning-..."
"You do know the cost of that don't you? The yearly cost of anonymity?"
"It may be the one and only thing you could ever do to make me believe you care about me, my daughter, even a tiny bit. I know you don't love me, never have, therefore, you couldn't possibly love her, but - do it, if for nothing else other than you're a Wherrington, and you can! Flaunt your power and prestige mother. Imagine how that will make you look among the other elites? How many can afford true anonymity?"
Georgiana sat a moment, thinking about it, knowing she would do it, because as her daughter stated, she could. She would do it for more reasons than, the obvious. She would do it also because this empire belonged not only to her, but her daughter as well, and her daughter, Angela. It was her responsibility to see to it, that they continued on in order to have someone of the family to pass it on to. Then something occurred to her.
"Okay, I'll do it. As you said, why not, I can - and so, I will. Now, with that out of the way, what is this, about this Jeremiah Franklin? Surely you were jesting, right?"
"Do I have your word on the media anonymity mother?"
"You have my word."
"How soon? I want it done immediately."
"I will see to it Monday morning, is that soon enough?"
"No, but I will settle for Monday - all networks mother, all means of media."
"Yes, yes - as you said, it'll be done. And Jeremiah Franklin?" Georgiana pressed.
Deidre stood, "That's all I need mother, with that taken care of, good day to you."
Georgiana stood as well, "Deidre - Jeremiah Franklin?"
"Mother - he - is none of your affair."
"He hates us Deidre, he hates the Wherringtons!"
"So does Shawn mother! So do thousands of others who are in debt to us!"
"But he wishes revenge on us Deidre." Georgiana pointed out, following her daughter to the front door.
"Don't you worry about Jeremiah mother, he hates Oscar T. - and Oscar T. is who he is after. But then, that's no secret, is it?"
Anthony opened the door for them.
"By Monday mother, I'll be sure to check on it, reminding you first thing!" Deidre called back to her stepping into the car with Samuel holding the door open for her.

Crystal splashed about in the pool with her boys, enjoying them in the water, now that they had the confidence to swim, via; floating on their backs. Darren especially enjoyed it, he was content to float on his own for sometime if they didn't take him out of the water. Crystal stayed nearest him, while watching Isaac splash and play having a good time. Mundo and Angela were off to the mall to shop. Mundo wanted to pick up some albums and music. Angela wanted to get some L.A. souvenirs as gifts for her grandparents and cousins. On the way home they would pick up some movies and popcorn; escorted by her bodyguard and her new driver. Both would be going to Wisconsin with them, as well two others, assigned to her. Once in Wisconsin, they could relax their guard a bit, once things were set up there.
Shawn and Sylvia were still in bed, sleeping the day away it would seem.
Ben, stood at the sliding glass doors watching Crystal and the boys. He was trying to figure out did it make sense for him to leave now? It was after all Friday night, the entire family would be leaving Saturday night to arrive in Wisconsin Sunday morning. Deidre and Charlie would be arriving Monday evening, with Jeremiah showing up later in the week. As he stood there thinking, he decided to go back with everyone else. At this point, what did one more day matter. He slid the door open stepping outside, closing it behind him. Walking out, he took a seat watching them, his eyes on Crystal. He couldn't help himself, and he didn't try to hide why he'd come out. She looked over at him, smiled and waved. Isaac saw him and started calling out to him, to watch this, watch that.
"Be careful Isaac!" Both of them called out at the same time. Their eyes met, and together they smiled. Darren turned over in the water, he was able to dog paddle now. He made his way to the edge, "Ge'me Ben ... ge'em." He called out from the pools edge. Taking a towel up, Ben stepped forward, then knelt, lifting him from the water into the towel. "You tired my lil'man, huh?"
"Me ti'ad Ben."
Ben moved back from the edge of the pool with him, sitting on the lounger, he dried him off, talking to him. "You are such a good swimmer now."
"Em hm, smimin' good Ben."
"Yeah, you sure do." He replied. Feeling the need to look up as he dried and dressed Darren, he saw Crystal gazing intently at him from the center of the pool. He smiled, winked, "What? You want me to take you out, dry you off next?" He flirted.
She laughed, shook her head and went back to playing with Isaac.
He stood with Darren and took him into the house, sitting him on the counter, he peeled an apple for him, slicing it up to feed the wedges to. "Darren..." he called his name. Darren looked up smiling, opening his mouth like a hungry baby bird for a worm. Ben popped in an apple wedge, "I love you lil'man - and if you ever want me, tell your mama, call Ben, okay?"
"'kay." he agreed with a vigorous nod of his head, "Pea'bu'ah Ben."
"You want peanut butter with your apple wedges?"
"Yeah, pea'bu'ah Ben."
Lifting him back onto his hip, he walked to the cabinet and grabbed the Skippy, returning him to the spot to dab on peanut butter for him, enjoying the alone time with him. "You love me Darren?" He asked, he couldn't help himself.
Darren nodded his head vigorously once more, "Lub'you Ben, gi'kiss!" He lifted his face puckering up peanut butter and apple juice lips for him to kiss. Chuckling, Ben complied, leaning onto the counter as the baby ate the apples, dipped them into the peanut butter, and then, fed one to Ben, who opened wide for him. "G'boy Ben." Ben cracked up, "Em, that was good, can I have another?" Darren nodded and grabbed up another, sticking it into the peanut butter, and then into Ben's mouth.
Crystal and Isaac came in then, she looked over to see her son feeding Ben, and him loving every bit of it. One moment she was watching his mouth open to take the snack and the next, it was opening to her, covering her mouth, grabbing her body to his, his large tongue, going deep. The instant fantasy made her breathless. She quickly looked away to Isaac, whom she'd dried outside and dressed. "You want some apples and peanut butter too?"
"Yeah!" He cheered, "Fix me some too Ben."
"Comin' right up."
Crystal went upstairs, leaving her boys in his capable hands. She took a quick shower, dried off, put on some shorts and a tank top for around the house and then went into her and Angela's room to put her clothes away when to her surprise, she was snatched in, thrust against the door, and kissed, hard. Ben pressed himself against her, his mouth completely covering hers, his tongue going deep, his nose rubbing against hers, inhaling her incredible scent. Crystal stiffened to stop him and then, gave in. She wrapped her arms around him, and let him kiss her as she imagined he would. They needed to breathe, when he broke it so they could, she asked, "The boys?"
"Watching Monster's Inc. - they're fine. I may - never get a chance - to - do this again." He dove for her mouth again, wrapping his arms around her, squeezing her body up against his own. His erection was almost instant, it could not be missed. Crystal felt her self flush, wet, swollen, wanting him. She turned her head away, breathing hard. "Oh God Ben, I can't do this, it's not right - it's too soon."
He turned her face back to him and kissed her again, this time, more gently. Slowly, gradually, he brought himself under control, and backed away from her. But he was flushed head to foot with passion for her. "I don't know when, I don't know how - but - you're gonna be mine one day, Crystal Bella - mind, heart, body and soul... all mine. And you're gonna love me, the way your mother, loves him. That's what I want." He walked by her, taking hold of the door knob. Crystal couldn't move, could barely breathe. "I better get back to the boys." He hinted, to let him out.
