Still able to think, she caught the clip holding his hair and pulled it free, tossing it across the room. The heavy braid fell over his shoulder, and she quickly worked the braid loose, wrapping the black silk around her hand. She tried to hold back, but he had hit the fuse several times, and she had to be fucked or orgasm on her own. “Sham, now and hard.”

Her wish was granted. His weight sent her into orbit, but bliss came when he entered her slick opening. She gasped with surprise and delight as he stretched her to fill her with his hot length, his mouth stealing her breath as he stroked in and out like a stallion breeding his mare. He fucked her slow and fast, pulling away until she clawed his back and crashing back into her until she saw red stars behind her eyes. The ridges of his cock scraped her clit and inside her pussy until she gave into the burst of fiery release. She clung to him for her life and couldn’t let go until he shuddered and groaned in his climax.

Staring up at the pastel flowers on the vaulted ceiling, Carol thought about what had happened in the past few hours.

You’re crazy, girl. Wanting two men who obviously already have a life together that doesn’t need a woman to mess it up
.

She rolled to her side and chewed her lip.

This wasn’t what she wanted. The time had come to move on.

Chapter Five

Carol closed her eyes and savored the mimosa Sham had brought her to enjoy in bed. What more could she ask for? A fantastic fuck and a man equally awesome afterward. He settled in beside her, quiet, but not in a nerve-wracking way. He was a calming wave after the storm she had just been through.

“So, tell me about the things in your cock.” She saw no reason to be subtle or coy.

“Do you like them?” His smile was teasing, and she liked his way, liked everything about him.

“I’ll just say I came three times just thinking about them.” He took her empty glass to set it on the nightstand. “Tell me about you, and don’t skip around this time by changing the subject.” She snuggled close to his warm frame and waited.

“It’s called pearling, something to give my partners maximum pleasure.” He took her hand to press it to his dick. “I had this done when I was a lot younger. As you can see, there are four exposed beads around the head and six just under the skin on the shaft. They rise up just enough to touch a lover’s sensitive spots.”

She gazed at his unusual cock with a smile playing over her lips. “You have more than enough to please. What’s the real reason?”

He draped his arm across her shoulders, his eyes shuttered as if he had difficulty finding the right words. “In Ceylon, in the old circle of society, it is expected for a young man of fifteen to take a wife. I was fifteen and a half when they arranged a marriage for me.” He paused to rub his forehead in obvious distress.

Carol sensed the subject was painful for him. “Did something tragic happen?”

He laughed softly. “You see, my parents thought it was the only way to cure me of my strange ways. I am Shamod, the only son of wealthy tea plantation owners. My reputation had to be spotless.”

Having known him for only a short span of time, Carol couldn’t imagine him shaming anyone. “Parents expect a lot. And they get testy when we disappoint them.” Her hand rested on his thigh.

He took her hand and examined her fingers as he spoke. “I committed the unpardonable. I see them clear as day, my parents’ horrified expressions upon catching me and a young field worker, enjoying each other’s bodies.” Sham grimaced. “For months, they ostracized me, finally hitting upon the idea of marriage. I was a shameful thing that had to be hidden.”

Her heart broke for him. Carol longed to ease his pain. “How did it end?”

For a moment, he appeared to have forgotten the subject, his sultry attention on her nipples. “Badly, I am afraid. The young girl they brought to our marriage bed was terrified of my size and me in general. She asked for an annulment. I had not touched her. There was no drama over it since the marriage was not consummated.”

“Stupid girl.” Carol lay across his chest and kissed his shoulder. “I should send her a thank you note.”

He laughed his rich warm way and pulled her closer. “Anything else you want to know?”

“Absolutely.” She hadn’t been this content for a long time. Maybe she should let it go, but she couldn’t. “You and Baron. Where did you meet?”

“I can answer that.” The cheerful retort came from Baron who leaned against the doorframe, taking in the scene on the bed. “It happened just like a scene in a movie. I dropped into a little bar in San Francisco and noticed this guy fighting off a couple of eager barflies.” Baron dropped down beside her to kiss her hip.

Carol grinned mischievously. “And you were one of them.”

“I’m smarter than that.” Baron lay back and sighed deeply, a smile on his tanned face. “I sat down beside him and asked if he wanted a job. He gored me with his stare, told me he wasn’t looking for work or a blow job. I convinced him I was looking for a business partner, not a session in the sack.”

She patted his belly, warming to the idea of being with both of them. “You are persuasive.” She wanted to know more about them. “How about you, Baron? Any sordid love stories you care to share?”

He laughed, rolling onto his side to drag her away from Sham, who listened to their banter. “You’re the most sordid thing in my life.” He murmured against her ear. “And the most desirable. I think you complete us. How about it? The three amigos permanently?”

Now they had both brought up the idea of her staying with them. “That’s the wine talking, Baron.”

He looked disappointed. He didn’t know her. She pried his hand from her thigh and crawled over him to stand on the floor. She had to be alone for a while. Both of her hosts stared at her with quiet contemplation. Sham got up and pulled on his lounge pants, standing with his hands on his hips. He gestured toward her with a hint of a smile.

“If I scared you off with my story, I apologize.” He obviously took her sudden flight personally. “I thought you wanted the truth.”

Now what? How did she always ruin a perfect moment with her desire to be alone.

“Sham.” She wanted to reassure him he had nothing to do with her personal problem. “You have been wonderful, and I love you for being so open with me.” She was suddenly aware that she stood nude before two virtual strangers, shivering as a cool breeze rushed over her skin. It was time for her to go home.

Get your clothes on, damn it
.

She found her dress and pulled it over her head in a hurry.

Baron got up to help her put the dress on. “Just think about it, Carol.” He lightly kissed her neck. “You wouldn’t be sorry.” He laughed. “Heck, we’re gone most of the time. You’d have the house to yourself.” He turned to look at Sham who had begun to re-braid his hair. “It would be nice to have you here when we get back from jobs. Wouldn’t it, Sham?”

“Nothing would make me happier.” Sham joined her and Baron, hugging her waist and Baron’s neck. “I would enjoy having an artist around. Perhaps some of your culture will rub off on Baron.”

He had to be making fun of her. Culture was not in her vocabulary.

She looked at them both with a half smile and wondered if they were for real. “Maybe we can have a spa party at my place. We can play twenty questions and see just how compatible we are.”

“Tell me again why playing electrician was a good idea.” Baron sank into his favorite club chair to voice the rest of his opinion. “Of all the women in all the houses we could have gone to…”

“Enough.” Sham picked up the wine glasses from their after-dinner drinks and laughed softly. “You sound like something out of an old movie.” He poked his head around the door. “Where did you go in such a hurry? What’s up?”

“Well, hell.” Baron checked his cell phone for messages. “She wasn’t supposed to be there. Head office said Bell was heading this way but didn’t say anything about a dynamite ex-wife. “

Sham shrugged and walked off toward the kitchen. “I call that fate. We were doing our job. We’re bounty hunters, and Gordon Bell is a wanted man.”

“How are we going to square this with Carol?” Baron scrubbed his hand over his face. “She’ll never want to be with us again if she finds out what we really are.” He leaned back, closing his eyes. “Maybe we can head him off before he makes it to her place.”

Sham sat on the arm of the chair, his expression grim. “She might thank us when she finds out he’s a wanted gun runner.”

“Not her. I’d wager she is the type that defends family, no matter what.” Baron took Sham’s hand and pressed it to his cheek. “He’s Carol’s ex. There may still be ties there.”

“That would make things more difficult, maybe impossible.” Sham worked his fingers through Baron’s thick hair. “I don’t want to hurt her in any way.”

“Same here. We’ll work something out.” Baron reached up to tug on Sham’s braid. “We’ll worry about that tomorrow. I’ve got other things on my mind right now.”

Carol didn’t want to waste time on little things like wondering what she’d gotten into this time. She liked being a free spirit and flew high and wide whenever she felt the need. But the idea of being with Baron and Sham was beginning to feel better all the time. She liked both of them and didn’t look forward to telling them goodbye.

While she worked up a new background design for a bra manufacturer, she did a fast inventory of her life. Some college, several short term jobs for designers, and lots of men. Now that she had found not one, but two mind-boggling men, why did she worry it would cramp her style? What style? She had no friends, not that she needed or wanted a bosom buddy. The parties she went to usually ended up with her slipping out of some guy’s bedroom at dawn.

She lay her pen down to glance at the clock on the stereo. Midnight and she was bored. She couldn’t help wondering what Baron and Sham were doing. Probably each other. She grinned, turning her attention back to the artwork on the floor.

Finishing the project was impossible now. In all her adventures across the country, she’d never met two men like them. One was refined, educated, and a thoughtful lover, while the other was just above a wild street fighter with enough charm and sex appeal to get any woman he wanted. Including her.

She sucked on a cherry Popsicle while trying to put her newest lovers in an ordered frame of personalities. They didn’t fit what they professed to be. She believed Sham’s story. There was something tragic about him. But Baron still hadn’t revealed much of himself under that randy hide.

Chewing on the stick, Carol decided it didn’t matter. She liked them and just might spend the rest of summer with them, maybe the winter. But there was a little matter of knowing what went on between them while she wasn’t around. Sure, she’d pictured them together in a bare-assed clench, riding each other like bulls, but that wasn’t enough. She wanted to watch.

Chapter Six

She mailed her art work to the fashion magazine and happily walked out to her car. Carol stopped at a nearby mall, heading straight for the boutique that specialized in sexy underwear. In the mood to splurge, she looked over the selection, picking out several pairs of lace crotch-less panties in black and red.

A bustier of black satin with red ribbons caught her eye. This one might put ideas in Baron’s head. The emerald green looked like something Sham would like. While she paid for the items, she thought it a silly thing to do. They wanted her naked. She walked resolutely to the entrance, thinking that wasn’t up to them. She wanted to look pretty, and they would like it.

She grimaced. Already thinking of them as being a threesome before she knew what they wanted one was stupid. She was certain of one thing. She’d not tire of either of them for a long time.

Remembering she’d invited them for a hot tub date, she stopped at her favorite deli and picked up Italian ham and some good cheese to go along with a crusty loaf of bread. A block away from her building, she pondered the hundreds of wine labels on fancy bottles. She’d never cared what year wine was bottled, only that it tasted good on her tongue.
