"Do you think you can be a good girl and never
run from me again?" he teases as he nibbles behind my ear, licking
my sensitive flesh. My clit is pressed right against his hard cock,
and I grind against it soaking his pants.

"You are so wet for me, Ash, I'm going to
unfasten my pants, and you are going to put this cock in that pussy
of yours. Do you understand me?"

"Yes, Sir," I reply, "I am going to put your
big cock in my pussy," I tell him, his eyes twinkling at me with
approval.

I lift up on my knees eager for his touch. His
pants fall loose in the front, freeing his cock. Standing straight
up, his cock waits for me to take it by the hand. Wrapping my fist
around the base of his shaft, I slide it up toward the tip before I
position myself over it.

Grabbing my hips, his eyes hold mine, not
letting me look away as he pulls me down, sliding his cock into my
wet sheath. The muscle is warm and hard and it stretches me as my
body adjusts to his girth.

"You are not ever going to leave me again,
Ash," he tells me as he pumps his hips, driving his cock deep
inside me. Pressing my clit with his thumb, he makes my muscles
jerk around his cock and sends my body to the brink of
explosion.

"I will never leave you," I scream as I grind
against his thumb, his cock ramming me, his hands puling my hips
down with each thrust. His soft lips latch onto the skin of my
cleavage proudly displayed in my dress. Tiny tings of pain travel
through my body as he nibbles my sensitive flesh.

"Because I love you," I scream as his pumping
pushes me over the edge, and my muscles convulse around his cock as
he pumps inside me, drawing out my pleasure. He thrusts deeply
inside and grunts out his pleasure as he explodes inside me. Our
bodies sated, I lay my head against him, both arms wrapped around
his neck as I wait for my breathing to slow.

"Thank you," he says.

"You will love me every day from now on. I can
be real jackass sometimes and controlling, but I want you to always
remember that you love me. Even if I run off to work and neglect
telling you how very much I love you, I want you to wait for me and
yell at me for doing so when I get home to you, every
time."

Laughing to prevent myself from crying, I
agree with him, "every time".

The limo comes to a stop and I realize I have
no idea where he was taking me.

"Where are we?" I ask.

"Our apartment," he says.

"You are moving in right now," he informs
me.

Kissing him firmly on the lips, I agree
"...Our apartment. I just have one request," I add. "If you plan on
standing in my living room for a prolonged period of time, I prefer
that you did so buck ass naked."

Laughing, he agrees.

Epilogue

"Mommy, mommy!" Henry exclaims, "Look, I did
it!"

Looking up from my book, I see that he did
indeed catch a perch from his Grandpas' lake.

"That is terrific," I compliment
him.

"Let me help you toss him back, he needs to be
much bigger next time we meet him."

"That's right, so you have to eat broccoli,
even without cheese, and drink all your milk, Fishy," Henry's tells
the fish.

We take the fish off the hook, and Henry
decides he wants to play in his fishing cabin turned
three-year-old's playhouse. I lead him up the weathered path, hand
in hand.

The soft purr of a sleek black SUV draws our
attention as we squint to see the vehicle pull into the driveway of
the main house. Jumping up and down, Henry yells, "Daddy! Daddy is
home."

"He is," I agree.

Rushing up the path, Blake carries groceries
in his large arms bending down to kiss my cheek.

"I caught a huge fish, Daddy. I have to call
uncle Paul."

"That is wonderful," Blake tells him handing
him a loaf of bread to bring into the house.

"I still didn't see any lake nymphs though.
I'll keep looking just like you said."

A sly smile spreads across Blake's face, as he
winks at me, "They are very hard to find, Henry, a man can go a
lifetime before he is able to catch one."

Leaning in to brush his lips across mine, he
tells me, "But they are well worth the wait."

Awakenings

As Toni Becker tucked her kids in for the
night, she thought about how much she still had to get done before
she could go to sleep herself. She was always tired these
days.

Johnny, her five-year-old, looked up at her,
those beautiful green eyes and long eye lashes bouncing off his
chubby cheeks. Her heart overflowing with love, she gently brushed
back strands of his thin, brown hair with her fingers, caressing
his tender face. He was the very image of his handsome father, his
wonderful daddy whom he would never know. She kissed him, "Mommy
loves you. Sweet dreams."

"I love you, too, Mommy. Sweet
dreams."

And then she climbed up the bunk bed ladder to
where her daughter, Fiona, waited patiently for her turn with Mom.
She favored her mother more, but Toni could see where she favored
John as well. Fiona smiled, flashing her lovely brown eyes as she
hugged and kissed her goodnight. "I love you, too, Baby Girl. Sweet
dreams."

"I love you! Sweet dreams!" Fiona echoed, as
Toni descended the ladder and went back to the kitchen to finish
the laundry and dishes. She marveled at how long she had been
surviving on her own, but she was never sure how much longer she
would be able go on. She remembered thinking she would die from the
sadness when her darling husband had been killed while she was
pregnant with Johnny. But somehow she had made it
through.

She had two sisters and a half-brother, but
they were all in the military, so she never got to see them as much
as she would like. They were all much too far away to help her out.
John had been her high school sweetheart. They started dating
sophomore year, and during junior year she got pregnant. Even
though the timing was terrible, they had still been ecstatic to
meet their first child. They got married, he finished high school,
but she dropped out to make ends meet.

Her husband had been a plumber's apprentice
who was right on the verge of getting his journeyman's license.
They had always agreed that kids do best when one parent could stay
home and take care of the family while the other one earned a
living, but for a long time, they had not had that luxury, so Toni
had needed to wait tables to make ends meet. They were very much
looking forward to John being able to bring home enough money that
Toni would not have to work.

When she had Fiona, she had to go back to work
when the baby was four weeks old. Oh, how she had hated that.
Leaving her sweet baby girl every day to go wait on a bunch of
strangers did not make any sense to her. But with the new baby, she
was going to be able to do what felt natural, stay home and take
care of her babies.

When John died, Toni's parents were no help to
her at all. They were divorced when she was young, and continued to
make everyone's lives miserable anytime they got the chance. They
fought constantly and moved around a lot, and the last thing she
needed was more people to care for and worry about.

John had worked for a terrific man, Joe
Pedrotti. Joe really had a lot of respect for John, and took it
upon himself to look after Toni and the kids. His wife, Betty, was
a nice lady. She was a great cook and would often invite them over
for home cooked meals on Sunday. Toni enjoyed her hospitality, and
the kids liked going there, too.

Joe knew that Toni could not make enough money
to cover living expenses waiting tables, plus the schedule would be
sporadic, making things much more difficult for her raising the
kids alone, so he gave her a job as a plumber's helper. And even
though he got called out at all hours, he would only let her work
Monday through Friday during school hours.

When Johnny was born, Betty babysat Fiona and
took good care of Toni and her new baby. She was always willing to
pick them up from daycare or school when they were sick. That had
been very helpful. She was grateful to have the Pedrottis in her
life. She cringed when she thought about where her little family
might be now without such good people to depend on.

When Toni finally finished up, she went back
into the bedroom to find both children asleep. She stood for a
moment and thought about how angelic they looked when they were
asleep and how much they meant to her. She crawled into her own
bed. Well, she did not really have a bed. It was more like just a
twin-sized mattress on the floor, but it did not matter to her what
it looked like as long as she got some well-earned rest on
it.

***

After dropping the kids off at school, Joe and
Toni pulled up outside an enormous new house that had just been
built. They were here to finish the installation they had started
before the house went up. Toni liked new installation much better
than fixing old broken pipes. She ran her hands along the counter
in the bathroom. She thought about the cost of the fixtures. It
dumbfounded her to think about how much rent she could pay with
that amount of money. I could outfit my children until they
graduated from high school.

The usual characters came and went; the
electricians and rock work guys the same ones she knew from other
jobs. Surprisingly, she did not have to put up with much macho
nonsense. She was pretty sure that Joe had threatened to tell their
wives or mothers. Maybe he even threatened to kick their asses. He
was damn strong for an old man. Every now and then a new worker
would join a crew. It was easy to spot them because they all would
try hitting on her. She never looked at them or spoke. She did not
have to. The other guys would reel them in and make them behave.
Everyone looked out for her like a sister.

At lunchtime, Joe ran errands, so
Toni explored the house looking for a deck with a great view. She
sat down alone outside to enjoy the marvelous mountains in the
distance. Her throat and lungs full of glue fumes and dust, she
searched for relief. I gotta get some fresh air. There was no
furniture, so she sat on cold concrete floor. Fiona and Johnny
would love this house! I

ll make sure and tell them every
detail.

A man she had never met came out on the deck.
He greeted her casually then stood by the railing looking out at
the mountainside and the river than ran through it. She was not
sure whether she should get up or not. She started gathering her
things, but he told her to stay put, so she relaxed and went back
to her sandwich. He is not wearing work clothes. Who is he? His
Latino accent was very strong, almost unintelligible. He had really
thick dark hair and a dark complexion. He looked to be nearly six
feet tall and built really well.

"You are the prettiest plumber I ever
met."

Caught off guard by his comment, she laughed,
"That's not much of a compliment, but thank you anyway." Then it
was his turn to laugh.

When she finished eating, she gathered up her
things and went inside. He stayed out on the deck for a good long
while. She had no idea who he was, but he was one fine-looking man.
She made a mental note to stay away from him. She had to stay
focused on taking care of her kids, so there was no room in her
life for a man. Not even for one that sexy. Especially not for one
that sexy!

***

While the kids worked on their homework, Toni
put a frozen casserole in the oven. She tried to help Fiona with
her math, but it was too confusing, making her feel very
inadequate. Lots of things made her feel that way. At least I can
help Johnny with his alphabet worksheets. High five, me!

She told them about the house she was working
in, "It is just like something you see on TV." Johnny's eyes got
big. She described the deck she sat on and everything she could see
from there. Johnny wanted to know if there were any bears in the
woods. She just smiled and shook her head.

"If there are, I hope they stay in the woods,"
Fiona said, raising her brow defiantly the way only a 12-year-old
girl can.

"I would karate chop that bear!" Johnny held
up his wee little hands, not looking quite as scary as he thought
he did. Fiona rolled her eyes.

Toni let her thoughts roam to the
man standing on the deck. Victor was so different from other guys.
What was it about him that got my attention? Oh, you mean besides
the fact that he

s super hot, and his voice sounds like something from a
Spanish novella? Oh, yeah, that, who can remember? She had not been
even slightly attracted to anyone since John died. It occurred to
her how long it had been. Nearly six years. Whoa!
That

s a long
time to be doing without a little bump bump! But she knew even if
she had nobody in her bed for 20 years, all that mattered was her
kids’ health and happiness. And besides, between the baby and the
depression, she had gained a lot of weight If the choice is between
getting stabbed in the eyeball with a cinnamon-flavored toothpick,
or showing my ugly, fat body to a new man, bring on the toothpicks!
The smell of her food in the oven heating up made her stomach
growl.
