he day passed with no productive work. On Monday I went to school. On the way to school,
“Hey I think today we may get our papers” Sandhya said.

“What today only we will get all our papers?” I asked her.

“Yes today itself we will get all our papers” Sandhya said.

On hearing that tension started building up in my head. I became nervous just at the thought of getting the papers.

First was our Hindi class. The teacher came in the class with a bundle of answer sheets in his hand. Whole class was silent. He started distributing papers roll number wise. I got my paper. I had obtained only 63 marks out of 100. I felt bad. I saw Ishants paper, he had obtained 94 marks.

“Hey Sandip how much have you obtained” Sandhya asked.

“First you tell your marks” I said to her

“86” she replied.

“Now tell me your marks” she said.

“My marks are not that good Sandhya” I said.

She was pestering me continuously to tell her my marks. One by one we got all our papers. All the teachers told me to improve my performance and concentrate on my studies.

In the recess also Sandhya kept on asking me my marks but I avoided her somehow.

I was in a very bad mood the whole day. On our way back home Sandhya said

“Hey Sandip I am really sorry to ask you about your marks so many times in the class. I know your score. It’s not good. But now onwards if you give your complete attention to your studies I am damn sure that you will score very well in the next exam. You have that caliber in you. I am always there to help you”

“Hey thanks for your counseling. I promise you that next time I will be the A grad student in all the subjects” I said.

“I know you can do it” she said with a smile.

“Hey by the way how did you know my marks?” I asked her.

“Your answer sheets had fallen down on the floor I saw you papers and went to pick them, and put them in your bag but while keeping the papers inside your bag I saw your papers and the marks written on it. I didn’t like it at all” she said.

“Its okay if you had not seen my marks today, you wouldn’t have said all that which you said now. Thanks a lot” I expressed my genuine gratitude.

“Don’t worry about your mark I will not tell it to any one” Sandhya said with a smile.

We reached at Sandhya’s place and I went further alone. I reached my house and took my lunch.

I was recalling what Sandhya told me. I thought that I will keep my promise to her and this time I will bring A grade and show her. I thought of starting my studies from now onwards.

“Sandip I think today the sunrise took place from the west” my mom came in my room and said after seeing me study.

“Why mom?” I said by hearing it.

“Because you are studying so early and also with your full concentration.” she said.

“Yes from today I will study and only study” I said. When she went I again started my studies. At night after taking the dinner, I slept. I woke up early in the morning the next day. I again started my studies. In the school everything which the teacher was teaching I was listening to it with full concentration.
My days passed studying. I had gained interest in studies and now I was all set for my upcoming exams.

t was my birthday. I had turned 15. As I woke up in the morning that day I saw some 180 messages on my cell phone which contained wishes from all my friends.

I had told my mom well before hand that I want to celebrate this birthday with a grand party as I had decided it would be my last birthday celebration. I won’t be celebrating from the next year. I went out and my parents wished me. They gave me a surprise by gifting me a laptop.

I went with my friends. They were waiting for me outside. They all wished me.

“Hey thanks. By the way today I have kept a birthday party at my house so you all must come at my house by evening seven” I said.

“Ok we will come” they said. Like every day I went to Sandhya. She saw me.

“Hey happy birthday” Sandhya said.

“Thanks, today I have kept a party at my house so you should come ok” I said.

“Of course I will come” she said with her pretty smile.

“Hey you both should come to my house today ok” I said to Nitin and Ishant after reaching school.

“Yes we will come” they said.

The school got over and I and Sandhya were on our way back.
“Hey Sandip what time should I come to your house” Sandhya asked me.

“Come at seven” I said.

When I reached home I received a big surprise. My friends from my old school had come at my place. They all wished me together. I was very happy to see all of them.

Gig, Sanjay, Aman, Manish, Suman, and Sandy had come.

“Hey Sanjay how did you all come to my house? thanks for coming here” I said to Sanjay.

“It’s our best friend’s birthday today. How could we not have come?” Sanjay replied.

“Hey Sandip I have heard that you are in love with someone hummmm, I think the girl will be very beautiful” Sandy said to me with a smile.

“Yes she is” I said.

“Hey you one day you said me that you will never fall in love with anyone but now what happened?” Suman teased me.

“Hey that I told you before not now so I can love now” I said.

“Is she coming?” Manish asked me.

“Yup she is coming tonight at seven” I said.

“Hey when we were with you those days you never took anyone of us to the restaurant but now you went on a date with your love ha” Aman said teasing me.

“It’s not like that yar” I said looking everyone.

“Then how it is ha, you should show that girl to us today ok”

“I shall introduce you all to her” I replied.

“Hey does she know that you love her?” Sandy asked.

“I don’t know but till now I have not told her that I love her” I replied. It was seven in the evening.

“Now I think all my new friends will be coming” I said to my old friends. Firstly Ishant and Nisha came.

“Hey you both are looking very beautiful together” I said to them with a smile.

“Thanks” Ishant and Nisha said together.

“Hey some of my old friends have come here. Wait I will call them” I said.

After sometime Celina came to my house. She gave me my birthday gift and wished me.

“Is this girl Sandhya” Gig came near me and asked in my ears.

“No she is Celina” I replied.

Sandhya came. She was looking very beautiful that day. She came to me and gave me the birthday gift and just kissed my cheek with a smile.

I was very happy after I got the kiss gift from my love. Suddenly I became very nervous as I realized that everyone had seen Sandhya kissing me.

“Hey these are all my old friends” I said by looking at Sandya.

“Hey you no need to tell who is she we know she is Sandhya” all my old friends said with a smile.

“Hey how did you know that I am Sandhya?” Sandhya with her pretty smile asked my friends.

“Because whenever he talks to us he always tells about you” Sandy said by giving a smile to Sandhya.

“Hey where is Nisha” Sandhya looked at me and asked.

“Hey she is there with Ishant outside” I replied.

“Hey you Sandy and Suman come with me. You boys are you not coming with me” Sandhya said turning.

“No we will come later” the boys told together.

“Hey how did you know that she was Sandhya” I looked at Gig and asked him.

“It was very simple to know by that kiss” Gig said with a smile.

“Hey did you see that” I asked Gig.

“Yes we all saw that” Manish replied.

“All saw?” I again asked.

“Not all I think just we had seen it” Aman said with a smile.

“Hey Sandip how was the kiss” Gig looked at me and asked.

“Hey Sandip I forgot to tell you a thing that tomorrow is rose day and after that many wonderful days will be coming till the valentine so in this all the days you impress Sandhya” Gig said to me.

“Ok I will try it” I said.

“Hey Sandip lets cut your cake” my mom said coming out of the kitchen.

“Yes lets cut it mom, you bring the cake here” I replied.

After a minute she brought the cake and kept it on the table. And then I cut the cake and all sang the birthday song. Everyone had dinner after that and left.

My old friends went with my dad in the car to their house.

“Hey Sandip keep calling us” my old friends said.

“Yes why not, Good night bye” I said.

“Good night, bye-bye” they all said.

I went to my room after sometime. That kiss was on my mind continuously. It was rose day the next day and I slept thinking what to do on it. I wanted to make it special for my love.

woke up early next day. The first thought that came to my mind was that it was rose day. I was thinking of some different way to give rose to Sandhya. Finally I got an idea. Smiling I got up and went to get ready.

I went to our garden and plucked one red rose for Sandhya and some yellow roses for the other girls. As I was going back to my room my mom came in the garden. I somehow tried to hide the roses. I reached my room hiding the roses inside my shirt. As soon as I reached my room I locked the door from inside and kept the roses safely in my bag.

I was a bit scared. What if my mom had caught me? What if she asks me several questions? I was worried. The time was passing very slowly. It was not even my school time yet. I heard my mom calling me. I was scared. I went to her room and saw that my mom was packing bags.

“Sandip I and your dad are going out of town for some days and we are leaving now. Take this money till we return” my mom said.

“Mom why are you going” I asked.

“Sandip we have to go for some official work” my mom said by looking at me.

“Ok” I replied.

“We should leave now my son” my dad looked at me and said.

“Ok bye mom dad” I said. I was all alone now. I went to my room and studied for a while.

“Sandip come and eat your breakfast” the maid said I went and ate my breakfast. I left for school. I met my friends outside the house.

“Hey Sandip today is rose day. Will you give Sandhya a rose?” David asked.

“Yes why not” I replied.

After sometime I reached near Sandhya’s house

“Hey best of luck” all my friends said together.

“Hey lets go” Sandhya said.

“Sandhya wait” I replied. I took out my red rose and gave her.

“This is just for you and this is the true sign of my friendship towards you” I said to Sandhya by looking in her pretty eyes. After that Sandhya also gave me a red rose.

“If you will be my best friend, then I will try to make you my very close and very good friend forever” Sandhya said.

I accepted her rose. Does Sandhya also love me? Will she accept my proposal? These thoughts started pouring in my mind. We reached school.

“Happy rose day” Nisha gave me a rose and said.

“Thanks and wish you the same” I replied by giving her a yellow rose. Celina and many other girls from my class gave me roses.

Rest of the day passed casually in the school. I came back home. It was propose day the next day. I wasn’t able to find a special and unique way of proposing to Sandhya. I decided to call up Nisha and ask her. She knew that I loved Sandhya and I was sure she would solve my problem.

“Hey what are you doing?” I said to Nisha on the phone.

“Just doing my homework” she replied.

“Hey Nisha as you know that I love Sandhya but does she love

me” I asked her.

“No, I don’t know. I think she loves you. Why have you asked?” she asked.

“Just casually” I replied.

“Hey tomorrow is propose day. Will you propose Sandhya” Nisha asked.

“No it will be very difficult for me. You are so lucky you got your true love” I said.

“Yes you are right I got my true love and I am very happy for it and I shall pray that you also get Sandhya as your true love”

We kept on talking for a while. I decided to keep the propose day simple. Nothing special was on my mind.

The next day in school passes away quickly with no special happenings.

I came home and took my lunch and then went to the market to buy some sweets I was just thinking about tomorrows chocolate day.

At night I was lying down on my bed and thinking about Sandhya.

I don’t even know that does she love’s me or not. But I know that one day she will be mine.

It was 9th February and as you know that its Chocolate day. Then this morning I gave Sandhya Cadbury Bornville as soon as I met her. I received Cadbury celebrations from her. On reaching school many girls gave my cadbury.

We were returning back from school.

“Hey tomorrow is teddy day and you should give me a Barbie doll instead of a teddy bear” Sandhya demanded in a kiddies way.

“Ok I will see” I replied.

“No excuses. You have to get me a Barbie doll tomorrow” she said

“Ok I agree but what will you give me” I said.

“Do you also want a doll?” Sandhya teased me.

“Uhhh! No. but I will get one for you” I replied.

After dropping Sandhya I directly went to the gift shop and got a cute Barbie doll for Sandhya. It was really pretty just like my doll Sandhya.

I know Sandhya from just a few months still I keep on thinking about her 24x7. Is this true love? I slept with these thoughts in my mind,

Next day morning when I reached Sandhya’s house I didn’t show her that I had got a doll for her.

“Hey where is my doll?” Sandhya asked me.

“What doll?” I asked. Sandhya face fell.

“Ok Sandip lets go then” she said.

“Hey where you are going? Don’t you want your Barbie doll” I said stopping her. I gave her the doll.

“Hey Sandip thanks. From so many day I wanted this doll. Don’t you want your gift” Sandhya replied with her pretty smile.

“Hey I don’t need any doll” I replied.

“It’s not a doll. I think you will like it.” she said.

She took out an X-box game CD and gave me.

“Hey thanks, I wanted this game CD from so many days. Thanks a lot” I replied.

“I knew that you will be happy with it and also knew that you will be surely give me a Barbie doll” Sandhya said with her pretty smile.

Next day was a promise day. I was not sure what promise I should give Sandhya.

“Hey Sandip do you have any promise to make with me today as today is promise day?” Sandhya asked me.

“I didn’t thought, of any promise for today so you make a promise to me” I said to her.

“Hey lets together promise that whatever happens between us we will always be the friends” Sandhya said looking at me.

“Hey one more promise to you Sandip that is I will never let you do any stupid things alone” Sandhya said to me.

I could feel the chemistry between us while we were holding hands. I was very eager to tell her that I love her but I didn’t have that courage.

“Hey tomorrow is hug day will you not hug me?” Sandhya said to me after the classes were over.

We hugged each other. She again kissed me on my cheeks. And then I looked into her eyes and did the same to her. I wanted the time to stop there. I wanted the moment to freeze. I was so much in live with her.

After coming back home I was not able to study.

Next day was Sunday and it was very boring for me as mom dad were not at home.

It was kiss day. It was not possible for me to kiss Sandhya. That day in the assembly it was announced that next day will be a holiday for us. Everyone started jumping with joy.

“Hey Sandip are you free tomorrow” Ishant asked me.

“Yes of course” I replied.

“Ok then I will be coming to your house to play” Ishant said.

“Ok you can come” I replied.

“Hey Sandip tomorrow on the valentine are you going somewhere” Sandhya asked me.

“No I am not are you going” I said by looking at her.

“No I am also not going” she replied.

“Ok then Sandip bye” while going she said.

“Bye Sandhya” I replied.
