onday morning I was very excited to see my papers.

I reached at the school and saw Celina.

“Hey Celina are you afraid today” I asked her.

“Not much but little” she said.

“Hey I was calling you yesterday was your cell switch off” I asked Celina.

“Yes I didn’t charge it so it was switchd off” she said.

Sandhya came near me. “Sandip I am sorry what happened in between us lets start again everything from the beginning” Sandhya said by apologizing. I said nothing.

“I still love you and I didn’t accept your proposal because of Celina she said many wrong things about you to me and I had believed on it Sandip you please believe me now. She likes you only for your famousness in the school and she needs your profit” Sandhya again said.

“You don’t say anything about Celina to me. I know your realities now. And now I am in love with Celina and it will be better if you don’t come between our love” I said in an angry voice looking at Sandhya.

“Sandip I love you and love you and I don’t need anything from you. I just need your love for me” Sandhya said with tears in her eyes.

I became very upset by Sandhyas behavior. In the class our class teacher came and started distributing papers to us.

He called my name. I went and took my paper and I got the highest in the class and my marks were 96 out of 100. I was very happy to see my marks. Even Celina had scored quite well in all the subjects.

In the last period our teacher came in the class and asked who had scored the highest marks. Everyone took my name.

The teacher congratulated me and everyone clapped for me.

“Sandip try to understand me Celina wants only profit from you and she only needs the credits which you got” Sandhya said to me.

“Hey I think you are jealous of her” I said in an angry voice to Sandhya.

“Hey Sandip; Sandhya is right why you don’t understand her” Nisha and Ishant said. I said nothing and then I went out of the class. I called Celina.

“Hey Celina are you free tonight” I asked.

“Yes I am” she replied.

“Then will you come with me today to the green valley restaurant” I asked her.

“Yes why not I will come” she said.

“Ok then be ready at 6pm tonight” I replied.

“Ok I will be ready” she said.

“Mom I just need some money to enjoy with my friends” I again said a lie to my mom to go on a date with Celina. She gave me five hundred rupees.

“Mom I will be going at 5: 30 to my friends place” I said.

I got ready for my date and went to pick up Celina.

I
sent a message to Celina

“Hey r u ready”

She sent me a reply of that

“Yah I m ready”

I wrote in the message that

“Hey then I m coming 2 pick u now”

I went to the driver.

“Hey lets go” I said to the driver.

“Hey Sandip I think it’s a date with your new girlfriend” the driver asked me.

“Yes” I replied.

I showed him the way where to go to Celina’s house. We reached to her house. I saw Celina. She was wearing a black halter neck top and a jeans. I opened the door of the car. I told the driver to drive the car to green valley restaurant.

“Hey you are looking very beautiful” I said with a smile by looking at Celina.

“Thanks Sandip” Celina replied. We both reached to the restaurant.

“Hey in these days I think we are getting closer and closer” Celina said.

“Yes and I think its not good” I said.

“It’s good to be close” she replied.

“Please bring two plates of american chopsy” I said to the waiter.

We both kept on talking for a while. The waiter placed our order on the table.

“These days Sandhya always comes and disturbs me in the school by saying things which had happened earlier were not true it’s all because of you but I don’t agree to it” I said.

“Hey you don’t listen to her” Celina said in an anger voice.

“Hey Sandip I wane tell you something that is very much special. I love you” Celina said to me in a very sweet voice when we came out of the restaurant. Then as she said this she kissed me on my cheeks.

“I know that you love me but I want to hear that from your mouth” Celina said.

“Hey I too love you” I said with a smile.

As I said this, Celina came near me and was about to kiss me on my lips. I inched forwards and suddenly Sandhya’s image flashed in front of my eyes. I moved back.

“Hey what happened?” Celina said.

“I am not feeling well lets go home” I said in a low voice.

“Ok let’s go” Celina replied.

I dropped Celina to her house.

“Hey how was the date” my driver asked.

“Not so good” I replied.

“I think now you are bored with your dates” my driver said.

“No it’s not like that” I said. I reached home and didn’t eat my food. I directly went to my room and slept.

ext day morning as I woke up I was thinking about last evening. Did I do wrong in denying the kiss?

That day in school Sandhya again tried to talk to me.

“Sandip try to understand that I love I wane live with you. Why you don’t talk with me” Sandhya said in a sad tone.

“The days when I loved you and I proposed in a day you didn’t accept my proposal even though I said don’t go away from me I tried a lot to again re-friendship with you. But you didn’t return to me and now when I am in love with another girl you say that you love me” I said.

“How can I forget you my love, you are my everything” Sandhya said in a sad tune.

“No when I was in love with you, you didn’t even like” I said.

“No I loved you even at that time” Sandhya said.

“No its not true, oh, when I was in love with you then I was clean and brave and miles around the winder grew how well did I behaved, and now you went away from me and nothing had remained, and miles around they’ll say that I am quite myself again. Is this you love that you loved me before?” I said.

“Oh, you say this when I left you that day I cried a lot to not accept you” Sandhya said.

“Then what you think that I didn’t cried that day for you I was crying the whole night through thinking about you but I don’t cry for you now” I said.

Then Sandhya said nothing and then I went away from there, then; in this way Sandhya always come to me and realize her mistake and said about Celina. But I never listened to her.

Our next exams approached soon. I quiz contest like last time was also supposed to be held but I didn’t want to participate in it. I was not even confident about the exams. Everyone forced me to participate and so I did.

“Hey Sandip I know that this time also you will win the quiz and also be the topper of our class” Celina said.

“No I don’t think so” I replied.

“Of course you will be the topper and the first in quiz just try for me” she said.

“Ok let me see I will try” I replied.

Celina’s words got me into depression. Everyone had high hopes from me. Will I be able to fulfill it? I was tensed.

“M
om my examination will be starting from day after tomorrow and this time also I have participated in the quiz competition” I informed my mom when I came back home from school.

“You should study and I think this time also you will bring good marks and be the winner in the quiz competition” mom said with proud.

“I will see mom” I said in a low voice.

My exams started. First was the Mathematics paper. When I got the paper in my hand I went blank and couldn’t solve much of the paper.

“Hey Sandip how was your exam?” Celina said with a smile.

“Not so good. How was yours?” I replied.

“Yes it was good” she said.

Exams went off quite quickly. I didn’t perform well this time. Everyone wished me luck for the quiz contest but I wasn’t confident this time.

When the competition started I was eliminated in the first round itself. Disheartened I came down from the stage. Everyone was quite shocked by my elimination. I went to Celina with a sad face. She was not at all happy with my performance. When I tried talking with her she was very rude in her behavior.

“Hey Sandip what was the position in today in your quiz?” my mom asked me when I reached home.

“Mom it was not good at all I was eliminated in the first round itself” I said. She didn’t react to my words and left the room.

After two days we were going to get our papers. I was very afraid. I went to Celina just to share my fears with her and to my utter shock she walked away from me as if she hadn’t seen me.

“Sandip this time your performance is very poor. Study hard the next time” my teacher told me while giving my paper.

My marks were below average in every subject. I felt sick and depressed. I went to Celina. She was not even noticing me.

“What’s your score?” I asked Celina. But she didn’t even say a word and left from there. I repeated my words but she didn’t even look at me. “What happened yaar” I asked her again.

“Why are you disturbing me Sandip? What is your problem? Cant you see that I don’t want to talk to you” she replied in a rough tone.

“Are you angry with me?” I asked.

“Listen cant you understand that I don’t want to talk to you? Stop pestering me or else I will complaint to the teacher” Celina replied.

“Ok-ok I am sorry” I said in a low voice.

I walked away from there and I remembered Sandhya’s words. She had told me that Celina was with me only for her own sweet benefits and now I realized that.

Truth dawned to me slowly. I should have listened to Sandhya long time back but then I didn’t and that was my biggest mistake. I thought of going and asking Sandhya for forgiveness. But I doubt will she forgive me? I cursed myself for being biased.

“Hey Sandhya I am sorry for everything and also for not listening to your truth even though you loved me but I didn’t believed you and you were right that Celina was only my friend for my popularity in the school. Today I realized this Sandhya, please forgive me for my mistakes.” I said in a low voice by apologizing my mistake.

“Sandip it’s not your fault. It’s me who is to be blamed for all this chaos. I did the biggest mistake by listening to Celina. She told me all the negative things about you and I believed her. I love you Sandip and I am sorry” Sandhya said crying.

“I love you too Sandya. Even when I was with Celina in those days I used to think about you. You are my true love dear and I don’t want to lose you ever again” I replied.

“I love you Sandip” Sandhya said by hugging me.

“I love you too” I said.

“At last true love wins” after our long hug, Ishant said by looking at me and Sandhya.

“Now I think we should throw away Celina from this school” Nisha said looking at all of us.

“If from tomorrow I see you in this school then you see what will, I do to you” Nisha said by pointing her fingers to Celina with an angry voice.

“Hey from tomorrow lets again come like before on the cycle” Sandhya said.

“Ok then” I replied with a smile.

“Ok bye” Sandhya said. Then she went then I went to Nisha.

“Hey Nisha thanks for what you have done” I said with a smile.

“Your welcome and I knew that you both will be again meeting with each other one day” Nisha said.

“Ok bye” I said her.

Then I went with the cycle group.

“Hey I think Sandip today you are very happy” Veer said. “Yes why not” I replied.

“Hey Sandip you are good guy that you again took in you love as Sandhya” David said.

“It’s because our love was true” I said. That day even though I had scored less marks I was very happy because my true love was with me.

“Hey today we think you will be going with Sandhya to the school” my cycle group friends asked me the next morning.

“Yes why not” I replied with a smile.

Then after sometime on the same place Sandhya was been waiting for me then I went near to her.

“Hey come let’s go” I said by looking at Sandhya.

“Hey what did Celina told about me to you?” after sometime on the road I asked Sandhya.

“She told me that you loved other and you are just loving me for a sake and many things, but hey what did she told about me” Sandhy said.

“She told that you are just my friend for profit and you are a girl who makes bad relationship with the boys” I replied.

“Hey I think Celina had made a very big planning to break both of our friendship” Sandhya said by looking at me.

“Yes she has a master mind” I replied with a smile.

Then in this way we reached to the school then the school went as like the other days with fun. Celina didn’t come today to the school.

“Hey Sandhya tonight are you free” I asked Sandhya.

“Yes” she replied.

“Hey then will you come with me for a date today” I said to Sandhya with a smile.

“Yes why not” she said with her pretty smile.

“But this time you select the place where we will go” I said.

“As in our first date we both went to Salami restaurant so lets again go there” Sandhya said me with a smile.

“Ok then I agree but you should come at seven pm tonight ok” I said.
