Griffon's hand was strong and steady in hers
as she slipped the ring on his finger. Matat accepted the smoking
pipe from a weeping Tasha and held it high for all to see. "The
Smoking Pipe is a tradition my tribe has practiced for centuries.
The elements of earth," he held up the clay pipe, "fire," he lit
the dried herbs with a torch, "and wind," he blew the smoke over
the couple, "are quenched in water. May your lives be as complete
as those of creation."

Griffon drew Jade into his arms and smothered
her mouth with his own. His lips kissed away the tears from her
cheeks.

"You are mine forever."

Jade smiled. An eternity of happiness was
one blessing she would never refuse.

an Intell Specialist in the USMC, work as a nurse, and have degrees
