Each neighborhood will have a fresh produce market once or twice a week (apart from Mondays). The marché d'Aligre is open Tuesday–Sunday mornings. The selection is large, with covered and open-air areas, plus there are some great North African grocery stores.

À la petite fabrique du chocolat

This little chocolate shop was just around the corner from my first apartment in Paris, which wasn't a very good thing. My favorite is their dark chocolate praline bar.
C'est tellement terrible
(it's so bad, delicious) that I even managed to eat a whole bar in one sitting.
