I sat against the headboard wit' my hands resting on my stomach as tears fell from my eyes. I don't know what got into Legacy, but I didn't like it at all. He left so many bite marks on my skin that it looked as though I had been attacked by vampires or some shit, like I really thought that nigga was gon' fuckin' rape me. I love Legacy wit' all my heart, but I don't know how much longer I can deal with his bullshit and the girls callin' his phone all hours of the night. I don't care if he not fuckin' the thots, it's just the fact that he feels the need to have extra bitches even though he has me. I don't wanna seem insecure, but sometimes I feel like I ain't good enough for Legacy; no matter how hard I ride for him, it seems he'll always have another bitch ready to take my spot. smh I looked at the time, it was a little after one in the morning, I knew Legacy would be out for awhile so I just pulled the covers over me then prayed for God to keep him safe out there before I dozed off into a deep sleep.
I sat in Platinum's (one of the spots I had acquired in this takeover) sippin' Henny shots at the bar as I watched the strippers do they thang on the pole. My head was all fucked up from that shit that happened at the house. Who the fuck am I to put my hands on her in a way that don't show love? As I threw back the shot, my mind races as my emotions in that moment flood my head.
Confusion that she had accused me of cheatin' on her, anger that she had slapped me, and rejection that I been cravin' her body and love for weeks...hell even months but she was denyin' me the intimacy that I craved. All I wanted was to be body to body wit' her, and make love to her, but since the pregnancy and her bein' back in school, she never in the mood. No matter how 'romantic' I try to make shit for her wit' flowers, candle lights, soft music, and other shit; don't get it twisted, just 'cause I'm a thug, street nigga, kingpin, or whatever don't mean a nigga can't be a gentleman and have a soft side for his girl.
But even though I do all'at shit, Khy still won't let me touch her and a nigga tired of jackin' off fa'real. I sighed deeply as I threw back another shot; I was faded as fuck and I figured I had enough, so I grabbed my keys from the bar gettin' ready to leave when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turn my head and come face to face wit' a set of bright honey colored eyes, smooth brown skin, long honey blonde hair. She had nice plump breasts that sat up perfectly in her white fitted dress that hugged her curves just right, and her ass! Man she had an ass like K. Michelle, damn she was beautiful, but who the fuck is she?
"Hope you aren't leaving now that I've gotten the courage to step to you. I'm Kiari by the way." she smiled showin' her perfect white teeth.
"Nice to meet you, I’m Legacy," I replied.
She shook my hand then we just kinda stood there in silence for a minute. I don't kno' what the hell I was thinkin', but the next words out my mouth would be words that I’d regret forever.
"I'm 'bouta get outta here, you wanna roll wit' me?" I asked.
"Sure, but what'd you have in mind?" she asked.
"Let's go to my spot for a lil private fun," I said.
She smiled and nodded then followed me out the club to my Bentley and we headed to one of my trap spots for a lil nightcap.
I woke up to an empty bed meaning Legacy didn't come home last night. I hate when he stays away from home and doesn't call, it makes me worry like crazy and he knows it. I grab my phone from the nightstand and dial his number, but get no answer so I call Luke's number. The phone rings four times then he answers.
"Khy, wassup lil cuz? You ok?" he asks.
"Hey Luke, I'm sorry to call so early but have you heard from Legacy? He ain't come home last night so I figured he was at your place," I said.
"Nah, I ain't heard from his since yesterday mornin'. What did he leave home for?" he asks.
"We an argument that got kinda physical and-"
"Wait he hit you?" he asked.
Let's be real, Legacy ain't dumb enough to hit me. I mean he may snatch me up or shake me a little but nothin' serious. Besides, he knows Chino, Luke, or my dad would fuck him up if he tried that.
"No he didn't hit me, that nigga ain't stupid. He was just a lil rough wit' me or whatever and I made him leave," I sighed.
"Aight, I'm just makin' sho'. He may have stayed at one of the traps or whatever, you kno' how it is when ya’ll argue," he said.
"I guess you right. Well if you talk to him before me, tell him don't forget my appointment today at 2:30," I said.
We get to find out the babies’ sex today and the official due date. If Legacy isn't at this appointment, I will kick his ass.
"Aight, I’ma stop by the traps in a few so I’ll let him know," he said.
"Ok, thanks Luke. I gotta get ready for class, I’ll talk to you later," I replied.
"Be careful out there, love you cuz." he said.
"Love you too...later."
I ended the call and made my way to the shower. I got three classes before my appointment today, I just hope Legacy makes it to be at my side.
I was sleepin' good as hell wrapped in Legacy's arms like I felt so comfortable. I usually don't sleep with a guy on the first night, but there was just something so attractive about Legacy that just made me melt. After we left the club, he brought me back to his spot and we did things that would make the Pope himself blush. I wasn't ashamed though because we both satisfied each other in many ways.
I raised up and grabbed my phone from the nightstand to check the time. It was 11:30am and I had to be at school in a few hours. I slipped out of Legacy's arms and eased out of the bed so I could get dressed when someone knocked at the door. I glanced back at Legacy and he was still sleeping, I really hated to wake him up but he needed to answer his door.
"Legacy, Legacy wake up," I whispered in his ear.
"Khy chill ma, I’m tired as fuck." he groaned turning over.
I don't know who this Khy chick is, but if I had to guess then I’m going to say she's his girlfriend. I just hope he knows that when he opens his eyes that he won't be seeing her.
"Legacy someone's at your do-"
"Yo, who the fuck is you?"
I turn around to be met by a tall 6'0", brown skin, athletic frame. He had tattoos covering his arms and neck, light brown eyes, long neat dreads that hung just below his shoulders. His eyes scanned my half naked body before connecting with my eyes. Yo who the fuck is this dude?
"Aye ma, you gon' answer a nigga or not? Who the fuck is you and why you standin' over my brother like that?"
I come to the trap house on the west looking for Legacy; I walk in this bitch to find some half naked chick standin' over him while he knocked out sleep, I mean I hope this nigga sleep 'cause if this bitch did anything to my brother I’ma blow her damn head off. I don't give no fucks how fine this bitch is, let somethin' be fucked up wit' my brother. She stood there starin' at me like she was ready to take a nigga down or some shit; she can stare 'til her damn eyes fall out, but if this bitch don't speak up then I’m just gon' tie her ass up and let Lexi fuck her ass up.
"I’m uhh a friend of Legacy's and-"
"Yo what the fuck goin' on in here? Who is she?" Marco walked in wit' the others behind him.
"What's yo name lil mama?" Rook asked.
"It's Kiari. I think I better go, can one of you tell Legacy that I’ll call him later or...you know what never mind." She said grabbin' her stuff.
She walked toward the door so I stepped aside to let her out, then motioned for Marco and the others to go somewhere while I handle Legacy. I'm already knowin' his ass fucked shawty which means more drama in my lil cousin life if she finds out. I walked over to the bed and hit his foot wakin' him up. I could tell he had gotten faded last night 'cause his eyes was red as fuck and he looked hungover.
"Luke, what the fuck bruh! It's too early for this shit," he groaned.
"I personally don't give a fuck how early it is. You got my pregnant cousin callin' 'round lookin' for you and yo' dumbass laid up wit' some bitch that you ain't never met befo'. What kinda shit is that bruh?" I asked.
"I fucked up bruh. Nigga was drunk and-"
"That ain't no fuckin' excuse Legz. Yo ass 26 almost 27 years old, you been drinkin' and smokin' since you were 15 so you kno' how to hold ya liquor nigga. Yo ass brought that bitch back here and fucked her 'cause you wanted to," I said.
Legacy can use this 'I was drunk' excuse all the fuck he wants, but he knew exactly what the fuck he was doing. Khy find out about this shit she gon' kill his ass no question asked.
"Khyia gon' kill me bruh. I keep fuckin' up, I tol' her that I wouldn't cheat on her and I do some shit like this," he sighed.
"Seem like you been on some other shit since you gain this damn power bruh, like these streets and these bitches more impo-"
"That's bullshit bruh! You know that ain't the case, I mean you talkin' like I can't handle this life and be there for Khyia!" He yelled.
"That's how you make it seem nigga! You doin' the same shit Killa did wit' Queen and lettin' this life come befo' what's important which is Khy and unborn," I said.
"Like yo ass can talk! Must forgot you did the same shit wit' Courtnei when she was pregnant that's why she left yo ass," He said.
"You just better hope Khy don't find out 'bout this shit and leave yo ass. Ever since you got this power you been trippin'...these streets gon' ruin yo fuckin' life." I said as I pushed past him.
I walked out the trap and hopped in my car then pulled out the driveway. Legacy better know what the fuck he doin' wit' this street life, if not he gon' watch everything he gained burn down in a pit of flames.
I pulled up in my driveway and got out locking the doors. I walked up the driveway to the door, unlocked it, and walked inside to an uncomfortable quietness. I knew Khy was still at school or at least on her way back. She gon' be pissed 'cause a nigga ain't come home last night, and I know she was worried. I walked in the kitchen, grabbed a powerade from the freezer, then twisted the cap off and drank it as I thought about last night.
A nigga never should've brought that chick home from the club, let alone smashed shawty. Now I gotta deal wit' this shit on my conscience and try my best to keep it from Khy. She already thinks I’m fuckin' every bitch that call or text my phone. If she finds out 'bout this, I can kiss her and my kids goodbye. Smh I heard the front door open, so I walked out the kitchen seein' Khy walk in the house. She looked tired and kinda stressed, I guess school and the pregnancy takin' a toll on her.
She put her keys on the table by the door then headed toward the stairs. She ain't even look my way or nothin', she just headed up to the bedroom, what the fuck?
"So you just gon' walk past like you ain't see me?" he walked in.
"I saw you, but I chose not to acknowledge you. The same way you chose not to come home last night." I replied calmly.
Damn right I walked past his ass like he wasn't there, fuck him right now. I had a long day at school and all I wanna do is shower and change for my appointment.
"Khy I’m so-"
"Save your apology Legacy 'cause I clearly don't need it," I said.
"Baby just-"
"No, I don't want to hear it ok. The only thing I need to hear is the shower running and you gettin' in it so we can get to this appointment to-"
"What appointment?" he asked.
I swear I snapped my neck around so quick, I thought I caught whiplash. I know damn well this nigga didn't forget my appointment today, I just know he didn't.
"I have an appointment today. An appointment that I have been remindin' you about for the past two weeks for us to find out the sex of our babies," I said.
"Fuck! Khyia, I forgo-"
"You serious right now Legacy! You seriously gon' stand here and tell me you forgot about this appointment? Just like you supposedly forgot about the last three appointments. The same way you forgot my fuckin' birthday a week ago, the same way you forgot to come home last night! Really Legacy really!" I yelled.
"Baby, I’m sorry I swear. Just calm down, I’ll get dressed and come-"
"Don't you dare tell me to calm down. I have every reason to be upset, every time I turn around there's a new excuse and quite frankly I’m sick of it. You were probably out wit' some bitch that made yo ass 'randomly forget' the important shit. I swear I’m gettin' fed up wit' yo shit, on my kids I am," I said.
"Man there you go wit' that shit it wasn't even-"
"Boy shut yo lyin' ass up! I know you like the back of my fuckin' hand, wit'cha dumb ass," I said.
"What the fuck that supposed to mean? You don't know shit," he said.
"We been together almost fourteen years, I know when yo' dumb ass lyin'. You can't even look me in the eye and tell me you wasn't wit' another bitch last night. It's all in ya fuckin' grill nigga, I just hope the bitch was worth it," I replied.
I walked past him heading toward the door, but grabbed my arm pulling me close to him. I knew what he was tryin' to do, but it wasn't goin' to work...not this time.
"Khyia stop doin' this shit ma. Why we always gotta be at war wit' each other?" he asked.
"Stop givin' me a reason to be on the front lines for battle then we wouldn't be at war. All I ask is that you be honest wit' me and be here when I need you. Since you got this lil position of power you can't even do that. It's startin' to feel like my dad and-"
"Don't say that shit Khy. I ain't nothin' like Killa and what we goin' through damn sho' ain't shit like how he did his shit so miss me wit' all that," he pulled away.
"Why the fuck would you get so mad if it ain't true?"
"Why you always gotta hold the shit that he did as a father against me? I ain't ya daddy Khy, I’m ya man-"
"Then act like it. Stop makin' me feel unwanted and unappreciated when I was the one there since day one." I said.
"How I make you feel unwanted and unappreciated when I provide you wit' everything you could want or need. We live in this big ass house, you got the newest cars on the lot all paid for. Every designer shoe, bag, clothin', and all but you still ain't satisfied. What the fuck more could you want or need?" he asked.
"If you think all of this materialistic shit is enough to keep me satisfied then you clearly don't know the girl you've claimed to love for the past thirteen years," I replied.
