I shook my head.

Tats suddenly stopped midway packing. “That’s the first time you refused the beaches of Florida.”

“I’m going to the Maldives…” I paused for a moment and then her eyes went wide as she gazed up at me. “…with Reeve.”

She slowly sat beside me with an intense scrutinizing look.

“Shut up.” I prevented her from talking.

“Oh. My. God.” Tats giggled with excitement with her hand clasped over her mouth. “You?”

“Yes,” I confirmed.

“Him?”

“Yes.”

We have funny ways of communicating that only the two of us get.

She screamed and started jumping up and down on her bed. She hugged me tight. “I know you really like him, Agata. I am happy for you.”

“I couldn’t be happier, Tats.” I felt a few tears of joy escape my eyes.

She broke the hug when a thought crossed her mind. “By the way, Mikael was here earlier. I told him about the suspension. I think he went straight to your parents’ house when he found out you’re not here.”

“Finally he showed up.”

“He looked wary. It seemed like something was bothering him.”

“I’ll go find out. I will go to my parents’ house anyway; I’ll tell them I’ll go on a vacation with you, yes?”

“Why don’t you just tell them you’re going on a one week vacation in one of the most exotic and romantic destinations in the world for some undisturbed intimacy with your…dean.”

My brows pulled in the middle.

“Yeah, that doesn’t sound good. So you’re in Florida with me. Got it.”

“You know Dad, he’ll tell me you were just heading there but we, we are through with that. I just don’t want to add any more stress.”

“Fine, I understand. So enjoy your romantic getaway and just have fun. You deserve that.” She brushed my cheek and pulled me in a tight embrace.

“I love you, Tats.”

“Love you too, Gats.”

I rode a cab and headed to my parents’ house.

I found Dad fixing his car in our garage.

“Hey, Dad,” I called him

“Agata, what are you doing here?” he asked with his head still under the car hood.

“To get some clothes.” I was fidgeting my fingers, trying to formulate my sentence. “Dad, can I go on a week vacation with Tats in Florida? I’ll be back here and spend Thanksgiving with you guys.” I could feel my heart beating faster against my chest while my breath stuck in my throat.

“How about your studies?” he raised an eyebrow.

“We were given an early vacation.”

“Your new dean must’ve been so nice to do that.” He took his head out and grabbed a towel.

“Yeah, he’s really nice. He’s very understanding and considerate.”
Hot, sexy, gorgeous and delicious, passionate and rou—

“Agata?”

“Yes, Dad?” I snapped out of my trance.

“I said it’s true about your new dean.”

“What’s true about Dean Gates?” I felt my cheeks heated.

“That he’s nice.”

“Oh yeah, he is. Definitely.” I smiled and bobbed my head like a loon.

“Be sure to be back before Thanksgiving.”

I breathed out a sigh of relief. “Thank you, Dad.” I felt happy but guilty at the same time. For sure I lied several times about Mikael and how I enjoyed biology but this time it was different. I’ll make it up to him some other time.

“I’ll just go get my suitcase. Where’s mom?”

“She’s in the garden watering her plants.”

“How about Mikael?”

“He’s inside. Do me a favor and talk to him. He looked kind of distressed and worried about something.”

“I will, Dad.”

I went inside the house and saw Mikael strumming his guitar.

“Hey.”

“Do not go on a vacation with him,” he immediately told me even before I sat down on the couch beside him.

“What?” I asked him, surprised.

“I know that you’re going on a vacation with Reeve to the Maldives.” He stopped playing his guitar and stood in front of me.

“Who told you that? How did you know?”

“It doesn’t matter. Agata, you don’t know what you got yourself into. Stay away from him ’cause if something happens to you I swear I’m gonna kill him.”

“What are you talking about?” I growled and gritted my teeth to prevent making any noise.

“Just stay away from him. There are a lot of guys out there.”

“He’s not just some other guy.”

“I know guys like him, Agata. He will just hurt you.” He grabbed both of my shoulders and stared directly in my eyes.

“I know better, Mik, don’t worry about me. I appreciate the concern, though.” I hugged my twin brother but he quickly pulled back.

“You don’t understand. You should stay away from Reeve. I don’t trust him. He might be a saint in your eyes right now, but he will eventually hurt you. Like literally and physically hurt you.”

“Where did you get all this, huh? How could you be so judgmental when you don’t even know him?”

“Rogue told me everything about him,” he said and his eyes darted toward the floor.

“You know Rogue?”

“Y-yeah, she’s a…close friend of mine,” he mumbled in reply, his head jerking up.

“I’m sure she’ll talk nothing but good stuff about her brother. She loves him so much. I met her once before and I witnessed how they love each other. So, please, Mik. Reeve and I are just starting; do not ruin it.”

“I care for you, Agata. You’re my only sister. I want you to be happy. I just can’t stand the thought that you might—”

“I am happy, Mik.” I pulled him close to me and hugged him tight. “I’ve never been so happy in a relationship.”

Chapter XIII

Maldives

After almost twenty-two hours of flight, we finally arrived at the Maldives airport. We were welcomed by Kent’s Resort and Spa staff and led to an impressive speedboat at the quayside for a quick transfer to the resort, set on a private island a world apart, across turquoise water, passing little islands and leaping dolphins on the way.

Thirty minutes later we arrived and were greeted by another team of happy, smiling staff who all seemed to know our names.

I looked out in amazement at the view of the breathtaking landscape. The resort created an organic romantic atmosphere not just from being out on a private island in the Indian Ocean, but from exploring a lush environment I have never seen before. It was quiet, exotic, with arrays of luxurious over-water villas with a perfect distance to the other villas which left space for privacy.

“Wow, it looks even more beautiful than in pictures,” I commented, dazzled by the surreal environment.

“It’s gorgeous,” said Reeve, smiling at me from ear to ear, an arm draped over my shoulders.

“Thank you, Reeve. This place is breathtaking…” I sighed, as I rested my head on his shoulder.

“And so are you, sunshine…” He whispered lowly enough in my ear to send shivers across my body. His voice, his words, they always reached me when nothing else could. He leaned over and lightly kissed the skin beneath my ear.

My heart beat a little faster not only because of the nickname but the conviction with which he said it. In some ways having Reeve by my side still didn’t seem real.

“You have to pick a nickname for me right this moment?” I giggled up at him.

“I want to call you sunshine, ’cause you brought me sunshine when I only saw rain.”

I stopped walking for a minute and my heart raced as I turned around to face him.

Gently he pressed a kiss against my lips. He took his shades off, and those eyes…I would never get tired of staring at them. He pulled me into a tight hug and kissed the top of my head. “Let’s check in.”

I looked down when he linked our fingers together and looked back up at him. He removed his shades again, searing me with those damn eyes. Those blue eyes sparkled in the sunlight. And those lips…those lips were doing dirty things to my insides.

I was drowning in feels. I thought I was falling in love with this man. He’s the thought that made me smile and the rhythm that made my heart beat. Sometimes, I wondered if what we had is too good to be true; but I was scared to get my heart broken, and even more scared at the thought of losing him. I’ve had the experience of being in relationships before, however, this is the first time I’ve been truly happy.

“Oh my…” I clutched Reeve’s arm as we reached our villa.

The lovely villas that seemed to float on the water provided a beautiful view to the crystal blue water and magical corals beneath. It was a haven out in the Indian Ocean, and I loved the feeling as if we had all the time in the world together.

The water villa was constructed of natural materials, and housed a luxurious interior with modern amenities, including tasteful wood furniture, stone floors, rattan blinds, a giant plasma TV, and Wi-Fi access. The bathroom had a huge tub, a walk-in shower, and pile of fluffy towels and toiletries. The deluxe over-water villa where we stayed had a private terrace for supreme lounging as we gazed out at the infinite Indian Ocean, and a stairway that begged us to step into water.

As we descended into the entrancing depths of the waters, a magnificent underwater city of vibrantly hued coral and aquatic inhabitants materialized in front of our eyes.

It was hard to imagine life back on earth when I could sleep in an ocean hammock.

“Do you like it?” asked Reeve, coming behind me and circling my waist with his arms.

“It’s beautiful. I can stare at this view all day,” I said nodding excitedly.

“I am so exhausted sitting from that twenty-two hour flight,” Reeve said while nuzzling his face against my nape.

“Me too.” I turned in his arms, sliding my hands around his neck. “Let’s enjoy the ocean view, pig-out at the buffet and make love, but for a while let’s go to sleep.”

We shared a nice hot but chaste shower together, slipped in comfy clothes and I immediately collapsed on the king sized bed covered in some of the most expensive satin white sheets. I would have loved to take a quick nap as the sun started to sink lower into the sky, smattering clouds in glowing bright and red-orange.

If only I could sleep, but the view of Reeve sitting on the lounge chair after he took a shower, his erection pressing against his boxers made it impossible for me to sleep.

I nestled on his lap and Reeve wrapped his arms around me, and we sat for a moment holding each other, just enjoying the view.

He grinned and pulled my chin up. His mouth touched my lips gently at first then his tongue poked and slipped inside my mouth. I put my hands around his head and tilted my head to deepen the kiss.

Reeve snaked his right hand under my blouse and began to fondle one of my breasts. The nipple was already hard, and he gently rubbed it between his fingers.

“We’re outside. We shouldn’t be…”

“I don’t care.” His mouth slanted over me, ceasing all arguments. He dragged his hand over the firm mound, across my other breast, and fondled it the same way.

The sun was now hanging just over the water, mere minutes from disappearing.

I was so wet, so hot, so ready for him and the view of the sky changing color from purplish to pinkish to orangey with the majestic crystal clear water beneath us made me hornier than ever. It was as if we were living in a painting, created solely for this moment.

He lifted my blouse and appreciatively gazed at my breasts spilling out of my lacy black bra. What I saw in Reeve’s eyes aroused me more than anything else. Desire. Passion. Need. He wanted me as badly as I wanted him. I blushed, slightly embarrassed to have him scrutinize me while I was so exposed. He smiled at my embarrassment and bent down to kiss my lips. He leaned down and ran his tongue on the crook of my neck, sucking and leaving hickeys. I moaned, my hands drifting at his back, pulling him harder against me. His skillful tongue ran down my cleavage, his hand unclasped my bra while the other squeezing my ass. My body tensed when his tongue circled my nipple.

“Relax,” he whispered as he started licking and sucking my breast like a hungry baby.

He slowly put his hand on my leg going up, letting his fingers linger as they got near the insides of my thighs. As he did so, my whole body tensed up and my hands were gripping on his shoulders for dear life.

“Reeve, wait.” I stopped him mid-stride. “We can’t.”

“Hmm? Why the devil can’t we?” he asked sharply. I looked at him, surprised.

“I have my period,” I whispered, anxious that I might disappoint him. This was a point where I just wanted to curse my period.

He turned his head to the side in order to meet my gaze. For a split second, his blue eyes seemed to melt and mine did as well. The background only complimented his features. His tan skin and slick dark brown hair contrasted perfectly with the sea of orange that was washed across the sky.

“Oh, okay…that…that worries me a little,” he said, chuckling lightly. He leaned down and kissed me softly on the lips. “We’ll figure something out.”

“I figured something.” I smiled at him shyly. My face was beet red. I rose from his lap and knelt down between his legs. I pulled his pants down, freeing his erection. I wanted to turn his disappointment to pleasure.

I started to trace circles around him with my tongue. I sucked hard on it, swallowing him whole. Reeve closed his eyes and pulled his head back, completely lost in pleasure, as he roughly caressed my hair. I brought him as far back in my mouth as I could, sucking hard, and moving my tongue around. This was a lot harder than I thought it would be, but Reeve moaned above me, so I must have been doing something right.

“Fuck…” he moaned.

My tongue gave a long, wet, warm lick across his throbbing shaft from the balls to the head. He had to admit, I was talented.

He looked down with his glossy eyes and open mouth. I was kneeling down in front of him, worshiping his love rod on my knees, and tasting all of his pre-cum. His free hand caressed my cheek, smiling down at me. He directed my face back to his length and I continued sucking and licking. His groans were getting louder and his breathing became more desperate. The throbbing between my legs was becoming too hard to bear. I just wanted him inside of me, pumping inside of me, easing this feeling and bringing me to bask in the ecstasy that only Reeve seemed to be able to bring.

The sun was now a tiny line of yellow above the sea and I was giving my boyfriend a blow job over the jade and sapphire-hued ocean. Seriously, it was mind-blowing.

“Agata…I’m going to come soon.” His eyes were half closed with one hand holding a handful of my hair. He was practically fucking my mouth and panting above me.

The sun was down now. The wind had picked up slightly, rustling the palm trees. The breeze was warm, gentle, and balmy, and the waves rolled gently.

I continued to bob my head up and down as he started spurting in my mouth. Swearing, his face flushed at his orgasm. He leaned back against the lounge chair, panting heavily.

“You’re good,” Reeve whispered between breaths. He pulled me up from my knees and I fell back on his lap and leaned against his chest blissfully.

The sky was finally dark. We sat for hours in the blackness of the night. For some reason, the night in Maldives felt especially lovely. The moon made an appearance. The stars gleamed brightly. Even the beach glistened in dots of light caused by planktons that react to changes in water tension and to acidity by giving off light.

We chatted, and fiddled and then we gazed quietly. He brought his arms tightly around my body. That was all I needed.

***

The sound of lapping water woke me the next morning. The light of the morning sun dawned over the array of over-water villas. I pulled myself up, lifting a hand to my temple as my eyes adjusted to the bright light. I woke up from a restful night, stretching myself, realizing I was actually lying in bed and not in the lounge chair where I had fallen asleep last night.

“Morning, sunshine.”

Reeve stepped through the door, clad in low hanging shorts and a plain white sando hugging his well-sculpted body.

“Morning.” I turned my head, greeting him with a dazzling smile. “So, what do you have planned for today?”

He sat on the edge of the bed and handed me a two-piece and a wetsuit.

“Put it on after breakfast.”

“Wait a minute.”

“We’re going to be quite a few feet underwater and it gets a bit chilly down there. You’re gonna need that.” He winked at me.

“We’re going to dive?”

“Yes, sunshine.” He cupped my cheeks. “That’s why we need to hurry.”

I took a quick shower and was putting on the white two-piece when he walked in. I quickly covered my naked body with my hands, feeling awkwardly bared to him.

He laughed and slowly walked to me, removing my hands covering my nakedness. “As if I haven’t seen those already.”

His eyes moved up and down my body and were drawn to my breasts. His gaze lingered longingly, then moved downward over my stomach down to my sex. He gulped audibly, before his gaze traveled up my body and to my eyes.

“Agata, you are beautiful.”

I blushed both at his stare and at the compliment

His hands bracketed my hips. My face grew red as I noticed he was growing hard. He whispered, “Do you feel that, Agata? That’s what you do to me. Every. Single. Time. You’re making me hard. A few strokes and I know I would cum for you.”

I could definitely feel it and it felt damn good.

His face was just inches away from me; his breathing was ragged as he labored under his slipping restraint not to touch me. “All of this delayed gratification is driving me insane.” He moved his hands to squeeze my ass, as if his words weren’t enough to make my whole being shiver. He leaned and kissed me very gently at the corner of my mouth. “Get dressed; we’re having our breakfast.”

There was an exclusive restaurant built over water, serving a variety of food and exotic dishes where we took our quick brunch, for it was nearly 11:00 A.M. All meals were served buffet style from American, European, Asian, and Maldivian dishes. Tiled floors and full glass windows created a light airy atmosphere. The cushioned rattan furniture provided comfortable seating.

After our meal, we headed for the diving spot.

I stood next to a pile of diving gear. The dive instructor was sorting through everything, checking the equipment. The late morning sun was stroking my neck and arms. It was just Reeve and me, waiting for the diving party to begin. The sea was a shimmering mosaic of turquoise and sapphire. The sky was a crisp ice blue. It was a gorgeous day.
