Once in the bathroom, she sat on the toilet seat waiting for her thudding heart to slow. She was surprised her wobbly feet had cooperated with her. With her composure back, she looked herself in the mirror. Her mascara was smudged; her lips were now devoid of color. They looked swollen and dry. Her hair was a tousled mess. Paka would have playfully called her a whore. This was crazy.

The events of the day were taking their toll on her. Paka was so tired. She ran water in the sink, washed her face, took a cloth and wiped between her thighs.

Didac almost followed her when he realized how long she had been in the bathroom and when the door opened, and a naked Vivian emerged without the paintings on her face. She slipped under the blankets which Didac held open for her, and they just looked at each other with the blanket under their chins. Vivian’s expressive questioning eyes pierced him. Didac didn’t want to break anything so fragile by talking, so he pulled her to him, his warm lips touching her eyelids trailing down her nose and cheeks. He laid her head on his chest. At first, she just lay there stiff, but within seconds she threw her leg over his, and her arm across his stomach and her lips grazed his chest.

Vivian lay there quietly willing herself to fall asleep, but her thoughts were bombarding her mind. She couldn’t help but wonder what he was thinking. He seemed so calm and deliberate in shredding down her defenses with accuracy, not wasting any single movement that made her question how many women he has been with. She found herself wanting to know the answer to that question more than anything.

Didac touched her mind craving to know her thoughts. In a multitude of women he had ever been with, Vivian was the only one who reached places in him that no other woman had taped in.
Because she was meant to be hers and he hers
. ”I am not proud of what I have done, but I am not ashamed of it either. It is a terrible existence for any man to be alone for a long time.”

“Exactly how old are you? ” Vivian didn’t seem aware that she hadn’t even asked the question out loud.

“Four  hundred years.”

“Damn you are old,” Vivian answered weakly.

Didac felt her smile on her chest as she drifted off to sleep and it wasn’t long after that he followed.

Didac awakened at night by Vivian rubbing her ass against his wood.  A groan emerged from her and then silence. She was still asleep.

He watched the back of her head for almost an hour debating on how to handle his steel hard cock. Before he could stop himself, he reached out and rubbed her shoulder down to her arm and covered his large hand over her breast. Her breasts were perfect. They fit in his hand just like they were made for him. There was rustling as Vivian struggled to turn her body to face him, the quickness of the action alerting Didac that Vivian was now awake. Didac detained her movements as he pulled her closer and moved his groin firmly against her ass. Her growing moans encouraged him. He licked her earlobe and neck, and she writhed her ass frantically on his cock.

He pushed her down on her stomach and came up on his knees. He placed small bites on her butt cheeks. Her ass came off the bed pointing to his face. He buried his face between her ass cheeks and licked her. Vivian tried to pull away, ashamed, but Didac held her firmly.

“I have never done that before.” Vivian panted.

“ I will worship your body like no man has ever done before.”

“Oh, god yes.”  Vivian cried out when Didac rubbed her virgin hole. She had never felt comfortable enough to allow such an invasion before. It felt uncomfortably good.

Not long after, the uncomfortable sensation was replaced by an overwhelming arousal that reached her toes. She relaxed her hole, pushing against Didac's finger, encouraging him to put his finger.

“Do it, please.”

Didac finger was replaced by his tongue, and he rimmed his tongue into her ass. Her cries became louder. He replaced his tongue with two fingers, opening her up gently. She stilled and after a few gentle thrusts, she moved against his fingers.

Didac refused to give her time to think and replaced his fingers with his cock head. He nudged it slowly into her hole. She was really tight. She inhaled sharply, and Didac stopped. He started a series of shallow thrusts and reached out in front and rubbed her clit. She moaned and pushed against him. His dick slid deeper into her.

“Deeper.” Vivian’s echoed breathlessly.

Didac thrust to the hilt. She screamed and moaned simultaneously. He pulled halfway out and rammed into her again. He knew he was rough, but he couldn’t help himself. Being buried in her ass was one of the greatest sensations he had ever felt.

Vivian felt the pain, but it was a good kind of pain. ”That feels so good.” She whimpered into his mouth as she turned her head to mash their lips together.

Didac continued rubbing her clit. Her orgasm hit her as he moved uncontrollably. Didac held her tightly chest to back and kept ramming home. Faster and deeper. His cock swelled, and he spilled his seed violently into her vibrating ass. Vivian felt him get off her as he pulled her close. Vivian didn’t object. She cuddled against him half asleep than awake. They drifted back to sleep together, content.

Chapter 9

Basara’s eyes quickly shot to Didac’s leg perched on the armrest of the chair he was sitting on, his surprise registering on his face. It was not kingly. Others in the room noticed and smiled behind Didac’s back at Basara’s expression.

“Your Majesty, I have all the evidence you requested with me.” Andrzej Basara addressed the King, handing over the file he had tugged to his chest like a baby.

“I would see it please?” Didac put his hand out to take the file. “You advised me that you have suspicions that they might be other people of importance involved in this plan.”

“Yes, Your Majesty, I have reviewed the video feeds from Abramo Agusti home thoroughly, but I cannot seem to identify who the other individuals were.”

“I will have Agostino and his team look at the files to check if you might have missed some relevant information that can aid us in apprehending all the individuals involved.” Didac signaled for Bernat and gave him the file.

Basara’s eyes followed the file with his eyes. Didac raised his eyebrows questioningly. ”Your Majesty, you have to understand I spent a better part of my time gathering the information. If the file were to land in the wrong hands, my life would be in danger.”

“The people you see in this room will be the only ones privy to the information. Rest assured that your name would not be compromised when we are conducting our own investigation.”

“With all due respect, I would advise against questioning these people; they will be conscious that it was me who gave out their names. If there are any additional questions you have, please let me know and I will inquire after them.”

“Very well then, we will keep you informed then. If it’s any consolation to you, you can move into the castle where you will be guarded day and night until everything settles down.” Didac offered.

“Thank you for your generous offer, Your Majesty. I love my independence too much.” Basara’s lips curved into a smile.

“You can leave now,” Didac instructed Basara.

*****

Vivian woke up with a start. Memories of last night exploded in her head. She didn’t want to analyze too much into last night. Her happiness had ceased to exist when her childhood was suddenly stolen away by the cruelty of her father. But today she was happy, the happiest as far as she could remember. She realized that could change in a heartbeat, but if Didac was so cruel, he wouldn’t have cared about her feelings. She stretched her used muscles and got out of the bed to get ready for the day.

She took extra care with her looks before she headed to look for her new husband. She passed by Paka’s room first. When the automatic door to Paka’s room opened, Vivian slithered her body against it from the inside with her hands spread like a bird when it closed.

Paka’s smile broadened.” Was it good?”

“OH, Paka, I think I have been shot by cupid.”

“Dish it out! Did cupid’s arrow hurt?”

“No, it didn’t.” Vivian sighed dreamingly and jumped around the room. ”It felt flipping fantastic.”

“Who is this Cupid?”

Annais voice startled Vivian. Her cheeks flushed in abashment. It was so unethical to discuss sex matters with your husband's sister. Then she sobered when she realized that Annais probably didn’t understand

“She is the Roman god of love,” Vivian answered her.

“Yes, I have had the opportunity to study about Roman humans and their gods. Cupid, though considered immoral by some is said to represent an animal instinct to mate. A sexless mating has no appeal. For a man, it is the deepest way they show and receive love.”

Vivian cleared her throat uncomfortably.” This is unsettling, Annais. I cannot discuss my sex life with you. You are my sister in law.”

Annais cringed. ”I was general, but I do not want to know the details. Just the thought of my brother having sex makes me nauseous.”

“Not me. I want to know everything. Including how Didac looks like  without his clothes on.” Paka mischievously put in.

“This is my cue to leave.” Annais hastily walked to the door.

Vivian followed her and stopped her with a hand on her shoulder. ”I am not going to tell Paka anything. Stay, I just wanted to see if Paka was alright. I was going to see Didac in the control room.”

“Come on, if you cannot tell your sister, who are you going to tell. Is he working it?”

Vivian smile blossomed. ”Okay, since you want to know, this as far as I am going to go ok. Like I have never been worked before.”

Paka squealed, and Annais covered her ears. ”I am going to be deaf.”

“I was instructed to take you and Paka to the infirmary so you can have your translation guides implanted,” Annais advised both women.

“What do you mean?” Paka asked.

“Esteve, my brother is the doctor and the scientist of the family. He will put a chip behind your ear so you will be capable of understanding all the languages known to men and alien including our language as well.”

“Now it all makes sense,” Vivian commented. Last night at the dining table, Vivian had noticed that they spoke English only for the conversations they wanted to include her, Paka and Michael in only. “Is it dangerous?”

“Very.”

“OMG. Can’t I learn the languages in a traditional way? I mean----“ Vivian stopped when she noticed the smile on Annais face. ”Are you joking?”

“Absolutely.”

“That was not funny,” Paka complained.

Annais rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders in defeat. ”That’s why I never attempt my hand at humor. It never works.”

“Alright!”  Paka wobbled her head. ”Show the way, sister. I have always wanted to be multi-lingual.” Both Vivian and Annais smiled as the three women headed to the control room.

Annais decided she liked their auras and them.

*****

On his way out, Basara bumped into a bundle with a womanly fragrance. Basara held it by the shoulders to steady it and inhaled. Damn, she smelled good. He stammered when he recognized the woman as the King’s mate. ”Your Highness, I apologize for my clumsiness.”

Didac’s glare caused him to drop his hands like Vivian was on fire.

”No need to apologize.” Vivian beamed at him, as she looked up at him. Her hand still lay in his arms to steady herself when she had bumped into him. She was feeling so optimistic after last night. Nothing could spoil her mood. ”Were we introduced last night? I am not good with names.”

“My name is Andrzej Basara, Your Highness.”

“Well, a pleasure to meet you then. You can call me Vivian.” Vivian stepped away from him and stretched out her hand for a handshake. When Basara didn’t take it, she dropped it.

“That is not permitted, Your Highness.”

“Vivian! Leave the man alone. “

Vivian looked at the direction of the voice that she had been longing to hear all morning. Her pleasure at seeing him warmed her cheeks. ”Oh, there you are.” She walked towards Didac unaware of the eyes watching her. ”I have been looking all over for you.” She took the initiative of sitting on his lap and touched her lips to his in her excitement. ”I wanted to talk to you. I was hoping that we could spend a little time together.”

Someone cleared their throat. Vivian stretched herself on Didac’s lap to look over his shoulder and blushed deeper when she realized how many other people were in the room. She recognized Agostino immediately. Surely a Queen did not sit on the King’s lap in public.

Before she leaped out of his lap, Didac pushed her off. Basara sniffing her was not her fault, but he didn’t have to like it. ”Not now Vivian, I am busy.”

“Maybe later?”  Vivian continued without noticing the tension in the room; her shy smile hopeful. She imagined that that was a lot that needed to be done after the war.

“If I say I am busy, just give me time to do whatever I need to do. I have a lot of things to take care of, and I don’t need you to tell me you need to talk right now.” Didac said it a bit more harshly than he intended. He was physically and mentally exhausted. His mental psyche was bothered. Even if the war with Mother Earth had ended, there was still a lot that needed to be done. He had no time to entertain the fleeting demands of his mate.

Shame filled the room. The voice in the back of her head knew that the way he spoke to her was wrong on so many levels. She was supposed to be his Queen, for his people to respect her it had to start with him. Those little voices in her head were her guardian angels when it came to dealing with her emotional, verbal and physically abusive father. They were never wrong. ”What did you just say?” This was humiliating. At that moment, visions of her father charged her mind. Her father took pleasure in humiliating her mother in public. Her mother smiled and pretended that everything was okay, but that was not going to be her. Her pain almost sent everybody in the room on to their knees.” You discredit me by speaking to me in that tone.”

“No one is discrediting you.”

“You are right; I discredited myself by agreeing to whatever you guys call it mating with you. All I want is the respect that you promised me when we made our vows.”

“You mated well. I am the most powerful man in the solar system.”

“I could have married someone else, and it would have been a proper mating. So I wouldn’t have to listen to the sound of your voice giving out orders.”

Didac immediately regretted his choice of words.” I’m sorry Vivian; I didn’t mean to talk to you like that." Didac tried to repair the damage. "It’s just that so much had happened and it’s too much for me to handle right now. You don’t know how it -."

“-Feels.” Vivian finished for him. ”You are right, I might have no idea on what it's like to be King, but I don’t take out my frustrations on other people.”

She humphed ”And you think nothing has happened to me? How do you think I feel right now? Just because you are going through some things does not give you a reason to disrespect me."

Didac tried to touch her. ”Don’t you dare touch me.” She warned and looked to Agusti. ”Agostino move my things to different quarters.”

“You are staying in my quarters.” Didac barked out as if issuing an order.

“Is that order, Your Majesty?”

Didac knew when he was being mocked. “An order from the King is as good as a command.”

“Really, what would you rather be? My King or my husband?”

“I want to be your husband, but I am also the King.”

“You have to learn to separate the two. You cannot treat me the way you treat your subjects.”

“It is my birthright, deal with it.”

“Is that all you care about?”

“Have some dignity. There is a limit to what I will hear from you.”

Vivian's face fell. ”It is apparent that I lost my dignity the minute I married you.” She wanted him to admit he was wrong and apologize. To show a little bit remorse. And she gave him the opportunity to do so.” I don’t think you meant to hurt me. I have seen and felt the tender and gentle way you have talked and touched me.”

Treating one’s wife was a thing some man needed to be taught, but at the same token, the man had to be willing to compromise. Vivian watched him expectedly, and when he didn’t respond, she pursed her lips in disappointment. ”You don’t understand, do you? You know I have nowhere else to go so I will stay here, but I don’t appreciate being spoken to like that. Unless I get a proper apology from you, I will be sleeping in my own quarters.” When she got to the door, she tossed her hair over her shoulder to look at him.” And please do not even attempt to visit them if you know what’s good for you.”

“Don’t be childish. We can remedy the situation.”

“The only recourse we need is for you to realize that I am the only person you don’t have to keep your guard up with. I can be your sanctuary if you would just allow it.” She looked at Agostino and clapped. ”I meant right now as in right now. Not later.” Agostino looked to his King and then Queen and seemed undecided. “Don’t just stand there.” Agostino sauntered towards her. Vivian allowed him to go through the door first and cast daggers at her husband and followed him.

Bernat’ eyes devoured Paka as she stood there at odds as to what do. Finally, her loyalty to her sister won. Since the object of her affection had left the room as well, she didn’t see a need to linger.

“I’m just gonna go ok.” Paka turned to Annais.” Are you coming too?”

Annais hesitated. The young woman hadn’t said anything but Annais empathetic nature understood her question as “we should stick together thing.” She fought with her emotions. As a sister, she was eager to school her brother on how to handle a male or a female, since she was one which her brother failed to recognize sometimes. As a female, she was angry at Didac too. She lifted her chin at her brother and pouted her lips too, and imitated an expression she had heard from Paka. ”Hell Yeah!”

“Bravo Didac, really smooth,” Kugawa said after a pregnant silence.

“Don’t you have anything to do?” Didac counteracted.

“I know Kugawa likes to provoke you, but what she means to say is that you cannot talk to your wife in such a disrespectful way in public, she is your Queen.” Severus gave Kugawa a pointed look.
