Day Two - Monday

“Can you do lunch?”

Matthew called me ten minutes ago, hoping to catch me before I opened up.

“Yeah, Sophie is working today so what time and where?” I lean against the stainless steel counter top in the café kitchen and smile like a teenage girl. Man up Rafe!  It’s only been six hours!

“Well, there’s a little bar around the corner from Rafael’s. I could meet you at the café and we could walk there, about one?”

“Sounds good, see you at one then,” I can’t stop grinning, “I can’t wait!”

I try to get to work but I’m floating on air, Sophie is going to have to pick up the slack today.

“Find a table, I’ll grab the drinks,” Matthew smiles as he takes control and makes his way to the bar. I stop in my tracks for a moment, I’m not used to men taking charge like that. I think I like it.

“So, is today day one?”  I ask on a smile as I watch Matthew sip his second pineapple juice of the hour, “Do you always drink pineapple juice?”

His resulting smile causes my own to spread, we both know what the other is thinking. Matthew empties his glass with a wink and answers my first question.

“Yesterday was day one Rafe. I’m not adding another day to an already torturous amount of time!”

I laugh and finish my Coke,

“Thank god!”

“Here you go guys, two steak salads. Enjoy.”  The waiter places our meals down and Matthew and I both reach for the balsamic vinegar, pausing when our hands touch before breaking out into smiles.

“Are you sure we’re not on day twenty nine?” Matthew asks before casually popping a cherry tomato in his mouth and laughing.

Day Three - Tuesday

Matthew walked me back to Rafael’s after lunch yesterday and said that he had plans last night but could he see me tonight after work. I have training but he said he’d like to come along and who was I to say no? It may be the only opportunity for physical contact that I have with him for a whole month!

He’s away on business from tomorrow morning until the weekend, which is going to be pretty crap to be honest. I can’t bear the thought of going a day without seeing him. Actually though, after only three days of knowing him that’s probably really unhealthy, so maybe him being in Glasgow for a few nights is just what we need.

“Hey, I’m outside.”

I pull up outside the hotel where Matthew is living at the moment and call him to let him know that I’m here. It’s really nice. His business must be doing well if he can afford to live in a hotel like this. He’s in the process of selling his house in Cornwall and hasn’t found anywhere in London yet so he just chose a swanky hotel with a triple figure per night price tag instead!

“I’m on my way babe!”

Babe? He called me babe. A little giggle escapes me and I mentally scold myself for being such a little bitch. If I react to him like that in the gym I’ll never live it down!

“Urgh, I am so out of shape!”

Matthew looks frustrated as he picks up his bag after the training session and I look at him confused. He’s in better shape than some of my fighters.

“What are you talking about? You’re in great shape!” I smile at Matthew as I pick up my bag and head towards the door to the car park.

“No. Not good enough Rafe. I need to get more training in than I am at the moment,” he seems really annoyed and I glance across to look at the sexy stern look he’s had all night, then he smiles, “At least if I come here it’s an excuse to see you though!”

Ugh, I’m done!

“Are you coming in for a coffee? It won’t be as nice as yours but I’d like to have you to myself for a bit given that I won’t see you for a few days.”

Matthew looks expectantly across the car as I park up outside his hotel. I feel like it’s too risky to go up to his room but I don’t have anywhere near enough willpower to say no. It’s just coffee.

The room is gorgeous and bigger than any hotel room I’ve ever seen, but it’s still just a room. I don’t know how he copes with living in one room, having no kitchen or living room and just a kettle. He can’t even make himself toast!

He boils the kettle, peels off his sweaty shirt and throws it into a laundry bag, then joins me sitting on the end of the bed. I feel like I’m seventeen again. I’m nervous and clammy and anxious for him to kiss me, touch me…any damn thing he wants.

“You’re quiet,” Matthew turns so that he is facing me and takes my hand in his. I turn my head but keep my body facing forward.

“Because I’m sitting on a bed with you, I’m already turned on after seeing you rip apart my students and then you walk in here and take your top off!” I raise my eyebrows and smile before looking down at our intertwined hands. “This month is going to be so hard!”

Matthew laughs, “Perfect choice of words Rafe, hard is certainly what this month will be! Don’t forget that it’s killing me too. I want so badly to push you back onto that bed and not let you up for air all night,” I inhale, I want that! “But remember why we agreed to wait baby, we both want to do this right.”

Baby, it’s baby now. I might combust!

Day Four - Wednesday

Matthew flew to Glasgow this morning. He has three days of meetings and networking events and I know that I’m not going to be able to speak to him until at least eleven pm tonight, and that’s if he isn’t too tired. It’s torture to know that I can’t see him, but it’s another day ticked off! Twenty Six to go!

Day Five - Thursday

Matthew was too tired to talk last night. I woke this morning to a text apologising for missing my call and informing me that he woke up at five am, still dressed from the evening before and flopped across the bed. He’d put the kettle on to make a coffee so that he could stay awake to call me but must have fallen asleep before it had even boiled. He promised that he’ll call me at lunchtime and definitely tonight.

Day Six- Friday

Matthew called twice yesterday as promised. We stayed on the phone until three am just taking and laughing. We may be miles apart but we can still make the most of our opportunities to get to know each other. In some ways it’s easier like this, when I can’t see his amazing physique and flawless smile. He’ll be home tonight though, and I can’t wait to see him. It scares me how much I’m craving him, it’s been less than a week and I know that I’m falling for him already.

Day Seven - Saturday

“Bloody hell, I’m coming! Give me a damn chance!”

My postman drives me insane every day. He knows that I live above the café and have to make my way downstairs when there’s a delivery, but he insists on keeping his finger constantly on the buzzer until I get there. I reach the bottom of the stairs and open the door to see a smiling Matthew signing for my package. He leans over to kiss me as he passes back the handheld signature device to the now grimacing postman. I take my parcel on a laugh and the grumbling postie turns to leave.

“What are you doing here so early? I said I’d pick you up, remember!”

Matthew came around to my flat straight from the airport last night. We cooked together and watched a DVD with a bottle of wine. It was tempting to ask him to stay over, but there would have been too many more temptations if he had, so he got a taxi back to his hotel. We are going shopping today and even though I said I would drive, I’m over the moon to see Matthew here at the crack of dawn.

“I just had three days away from you Rafe, I couldn’t stand another minute!”

I smile and we make our way upstairs. I’m only wearing my Family Guy lounge pants and can’t help but burn up as I see the way Matthew looks at my body, the hunger in his eyes is as clear as day.

Day Ten - Tuesday

“Hey Rafe, Where’s Matthew tonight? Are you two doing the do?”

Danny has stayed behind for the sparring class. He enjoyed sparring with Matthew last week and was hoping he’d be back.

“He’s in Belfast; I think he’ll be back. We’re seeing how things go mate. Come on then.”

I climb into the ring and Danny smiles as he follows me in.

“Oh that’s good, you might start going easy on us once you start getting laid regularly!”

Danny laughs and I join him before playfully pushing him back into the ropes.

“Not a chance!”

“Oh bloody hell Rafe! Please put a top on!”

I had just got out of the shower when my tablet rang to alert me to a Skype call. I didn’t want to risk missing the call so just jumped on the bed to answer.

“Just a top?” I quickly flick the camera down and back up to show Matthew that I’m starkers and start to laugh,

“You bastard!” Matthew flushes and shakes his head on a smile. “Game on!”

My screen fills with the image of Matthew’s hotel ceiling for a minute, before a smug and very naked looking Matthew picks up his tablet and raises an eyebrow to me.

“Two can play that game, Alvez!”

We tried to maintain a normal conversation, catching up on the couple of days that we’d missed. But in the breaks in conversations, the sight of each other topless and knowing that there were no clothes below the camera’s view either, became too much.

“Rafe, I can’t look at you like that anymore. It’s fucking killing me!”

Matthew takes a breath that makes his chest rise up before he blows out the air through his ‘O’ shaped lips. I lick my lips as I watch him look away from the screen and then lean in to look at the camera. His eyes are burning up and I know he’s as rock hard below that screen as I am.

“Matthew…”

It’s all I need to say. He lets out a low growl and leans back revealing his whole torso and the slow movement of his forearm as he gives in to what he needs

I gasp and take a moment to just look.  I see Matthew’s eyes become hooded and even close for a few seconds and I set my tablet on the bedside table. Matthew stops and moves to do the same before kneeling on the bed in front of his iPad and showing me everything. His beautiful strong thighs, delicious abs and defined pecs that I already love so much and for the first time, his sensational cock, now in his hand again and being stroked unbearably slowly from root to tip.

Shit, this is really happening!

I take myself in hand as I watch, this is the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen and I honestly never want it to stop.

Matthew reaches his left arm to the side and grips the headboard as he squeezes his eyes closed and pumps his hand faster up and down his shaft. I know he’s close. I watch as his muscles start to tense and feel my own speed pick up. It’s as though I have no control over my own hand. My eyes and my mind are fixed on the screen and the beautiful man performing for me and all I know is that I want us to come together. I’m burning up from head to toe as the intense pleasure surges through me. I’ve never felt like this going solo before, it’s beyond amazing.

My left hand clenches around the duvet beneath me as I try to hold off.

“Rafe…”

That’s all he needs to say and it’s my undoing. I let go and enjoy the most spectacular orgasm that I’ve ever had by my own hand. When I open my eyes, Matthew is lazily stroking out the end of his release, holding the t-shirt that he disposed of earlier over the end of his cock. He’s still kneeling up straight, his eyes are closed and his head tilted back slightly … he’s fucking glorious!

Day Twelve - Thursday

Something shifted after the Skype call. It was no longer Rafe and Matthew taking things slow while they get to know each other, it was pure fucking torture! I knew what I was missing out on now. We both still, for some bloody reason, agreed to stick to the thirty days, but I don’t see how we’re going to make it, I don’t see how I will make it another hour!

Matthew missed my call last night. I tried to call him back but there was no answer. He has one more night in Belfast and then he’s all mine until day twenty five. Shit! That means I’ve got eleven whole days and nights of trying to resist him. All of a sudden I wish he was going away more often.

“Hey big brother, I have Seventeen Again and Knocked Up. What are we watching?”

Rosie and I try to have DVD and wine nights when we can. It’s not as easy since she’s been living with Michael as he doesn’t like her staying over at my flat. I seriously don’t know how I haven’t killed him yet. My little sis knows that I need some company with Matthew being away so she’s made her excuses to come over.

“Ro, neither! Your taste in films gets worse. Fight Club!”

“Rafael, no! Brad is hot granted but I’m not watching Fight Club again!”

“Ok, Inglourious Basterds then. Please I need a proper distraction.” I pout and she smiles.

“Fine. But I want pizza!”

Rosie and I ate pizza, drank wine and watched my new favourite film all by ten thirty pm. We talked over a lot of the film as she insisted on asking about me and Matthew, so much for a distraction!

It is nice to talk about him though. Rosie mentions that we should double date. Even though I suspect deep down she knows that will never happen I don’t have the heart to tell her.

“Who the hell is that? It’s nearly eleven!” I look at Rosie who looks as confused as me, “If he’s come to drag you home Ro I’m going to hit the roof!”

We both stand; Rosie a little sheepish and I make my way over to the buzzer. I don’t bother asking because I know it’s Michael so I just release the door and step out on the landing to greet him.

“What the hell are you doing here?”

In an instant I’m pushed back against the wall as Matthew races towards me and pins my hands above my head, pressing his body to mine as he kisses me intensely.

“Ahem!”

Rosie clears her throat to get our attention and Matthew steps back. I laugh as her eyes drift down, then up and Matthew blushes. There’s nothing that he can do to hide his arousal and Rosie just laughs.

“Hi Matthew. Come in, I’ll call a cab!”

The three of us head into the flat and as Rosie calls for a taxi, Matthew kisses me again, a little more chastely but still full of desire.

“I’m sorry, I wanted to surprise you.” His forehead rests against mine as he wraps his right hand around the back of my neck, pushing his fingertips up into my hair as his left hand grips my side.

“You’re not due home until tomorrow.” I smile and kiss him briefly,

“I couldn’t stay. Missing your call yesterday was torture.”

I kiss him again. He needed me so much that he caught an earlier flight home. God knows what the change cost him. I’m overwhelmed.

“Erm, I’m off then you two!”

Rosie smiles as she stands by the front door ready to leave.

“We’ll walk you down.” Matthew grins and takes my hand as he leads me out of my flat to see my sister safely into a taxi. This is just too comfortable.

Day Fourteen - Saturday

“Baby…” I moan unconvincingly as Rafe kisses my throat and pushes his hand under my t-shirt, “Babe….RAFE!” I come to my senses as Rafe’s fingers start to make their way under the waistband of the lounge trousers that I borrowed after my shower. “We need to stop,” I’m actually short of breath, I don’t want to stop, “I should go.”

I look Rafe in the eyes, pleading him to just say ‘FUCK THIRTY DAYS’ and drag me to bed. I’d happily renege on the deal right now. But he doesn’t and he’s right.

His hand leaves my lower abs and comes up to my face. We shift so that we’re side by side on his sofa, I feel like my lips are swollen after hours of kissing. My dick certainly is, and I have the worst case of blue balls known to man!

It’s been like this for the past two nights since I came home early from Belfast. It’s so difficult to resist when we get to this stage. What the hell was I thinking? Why couldn’t I have said two weeks? We’d be in bed right now if I’d thought it through properly!

“Don’t go baby, I don’t want you to go. We can do this, I know we can.”

He kisses me and I process what he’s saying. He actually thinks I can stay and share his bed, and not have sex…What? There’s no way that can happen!

“Rafe, I really don’t think I can stay. You know as well as I do that we’re not going to last thirty days if we share a bed.”

I kiss him and my hand slides down over his hips before I scold myself again.

“Stay, it’ll be fine, I promise I won’t take advantage of you.” He smiles that heart stopping smile, “We can have breakfast and then lounge around all day tomorrow watching films.”

The look on his face is impossible to resist. I shake my head and smile. I guess I’m staying!
