½ bunch fresh cilantro, leaves removed
½ bunch fresh mint, leaves removed
2 tablespoons toasted pine nuts (omit for Detox)
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Juice from ½ lemon

Place all the ingredients except the lemon juice into a blender or food processor and puree until smooth. Add the lemon juice and pulse to combine. Adjust the seasonings to taste.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

MAKES ABOUT 1 CUP

red pepper rouille

HEALTHY FATS, VEGETABLES

Roasted Red Pepper
, or 1 jarred roasted pepper in water
1 garlic clove,
baked
and peeled
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
Juice from 1 lemon
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Puree the pepper in a blender or food processor with the garlic and olive oil. Mix in the lemon juice. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

MAKES ¾ CUP

secret sauce

PROTEIN, HEALTHY FATS, VEGETABLES
DETOX, LEVEL 1, LEVEL 2

½ cup tomato paste
1 tablespoon All Natural SomerSweet
½ cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon dill pickle relish (see Note)
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Combine the tomato paste, All Natural SomerSweet, mayonnaise, and relish in a mixing bowl. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

MAKES 1 CUP

NOTE
  Be sure to look for dill pickle relish, not sweet pickle relish, which can contain added sugar.

tartar sauce

1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
2 teaspoons All Natural SomerSweet
2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill (optional)
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Place all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and season with salt and pepper. Stir until well blended.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

MAKES 1½ CUPS
