“We need to get this shit done in two days tops so you better think of something fast if he don’t call you tonight or tomorrow morning we gonna try a faster approach,” Messiah said. “I’m not about to be riding in circles on this dude every single day.”

“See that’s why you have to listen at me and trust me as much I do you. I told you to stay back at the hospital to make sure nobody gets to her, that way we are assured we will be paid. I can handle Binx, we’ve done this enough times for me to do it this one time alone,” Tiffany said. “You said one day you want to take me to the beach and I’m willing to make that happen in two days- just for us Babe.” Tiffany expressed this one time she needed him to trust her when she say she can get Binx. Messiah sighed and kept his eyes focused on Binx’s car, he didn’t like being too far apart during a job.

“Next stop at the light I’mma get out and catch the bus back to the hospital and you get up with me,” Messiah said. At the next stop Messiah gave Tiffany a kiss and jumped out. She hurriedly crossed over to the driver’s seat and trailed Binx.

Chapter Seven

Binx’s crib was plush for real and he had it going on. He was caramel, six foot six, two hundred and fifty pounds even, with one dimple in his left cheek. He has sandy brown hair that was fade in to a set of seasick deep waves. The boy was fine! For a minute Tiffany had to check herself because the fire that was coming from her pussy was too much, but once it started to leak juices into her panties she knew that this job was gonna be a hard one.

Tiffany continued to watch him and wondered what the inside of the mini mansion he lived in looked like. This was the reason that this job was so important to her, she wanted to get the big buck so a man like Binx could never make her think twice about Messiah and at the moment Binx’s life was causing her to do just that. She knew what she was feeling was not right cause Messiah was good to her yet everything they had they worked hard for it. If she had a nigga like Binx seeing it would come as simple as buying a book.

Tiffany loved Messiah with all of her heart, but there have been times that she wanted to get with other niggas with big money. Although, she had a trust fund that she didn’t touch, she was just used to being spoiled by her father. She just wasn’t into taking care of a nigga it was something she planned to share with the man she marry cause she will know that he love her for her and not the money. Tiffany never mentioned much about that life or that her parents were killed when she was a child. She often missed living the good life but the struggle made her grateful to be alive. Most people that had the kind of money she inherited would never do the things that she was doing. She did it because it was the only way she felt close to her family-when she see blood.

****************

Messiah was thinking hard about the situation while on the bus. He fucking hated the bus because drunks and dope heads wanted to use it for a home. The bus stank like hell and that was why he had his own whip since he was fifteen. Now fucking with T he was on this fucking lousy ass bus. It was all about the money so he did what he had to for his family cause one day they wasn’t gone have to do this and Tiffany will be his wife and spoiled out of her mind.

On another note Messiah couldn’t believe that Binx beat Mallory’s ass like that, but in the back of his mind he didn’t believe that shit because he took her to the hospital. Niggas is wild like that nowadays so that wouldn’t even matter and it’s no telling what’s going on in Binx’s head. Messiah saw the hospital and yelled, “Aye boo right here.”

The female driver smiled and stopped “You know this not a stop.” She was flirting.

“I’m sorry boo I haven’t caught a bus since I was a kid you see I put a five dollar bill in the fare box.” Messiah said as she pulled closer to the curb.

“Yeah I noticed that.” She did notice him and nothing about this man said frequent bus rider so she wasn’t tripping on him plus he was fine so it was all good.

“Thanks ma be easy.” He stepped off the bus.

“Anytime love I hope to see you again.

“I’m sorry boo that wish ain’t gone come true but you might catch me in another place if it’s meant to be. “ Just like that Messiah was gone.

The bus pulled away from the curb with a sad driver. Messiah crossed the street and lightly jogged to the hospital. He entered and laughed at the desk clerk that was running her damn mouth on the phone like she was at home.

“Girl yeah that nigga thinks it’s a game but I got his bitch ass.” She told the person on the phone like she wasn’t at work.

“Excuse me.” Messiah said because she acted like she didn’t see him.

“Yeah that bitch had to nerve to call my house looking for him. I was like bitch don’t call me, if you keep yo’ pussy tight he wouldn’t keep running up in this.”

Messiah shook his head and she could tell that she was getting on his last nervous. “Girl hold on this nigga at my desk getting mad and shit.” She laid the phone on the desk.

“How can I help you sexy?” Now she wanted flirt.

“Mallory Dawson.” Messiah ignored her comment.

“Oh so you gone act like you didn’t hear me call you sexy and shit? That must be your boo, she in three twenty six. “Messiah just walked away from the desk and waited on the elevator.

The nurse returned to her phone conversation. “Yeah bitch yeah, this sexy ass nigga that’s coming to see his woman I can suck that dick good for him.” She burst out laughing.

Messiah shook his head as he got on the elevator,
the things some women say and do is just not right.
That is why he wasn’t planning on having kids until he was married and out of the line of work that he’s in now. He also wanted his wife to be a full time mother, no job; she will just love and take care of the kids while he would take care of her.

Messiah exited the elevator heading to Mallory’s room. Mallory was propped up watching the television as he walked in. She looked at him shocked to see him wondering how he knew that she was there. She was planning to call him in a couple of days to inform him on what happened.

“Hey.” He didn’t want to be too loud. Looking at how she look he thought that everything might hurt.

“Hey what are you doing here?” She asked in a whisper she was very glad to see him.

“It’s my job, remember you hired me.” Messiah smiled.

“I didn’t hire you to be my bodyguard.” She smiled thinking that he cared about her.

“I know I was laying on Binx trying to get his movement to put him down. I was following him when he came to your home, and then bring you out all beat up. I thought you were dead.” Messiah said caring a little bit.

Mallory gave a smile through the pain, “Binx beats me but he wouldn’t kill me.” She lied.

“So he did do this to you?” Messiah couldn’t believe this shit.

“Yes.” She let the fake tear fall down her cheek.

“Why? I thought he just worked for your dad?” Messiah was confused.

“I didn’t want to tell you he is my man I have been with him since you left me. I put him on, and then he got the big head and started doing his own thing. You know my father would never allow that so my dad left town and he told me to have this fixed when he come back.” She had her lies ready.

“That’s your man that you want us to kill? This shit is not cool, we have to give you the money back and leave this to your family.” Messiah felt that too much was taking place here.

“No look at me this is what he does to me when money doesn’t go right. Then he brings me to different hospitals so they won’t get used to seeing his face.” She was working Messiah.

“I don’t know I have Tiffany to worry about. This shit can get crazy and if she gets hurt, I can’t live this life without her.” He felt like telling her that now this was the woman that he cheated on her with.

“I am not trying to get you or your boo hurt. I am just trying to get out of this.” She said pointing at her bruised body and he felt her pain.

“I can do this for you, but after that no matter how good you think my work is, I don’t want to do no more business with or for you.” Messiah didn’t mean to be so cold he just felt like his past had come back to haunt him.

“I understand once the job is done I will be out of your life. I got the info that y’all were the best in town, that’s all.” Mallory said.

“I am glad that my name is ringing in these streets because that only means that I’ll be retiring soon.” Messiah told her.

“Yeah then you can buy that beach front property that you always dreamed of having.” Mallory smiled thinking back to the good ole days.

“You remember that huh?” he was shocked.

“Yeah I thought that was the only dream you ever had.” She laughed

“No I got a few more that will soon come true.” Messiah laughed.

“That’s great! I am glad you found someone that loved you the way you needed to be loved.” She hated saying those words but she needed to make him think that she was over him.

“I am loved more than I ever thought I could be.” Messiah smiled thinking about Tiffany’s love.

“I never stopped loving you.” Mallory finally told the truth.

“Huh?” Messiah said as if he missed something.

“I never stopped loving you, I just moved on because you would never take me back.” She said.

“I love my clothing and shoes.” Messiah told her.

“I guess you value things more than people.” She needed to know if that was that the reason he never took her back.

“Some people are given so many things that they don’t know the meaning of working for the shit others have.” Messiah needed her to know what his life was about.

“I guess a spoiled rich girl will never understand that.” Sometime she hated being rich because she did understand that mediocre people did to survive.

“I guess not. I got to go.” Messiah was out the door before she could say anything else. He turned the corner that lead to the elevator. He was heading home to see what Tiffany had found out.

******

Tiffany had been following Binx around all day she found out where his main home was and trap houses. She even found out what his main boy Styles looked like when he met up with him. Tiffany headed back to the hospital to see if she would find Messiah there. She did but that was not all that she found. “How could Messiah not tell me that he knew Mallory?” She asked herself. “Then this bitch talking about she still love him and knew all about his fucking dream.” That let Tiffany know that they had to be in a serious relationship, but she was always told it had been nothing to worry about.

Messiah didn’t tell his dream and goals to anyone so she had to be important to him. Tiffany wanted to go in that room and kill Mallory but she had it coming. She was gonna get this money first and Messiah was going to always be her man but he was gonna do a lot of ass kissing and licking behind this shit. For now Tiffany would play it cool. Her phone rung breaking her thoughts. She smiled when she saw the unfamiliar number on the screen. Tiffany let it go to voicemail but she planned to call him back in a few minutes.

Tiffany knew it was Binx that called and she didn’t want to be so hard up so soon in calling him back. She watched Messiah leave the floor and decided on sitting a few minutes to make sure he was gone. Two young dudes got off the elevator and went to the information desk asking what room Mallory was in. Tiffany assumed they were goons coming to take Mallory out. She peeked around the corner and noticed them as they entered. A few minutes went by and one came out smiling on his phone from what Tiffany could hear he was talking to a bitch. “Her father must got the young guns to watch over her.” Tiffany said to herself and then felt at ease as she decided on taking the stairs down.

Finally reaching the parking garage she walked quickly to her car and began to jump in her feelings about Messiah. She thought her and Messiah had established a truce about being honest with one another. Right now Messiah wasn’t living up to it, but she knew it was her fault from jump being she shouldn’t have accepted Mallory’s drink. She shouldn’t have sent Messiah to meet with Mallory and damn sure should have sent the money back after she got sick. Tiffany figured if she had listened more and tamed her wild thirst for the fast life he would’ve told her about Mallory.
Bleep Bleep.
Her phone rung- it was Messiah. “Don’t you know we’re in the middle of a job? No phones.” She answered with an attitude.

“You better watch your fucking mouth T, where are you?” Messiah asked. Tiffany did something she never did with Messiah- rolled her eyes and as much as she loved him she hated dishonesty. “I know you hear me talking to you!” Messiah said.

“In the hospital parking garage I found out where this dude be at and I was coming to check with you.” She stated truthfully. Tiffany was really trying to do right by this job to make sure that her and Messiah were on the same page at all times.

“Come round the back I was about to start walking. I ain’t fucking with anymore buses.” Messiah said. Tiffany cranked the car up and pulled out. After paying the parking fee she whipped the corner and spotted Messiah. He jogged over to the car, hopped in, and then closed the door. Tiffany sped away from the hospital heading home she needed to shower.
