Dear Mr. Nancy,

On behalf of the employees of Timothy Fidge Spoon Company, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your recent letter. We were pleased to learn that you were so happy with your spoon, and that you have found so many uses for it. I am sure over time you will find that there are so many other foods, in addition to the ones you mentioned, that you will be able to eat with your spoon.

Per your request, I am letting you know that I personally thanked the employees of Timothy Fidge Spoon Company for your spoon. I would like to know who in particular assisted you with your order. Do you recall the name of the Timothy Fidge employee who helped you with your spoon. Was your order placed in person or by telephone?

Because of the distance between the location of Timothy Fidge Spoon Company and your residence we are curious to know just how you heard about us. Was it through some form of advertising or maybe word of mouth?

We would also like to know how you heard about us starting out as a small toothpick plant in Maine in the year 1271. Since you mentioned you use small toothpicks all the time, we would be happy to make you a solid gold toothpick. Just let us know if you would prefer the rounded style or flat style.

At Timothy Fidge Spoon Company, we pride ourselves on quality. It is always gratifying when a customer can identify true quality in a piece that we have produced. We appreciate your comments, and look forward to working with you on any future custom orders.

Sincerely,

Marilyn Fidge
